LG V60 VS LG Velvet Full Speed Test Comparison! 2020-2021

What's up guys so, as requested we're going to do the full speed test for the lg v60 versus the velvet, so let's go ahead and get started here. Uh for those acting. This is the T-Mobile version. It's the t, snapdragon 765 uh, with six gigs of ram the snapdragon 865 on the v60, with eight gigs of ram uh, so we're seeing this combo a ton and um these mid-range sorta kinda, not flagship phones but sort of almost flagship phones, the 765g with the arena 620 combos, so we're seeing that a ton. So let's go ahead and get started with the boot up here, three two one and be sure to check out my site for you guys that are always asking about wallpapers. I have a couple of cheap smartphone deals on there as well.

Try to keep you guys, updated on price fluctuations and uh yeah. So for you guys are asking about that, and it looks like the v60 got it there, uh slightly, all right, so before we get into the speed test. Let's talk about the um getting into the phone right, so both of these phones do not have a face unlock. They only have the fingerprint scanner, unfortunately uh, but they pretty much work the same, and it's not the fastest fingerprint scanner in the world on both of them they're both about the same uh. So do you know that I wish it had face? Face unlock uh, it's on the v50 and g8.

So I don't know why lg opted out of it on here, but they did so. You know it is what it is um but yeah. So let's go ahead and get into this. Let's go ahead and start off with YouTube v60 again, not by much play store, v60, let's go ahead and do tic TOC that look like the velvet. Let's go ahead and try Instagram v60, so not by much, not seeing a big difference, but we are going to see a difference in graphics.

We saw if you saw the other. Comparisons, are kind of dramatic difference with the chipset with gaming temple run v60, and we're in velvet slightly behind it temple run. I mean uh subway surfer. So you can see big uh kind of speed difference when we get to gaming and stuff like that. Well, not big, but Google Earth p60, so super smooth on both Jesse v60 is going to be slightly faster.

That's getting to a heavy game like pub g and the velvet actually got it there. It's right behind it, but my v60 looked like it was had a pop-up or something uh, so yeah. So as you guys can see, uh curved display and a flat display now, as you guys, can see uh, but let's go ahead and get into a game actually, and I'll. Show you guys the graphics settings, so you'll be able to see. So this is where you really see the difference um here, because the combo on here is using the arena 620, and you have the latest one on the velvet.

So if you go to graphics, and you will be able to notice a difference, so we can go on the velvet, we can go to ultra HD. It's telling me that download or switch your ultra HD in the lobby, so um yeah. So you can only go up to HD, but you can't go to HDR and of course you can't go to ultra HD, but the biggest thing is not even that uh. When you're gaming, you will notice the frame rate difference so with the 765 g versus the 865 you'll notice, that frame rate, and you'll also notice. You know the slight graphic uh increase, but the biggest difference is how smooth it is, especially for shooters.

You want everything to be superfast. So if you are like a big, you know big time, mobile gamer, I'm not but uh. You definitely would be going with like a v60 or pretty much any chip with you know a snapdragon, 865 or 855. Even let's go ahead and load up a web page go to lg. com boom, we're in on the v60 already velvet right behind it.

Scrolling super smooth uh on both here see if I can load up like a desktop version. Yeah, just super smooth, buttery smooth on both of these guys. But, of course your browsing speeds are going to be it's a little faster on the v60 here now, let's go ahead and check out ram management, so we have six versus the eight. So let's go YouTube still open. Both of these should do pretty well, chrome's still open.

You can skip to google one. Let's go pub g still open on both awesome. Let's go ahead and see if temple run is still open, still open on both. So both these phones are doing really well with multitasking. Let's try subway surfer, still open on both let's go ahead and try TikTok still open, so both these phones are killing it with uh being able to keep all of your applications uh opened here.

So I think this is like a normal amount of application. I'm sorry! If I, if I uh, you know, really push it to the limit and just opened up a ton of stuff uh, then the v60 would be able too slightly. You know outperform the velvet by having that a little more ram, but I think for the normal person, these are very good multitasking machines and remember you have the dual screen case you can put on both of these. So that is also really important for this to be able to keep apps in memory, let's go ahead and run the geek bench test and uh. Does anybody know what happened to the an tutu benchmark scores because it's not there uh the application? Isn't there on the play store anymore? All right! So here are the scores for geek bench, as you can see big difference with the multi-core on the v60.

But, as you can see big difference here, as you can see device, that's compared to it as the v60 doing a perfect job with 908, even beating out like a Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra. Somehow I wasn't expecting that, but that's pretty interesting but yeah. So here are your scores and uh yeah. So all right! So at the end of the day, if you're deciding between these two phones uh, obviously the v60 is the more powerful, and you know faster device here. But if you're on a budget, and honestly you can pick the v or the velvet up for pretty cheap one bay or Amazon right now, uh, you can get the dual screen case.

So, if you're just into like wanting a multitasking phone uh, the velvet is fine. You can save a little extra money if you shop around, but if you are doing gaming and stuff like that, and you're, like switching between games, you're playing two games at one time or just doing some really hardcore stuff multitasking, then the v60 is going to be the device you're going to want to pick up. So thanks for watching this video- and I will catch you guys in the next one- you.
