Hey guys it's time to do a speed test comparison between the iPhone SE versus the iPhone 5s, and you can see that these two phones are really similar to each other, and it's its really hard to tell which is the SE or which is the 5s just by looking on the front, so I'm going to, let you guys decide by you know, judging from the speed of the boot up. So let's do this. At the same time, here we go and obviously the iPhone both iPhones actually have the iOS 9.3 point one installed see here. Let me just zoom in a little and there you go this one is the iPhone SE, and obviously it has risen gold color, which is a new edition and iPhone app 5s still taking some time. Of course, it will because it has Apple A7 chipset, which is ancient, so I'm going to unlock it, and you can see both are absolutely similar, and it's really difficult to tell the difference nearly there that improves the speed. They have improved the camera, but the design and the look of the phone is pretty much the same.
Okay, so let's go ahead and do a quick app opening test and everything is closed up in the background and both are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, so starting off from phone dialer, and it is definitely faster on the SE. No doubt about that, and it should be. Obviously it should be. We are talking about like three years faster phone iPhone 6 came out and then the iPhone 6s actually is just two generations, but still it's pretty fast photos faster with the iPhone SE clock and obviously those people want a small phone. This is actually in nice, upgrade as far as speed and camera is concerned, so settings, and even with just normal system apps, you can notice that the iPhone SE is definitely faster and again, the difference may not be big enough to.
You know, really show the speed of the SE and same thing with the weather really fast, Wi-Fi performance. You can notice, but I know why the iPhone 5s is taking a lot of time there I'm just going to go back and launch some more apps like calculator and the iPhone SE feels to be snappier in everything that I open up here. Here we go with the Notes app, definitely faster, though so, let's launch YouTube application and obviously different accounts, so I'm just going to load some search, some similar videos and go ahead and load them up. Ok, so just search the channel, and I'm just going to load some similar video. There we go and let's see here, it's going to be interesting.
I think the iPhone SE will win. Yes, the iPhone SE definitely showed the thumbnail first, of course, they're taking some time. I, don't know why snow so apparently, apparently I was wrong. The iPhone 5s actually loaded that faster, the compared to the iPhone SE. That was actually surprising.
So, let's see here, if we try opening up camera on both phones, which one will be faster, wow much faster here with the SE. So let's go ahead and do a safari internet browsing performance, test Harrison who can say that was a lot of stuff to say just going to hit, go at the same time, let's see which one will be faster, while iPhone SE seems to be the first one to come up to the website, but I think they've finished off almost equally now the iPhone SE now finished off the full website, so I see definitely faster, let's load this article, and it is definitely faster on the iPhone SE yeah. Also, next off is a GSM arena. Comm here we go and let's see here faster, just slightly faster on the iPhone SE. That was really close.
Let's open up this article and again faster on the iPhone SE. No doubt about that. So let's go back and do a quick little RAM management test. Now I didn't load any game because I know the iPhone SE is way faster. So and it probably it's going to be an it is, you know, probably a lot of people that are currently using the iPhone 5s are basically using this one as a phone they're not doing some heavy gaming or anything like that.
So yeah, let's load the apps here so first off we're going to be loading the phone dollar and seems to be no refresh there and if the iPhone 5s can give you a good experience with the system based applications, and it's going to be really nice because it's 2016 and let's see here, clock seems to be no difference: ok, weather and against not loading the weather for some reason and multitasking seems to be pretty similar settings. Okay, so that kind of refresh on these two ones: let's open up YouTube, okay, no refresh there are still a phone 5s. The iOS environment is still a pretty much performance friendly environment. You know it doesn't eat up that much RAM compared to Android, and I'm sure that if I, if I, had loaded some games, then of course the iPhone SE would be the winner. It also beeps out some the iPhone 6.
You know that is an upgraded phone compared to the iPhone 5s. So no point in doing these game, opening videos or game opening tests, I should say so: let's do a loss test which is going to be a fingerprint sensor test here. So, let's see, do it one more time: okay, what the hell my bad, my bad, my bad! Let's try it one more time so definitely faster on the iPhone SE. No doubt about that yeah it is a slippery device can be. It can be a little weird.
You know these edges. They can get out of your hand, so really sorry about that drop by anyways I'm, not going to cut that out, because this might that might make you laugh. So if you, if that did then please give this video a thumbs up, and I will see you guys in my next speed test, videos or any crazy video pace out.
