LG Velvet Vs LG Wing Which One Should You Buy ???

What's up everybody: this is Dr tech preacher, so I'm out here at the park- and I got a requested video here- uh somebody asked me: should they buy the lg velvet or should they buy the lg wing now both of these devices is similar, spec phones but catered to two different people. So in this video I'm going to ramble off, I'm going to give you my thoughts about both of these devices, and I'm going to show you uh the gimbals footage versus this phone here and so you all guys can see the gimbals versus the lg velvet. Also, again, I'm to give you my thoughts about both of these devices. Should you pick up the lg velvet? Should you pick up the lg wing? Let's find out sit back and relax and get your popcorn ready and follow me on this journey. Let's go what's up guys. This is Eric back with another video.

So let's go and talk about some specs and different characteristics with both of these devices before I kind of show off the gimbals functionality of the lg wing. Now the lg velvet lg, we got a 6.8 inch, 1080p display on both of them. You got the 765 g processor. In both of them we got eight gigs of ram in both of them 128 gigs, in both of them. Now the lg velvet has a headphone jack.

The lg wing does not have a headphone jack uh. The lg velvet is more of an average consumer device because it has a nice beautiful, slim design, uh, that's really catered for the average consumer uh a device that you can put a case on or keep it bare like this, and you're good to go now. Both of them have perfect cameras on them uh, but the lg wing uh, it's an innovative device. This is different. This is for the techies.

This is something that a techie would just cream over when they uh do something like this. This is more of a normal device, so you uh, both of these devices, is catered to two different people, all right with all that rambling off uh. Let's talk about the cameras now, the cameras on here is similar in so many ways. Uh lg does a fantastic job on the cameras. Both have got pro mode, but the lg wing has what's called a gimbals mode, which is fantastic, so uh.

The first part of this video, I'm going to show you guys gimbals mode uh with this device versus optical image stabilization, or maybe the lack of optical image stabilization on the lg velvet, alright guys. So this part of the video. What I want to show you is the gimbals mode versus the lg velvet, Dr lg velvet uh can shoot in 4k, uh, 1080p and stuff, like that. The lg wing and gimbals can only shoot at 1080p 30 frames per second now you cannot shoot in 4k. That's some of the limitations that the lg wing has when you shoot gimbals now, gimbals mode is more of an enhanced optical image.

Stabilization that gives you that perfect smooth footage. Now, let's talk about some different things here, with the cameras now on the lg wing, you do have manual mode. You do have pro mode and stuff like that. As far as steel footage and video the lg wing, the lg velvet does not have pro video. It only has manual cameras, so you cannot dial in your settings here on the lg velvet.

Unfortunately again, some of the limitations that lg is doing with both of these devices again average consumer device probably would never go into pro mode, but this is a more of a techie device. So, yes, I can see why this device has manual mode. So it is a difference between both of these devices all right so, but I want to show you guys, uh gimbals mode here versus the regular camera app uh with both of these devices uh gimbals mode. You can do so many things with gimbals, but I want to show you how smooth it is between both of these devices. So what I'm going to do is go to video, and I am going to hit record on both devices, and I'm going to give you guys some commentary, as I walk here all right, so this is gimbals mode uh, and this is the lg velvet.

As you can see, you beat it just for yourself for how smooth the footage is, and again I'm holding the lg velvet uh, what a little gimbals, not a gimbals, but a little tripod stand in my hand, and I got the lg wing. It's I mean look, it looks just like a tripod, so it is what it is. So here it is, you could adjust for yourself. I really like that. I really like the smooth footage that comes out of the lg wing all right.

Let's turn that off uh as far as photos, you get perfect photos with both of these devices uh. As far as video, you can get good video. Now, if you don't use the gimbals mode here and the regular camera app. Yes, you can shoot in 4k and, yes, you do have manual uh cameras here on the lg wing. So when it comes down to it, both of these devices is pretty much catered to two different people, regular consumer.

They would probably never go into pro mode that would just open up the camera and shoot footage, shoot still footage and shoot video. Yes, you can use all kinds of manual settings on the lg Wii, because that's what it's for it's for the techies for the prosumer, so one of the things that I like about both of these devices is the unique form factor both of these devices is absolutely gorgeous. I really do like the phone effect on both. You really can't go wrong on how good these devices look. They feel real good in hand.

I can tell you that the lg velvet feels way better in the hand, because it's smaller but not smaller, but it's slimmer. The design is a lot thinner uh. If it's a lot lighter than the lg velvet, the lg velvet is a chunky, heavy phone and the reason why is because of the dual display uh. So when it comes down to it's all about personal preference man now one thing that I do want to touch on, and this is important- the display look man. I don't know what lg did with the display on both of these devices.

But the displays on here is absolutely mind-boggling.1080P displays on these devices, and I'm going to tell you these. I mean lg have done something really special with the displays on these devices because they are absolutely fantastic, so the lg wing in the lg velvet has a 765 g processor with eight gigs around when they come down to the raw processing power of both of these devices. You're not going to have any issues. You can play any high intensive game in the app store at high settings, and it will play very well so when it comes down to raw processing power, both of these devices, you won't have no issues with now. I've been talking a lot of good stuff about both of these devices.

I mean the displays on it is beautiful. The design on these devices are beautiful, but I've been saying in this video that both of these devices is catered to two different people, and especially when it comes down to the price point. Let's talk about the cons, the cons is again. It has a 765 g processor right. So when you're looking at the price point at 699 to 799, you got the galaxy s20 Fe out there with the 865 processor, with eight gigs of ram.

So good cameras, and it has pro mode, and it has deck support, so it is it's in a huge competition between this phone and a lot of other different phones, I'm just naming the galaxy s20 Fe, but when you're talking about in this realm, you got a lot of phones, that's competing with this device all right. So let's talk about the lg wing. We've been talking about a lot of good stuff about this device. We wonder what are the major flaws and I think for techies, again prosumer device for techies, most techies, no specs. This phone does not have the 865 or 865 plus processor at a thousand dollars.

A lot of techies will steer away from this phone. Now. Don't get me wrong when they come down to innovation. This is a head turner. This is a the display on here is very good.

It has pro mode, it has a gimbals mode. It has fantastic cameras. Furthermore, it has a lot of stuff going for this phone. I think as a techie, you look at this and say it's all about the specs. It's all about the specs and this device does not have the specs to match the innovation, and I think if they had put the 865 or 865 plus processor in it, you could have got 4k uh with gimbals, because you would have had the processing power to do it.

I think you know you could have put a 1440p display on here. You could have put the headphone jack on here, so when you think about, if this is going to be a pro sumo device for content creators to shoot footage, it does not have a headphone jack. That's a confusing part about this device. If you're going to have gimbals mode, all kinds of different aspects for content creators, when we want to connect wireless mics, uh connect, lavender mice, it doesn't have a headphone jack. So again I think lg dropped the ball, and why wouldn't lg put a headphone jack on this device that that's the burning question right? Just I mean lg phones have headphone jacks, lg phones catered to the content creators.

Lg phones catered to a lot of different aspects of prosumers and this phone doesn't have a headphone jack, and I know what you guys going to see easy, keep talking about. Headphone jacks, listen man, lg have to be bigger than that. Lg has to be bigger than the rest of the competition. So I hope you enjoyed this video of the lg wing and the lg velvet. Both of these devices are fantastic.

You don't have I can't go wrong with either device, I would say average consumer lg, velvet, prosumer techie lg wing all day long. This is Eric the tech preacher from easy computer solutions leave a comment down below. Let me know what you think about both of these devices in action. See you guys on the next video peace. That's how I got that heat.

Let's go you.
