Mi 11X Review: The Poco F3 We Deserved?!

Hey guys harsh here and welcome back to technology. This is the 11x, which is also known as the Poco f3 and Redmi k40. In some other markets, different names same phone, the box contains some paperwork, a clear transparent case, an USB type-c to headphone jack dongle, the handset itself in black color, a 33 watt, fast charger and an USB type-c cable. You know! What's in there right, it's shy! Everyone was waiting for this phone to come to India and well it's. Finally, here I would have loved to see this phone under the Poco brand, continuing the legacy of Poco f1, but nevertheless the 11x has arrived over here in India and, let's talk about it in detail, Xiaomi seems to be focusing a lot on the design of their smartphones. This year, me 11x is a very well-designed slim lightweight and easy to use phone.

It feels great in the hand and looks good too. The camera bump is also very thin. This time around, it is almost flushed with the back panel. Now the phone will still rock a little when you keep it on a flat surface, but not a lot, though one design choice that I do not appreciate is the removal of the headphone jack. I love me.

Some wired audio, the 3.5 mm headphone jack will definitely be missed over here now inside the box. You do get an USB type-c to 3.5 mm audio jack dongle. So if you have your wired earphones, you can use them with this phone, but you'll have to use that dongle. The mi 11x is built really well glass on the front and back it weighs in at 196 grams, but it does not feel like it because of the even weight distribution. It feels very lightweight in the hand.

I have no complaints about the build quality. This phone comes in three color options: cosmic black, frost, white and celestial silver cosmic black is the only one which comes with a glossy finish, so it's better to avoid that matte. Finish is way better because it does not attract a lot of fingerprints. One of the main things with this smartphone is its performance. Under the hood me, 11x comes with a snapdragon 870 processors, which is based on the 7 nanometer manufacturing process, along with that it has the arena 650, GPU, 6 or 8gb of lpddr5 ram and 128gb of UFS 3.1 storage. There is no scope for memory, expansion whatsoever.

That means you get a dual sim card slot and nothing else. Xiaomi should have given a hybrid sim card slot, at least because that would have been awesome. The performance of this phone is top-notch. Snapdragon 870 is based on the seven nanometer process and Qualcomm has got very good at making seven nanometer chips by now, so they started last year with the snapdragon 865 and this year with the 870 they've gotten better. You can throw whatever you want at this phone, and it will not drop a sweat.

The performance is very good throughout the phone feels very snappy apps open up, faster Instagram works faster as compared to budget phones and the overall system feels very responsive. I have noticed a couple of frame drops here and there not a lot, though, and I'm pretty sure that they will get ironed out with some software updates for most use cases. This phone is definitely overkill, but such a powerful phone is definitely a good thing for gamers. So if you have to play games like PUBG, mobile or cod mobile or any other heavy game, then you're going to love the performance of this phone. Now I am not a heavy gamer, but I do like to play some battle.

Royale games here and there with my friends. The May 11 x is a beast for gaming. No doubt about that. So yeah with snapdragon 870 and arena 650 GPU, you are gonna, get excellent performance with the mi 11x. A big part of the smartphone experience is the software.

This phone comes with mini 12 out of the box based on android 11. Now mini 12 is a very heavy skin based on android. It comes with a lot of features and customizations. These features are extremely helpful, so features like dual apps, multi window themes, etc. are very helpful and that's what makes me UI a feature rich skin.

It has tons and tons of features. Now with that being said, it also comes with bloatware, which is kind of annoying, but the good thing over here is that you can uninstall that bloatware. I would recommend you to uninstall all the unnecessary applications. Mini 12 is a very heavy skin, but it is optimized for this phone. It doesn't feel laggy or unoptimized whatsoever.

It feels like an optimized experience, which is a good thing now, as I said, I have seen a couple of bugs here and there, which I'm pretty sure will get ironed out with upcoming software updates. Now here are a couple of things that I do with every Xiaomi phone to make it look more like stock android number one is to install Poco launcher because it works really well with Xiaomi phones. Number two is to install and set an icon pack, which is the pixel icon pack. Now these two things will make a lot of difference, and it will make your smartphone look more like stock android, I will make sure to drop a link to both of these applications in the description box below it is time to talk about my favorite thing. With this smartphone the display this phone comes with a 6.67 inches full HD plus super AMOLED 120 hertz display the display, supports hdr10 and has a peak brightness of 1300 nits. Those are a lot of big numbers, but what about the actual display quality? Well, the display quality is top-notch.

It has accurate colors, very good contrast ratio because of which you get deep blacks, good viewing angles and also gets bright enough to use outdoors in sunny conditions watching content on the smartphone is excellent because of that display, so things like watching movies, on Netflix, Amazon, prime hot star, etc. or watching YouTube videos are an immersive experience, because the display is just beautiful. Now the display also has a refresh rate of 120 hertz, with a touch sampling rate of 360 hertz, again big numbers over here and because of snapdragon 870. It does not drop a sweat snapdragon 870 easily handles the 120 hertz refresh rate, and this phone is smooth. AF, swiping, scrolling and other gestures are extremely smooth because of the 120 hertz refresh rate.

I have not faced any problems with the refresh rate whatsoever. Camera is one of the most important things with smartphones these days. A good camera experience goes a long way and does this phone have that? Well, first, let's talk about the hardware. So, on the right side, there is a triple camera setup, a 48 megapixel primary camera, which is the Sony mix 582 does not have OS. Then there is an 8 megapixel, ultra-wide angle, camera and finally, a 5 megapixel macro camera, so no useless, 2 megapixel depth sensor over here, which I do appreciate.

Now what about the photos? Well from the primary 48 megapixel camera? You can shoot some amazing photos. The dynamic range is impressive, even in difficult conditions. The HDR mode does help over here in exposing the highlights and shadows in a good way. Apart from that, the photos have a good amount of detail in them, which is a good thing. So if you like to edit your photos, these details will come in handy now.

Here are some photos that I shot and edited on this phone itself, and you guys, let me know your thoughts about these photos. If you want a Lightroom preset for me, then please. Let me know about that in the comments down below as far as the colors go, they are not too over saturated and not too under saturated as well. Just the right amount. The photos look pleasing to the eye.

Snapdragon 870s ISP is coming in handy over here to produce some perfect quality images for low lighting scenarios. There is a dedicated night mode which works really well. You will have to keep your phone steady, otherwise you will get a blurry photo. So please keep that in mind, but yeah low light. Photography is sorted because of the night mode.

Now what about the ultra-wide angle, camera? It has a very good perspective with a field of view of 119 degrees. Now the actual photo quality is just ok. The dynamic range is just ok, and it could have been better, especially with the highlights it. Sometimes over exposes the highlights, which is kind of annoying, so HDR mode for the ultra-wide angle. Camera definitely needs some tweaking and if someone from Xiaomi is watching this, please work on that and provide a software update for the ultrawide angle camera.

Apart from that, the photos are soft, and they don't have a lot of detail in them because of the 8 megapixel sensor. The colors are accurate, not too over saturated, not too under saturated for low light scenarios. The ultra-wide angle, camera does have the night mode, and it works really well. So if you want to shoot low light, ultra-wide angle, shots you are covered over here, I would say the ultraviolet camera is just a good perspective. This gets me to the third camera, which is the 5 megapixel macro.

You can shoot some really creative macro shots with this camera. It is high quality, has a good amount of details and does not feel unnecessary. So Xiaomi has worked on the macro camera, with the Redmi Note 10 series as well and with this one as well. So I do appreciate this macro camera. This gets me to video shooting from the rear camera.

You can shoot up to 4k at 30 fps, with support for electronic image stabilization. So I do appreciate as at 4k30. You can shoot stable footage and looks good as well. The quality is excellent, the colors are on point and the dynamic range is decent enough.4K 30 videos come out to be good from this smartphone, I'm kind of disappointed that it does not support 4k 60fps. That would have been just awesome, and I guess that the processor does support it, so, if Xiaomi can enable it via software update, that would be awesome.

This gets me to the front camera. So, on the front side of things, there is a 20 megapixel camera, and it works really well high quality, detailed selfies with natural skin tones and very good dynamic range as well. I am impressed with the selfie camera over here. Again, I think snapdragon 870 is ISP and Xiaomi software is doing a very good job over here. To give you some awesome.

Selfies the selfie camera also supports night mode, which means in terms of low light scenarios. You are sorted for selfies as well. Alright, this is a very quick front, camera video test with the mi 11x. Please let me know about the audio quality and video quality coming out of the front camera in the comments down below. That was a mouthful all in all the camera.

Experience of this phone is amazing. Now I am going to try km on this phone very soon, especially for that ultrawide angle, camera. I'm pretty sure that we will see improvements so stay tuned for that the 11x comes with a 4520 William hour battery. This battery will easily last you throughout the day and some part of the next day as well and mind you. This battery life is with 120 hertz on all the time, so that is impressive in terms of charging.

You are getting 33 watt fast charging over here with the charger inside the box itself. So if you forget to charge your phone overnight, you can just do a top-up for 30 to 45 minutes in the morning which will get you throughout the day, and that is excellent. So no complaints in terms of battery life and charging. This gets me to other things. First up we have the haptic motor the haptic motor on this phone is excellent.

Xiaomi has not cheaper out on the haptic motor, and I really appreciate this next up are the speakers. This phone has a pair of dual stereo speakers, which are perfect. The sound is clear crisp and the volume is good too. I am impressed with the speakers me.11X also comes with an IR blaster, which means you can use this phone as a remote to control your TV, ac and other appliances. This feature is very convenient and very handy.

I am glad that Xiaomi has put the IR blaster in this phone. Next is the fingerprint sensor. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the power button, and it is a physical one. I have said this before, and I'll say it again: side mounted fingerprint sensors are better than in display fingerprint sensors. They are faster and more accurate and same is the case with this one.

It is a perfect fingerprint sensor. No complaints over there next are the buttons are click, and they do not feel cheap at all.11X starts at a price of rupees 30 000 for the 6gb and 128gb variant. Now I know a lot of you guys thought that it is overpriced because of the Chinese price. The Chinese price is way lower, but I don't think it is overpriced. There are a lot of taxes and import duties over here in India and the dollar rate keeps fluctuating, and, moreover, I feel that the price is justified.

You are getting your money's worth over here. I do not feel like this phone is overpriced at all. That is my honest opinion about the pricing. Now the launch offers include up to 3500 rupees cashback with HDFC cards, so that is an added bonus effectively on launch day. You can get this phone for about 27 000 rupees, which is an excellent deal in my opinion.

If you want to buy it, I will make sure to drop a link to it in the description box below so anyway. This was my full review of the 11x. If you like, this content, go ahead and hit that like button, and if you haven't already please subscribe to the channel, it would mean the world to me. My name is Punjabi and I'll. See you guys in the next one bye, bye.
