Hey everyone today we're running a semi-detailed, speed and performance test on iOS 13.6 versus 13.7. This is a more raw and analytical recording that I usually make edited for the purpose of comparing software. These are the exact same iPhones, except recorded before and after update to 13.7, and I'm using the iPhone 11 Pro. I hope this helps you make the decision of updating or not now, let's close everything and do a startup test, let's see which one starts first, so surprisingly, 13.7 took way longer. The speed of the face ID shouldn't have changed, but let's see keep your eye on the unlock icon. I've tested it four times and yeah.
It's all the same native applications come with your phone. It should load faster than party apps like Facebook or Amazon, but let's see if it got even faster voice, memos shortcuts health. Furthermore, it's strange that the web-based apps slow down so much. They usually only do so every year on the big updates. The good thing is it's not slow enough to notice in real life, where you wouldn't be comparing side by side.
Third party applications are from developers outside of apple; usually it varies per app, but let's find out, prime now google it looks like there are more mixed results in this area. I've been watching ram management, let's see if the memories changed, reminders, music, app store books, all right now, Snapchat ticktock refresh looks like 13.7 does a way better job at remembering apps. Now, let's clear out for the next test, we'll be using geek pinch 5 to see how your phone's processor is performing, it gives a score for both single and multi-core scores. Let's speed it up, scores are never exact protest, so it's always approximate. It's good to see the scores are pretty close, so not different enough to count as a change.
You just don't want it to go drastically lower if small new features, ram security and glitches matter to you, then I would update what's cool. Is the new exposure notifications check out the link in my description to find out more about that? I hope this helped, if so, give it a like and subscribe for more thanks for watching.
