MEIZU ZERO - A Phone With No Ports, Buttons Or Even Sim Card!!

Maze have announced the zero phone in China a phone without any buttons or even any ports. The major zero is unique in the fact that it has a seamless design. It comes without any physical buttons, ports or even a SIM card tray or speaker grille. Instead of using a SIM card tray, the device relies on ECM technology instead of volume, rockers and a power button. We've got touch capacitive panels, along with haptic feedback to recreate the feeling of a real button using their M Engine 2 technology. So this is similar to that we've seen on the galaxies, as well as the iPhone sevens, there's also no speaker grille at all maze have instead equipped a zero with transducers that vibrate parts of the display free, the loudspeaker or earpiece audio.

As there are no ports, the zero will also support Bluetooth 5, along with wireless USB connectivity they're claiming this can transfer as fast is the USB 3 standard. Personally, I'm not going to be believing this until I actually see it and, of course, when it comes to charging, you've got no charge port on the device, but it does support wireless charging up to 18 watts because of all this seamless design. If the device is IP, 68 water-resistant, which means it can be fully submerged up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes now for the display on the device that we've got a five point. Nine inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 by 2160, and we also get an in display fingerprint scanner. It does have a bezel on both the top and the bottom, but I quite like the design.

As it is nice and symmetrical inside the bezel. We get a 20 megapixel, front-facing selfie camera, which will support face unlock on the back. We've got a dual camera setup, that's 12, megapixels, plus 20 and, as you can see, that's stacked vertically. The 12 megapixel is a standard lens and the 20 megapixel a telephoto. It's powered up by the snapdragon 845, so that is last year's chipset, but still a great system on chip.

Nonetheless, unfortunately, they haven't given us any information on the RAM and storage configurations, the phone's going to be available with either a glossy white or black panel on the back, but they haven't announced any details of pricing or availability. Yet the company stated that it still has to get regulatory approval for the ESA mat before it's going to be launched in China. It's also reported that VIVO have a similar design in the works and now be announcing theirs if Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month, but it is a very interesting concept. I'd like to see new designs in just anything different from the norm, but at the same time, is there really any need to remove all these ports? Many other manufacturers have achieved decent IP ratings while still retaining the ports, and while wireless functionality is great, it's always nice to have an option. Personally, I, don't think I'll be considering purchasing this one, but I'll definitely still be keeping an eye on it.

So I'll tell you more info as we receive it, but as always I'd like to know your thoughts down in the comments below. Do you like the look of this phone, and what do you think about the idea of removing all of these ports and buttons? But thank you for watching the video, and please don't forget to Like, share and subscribe to the channel.
