LG V60 versus Pixel 4 camera comparison

Hey, what's going on guys I'm Nick gray from Android, and it feels like its day, 275 of the coronavirus lockdown, even though we've only been locked up for less than a week now, but since we're all just sitting at home twiddling our thumbs, I thought I would put together a camera comparison between the pixel four and the all new LG V 60, which I'm using to record right now with the 13 megapixel ultra-wide camera on the back of the phone. Now as I do in all of these chemical persons. Everything that you see in this video is recorded with these two smartphones, so make sure you keep an eye at the bottom of the screen to see which device is being used. So with that, let's jump into the specs to see how the cameras on these two devices actually compare. Looking at the camera sensors on the pixel four, you get two cameras on the back of the phone. You get a 12 megapixel main sensor and a 16 megapixel 2x telephoto, and then flipping things around to the front-facing camera you're.

Looking at a 10 megapixel sensor there that can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second, while the rear cameras are able to capture 4k video at 30fps as well. On the LG v 60 things get a little more complicated with three cameras on the back of the phone, a sixty-four megapixel main sensor, 13 megapixel ultra-wide and then a 0.3 megapixel time-of-flight sensor. And then, if we look up front, you get a 10 megapixel front facing camera that one can record 4k video at 60 frames per second, as can the main sensor, which can also be bumped up to 8k at 28 frames per second, and then the ultra-wide for on the back of this phone can only capture 4k video at 30 frames per second. Now that we have the specs of these two phones, all squared away, let's jump into some side-by-side photo and video comparisons between the LG v 60 and the pixel 4 to see how they compare in day-to-day use. When it comes to video capture from the front-facing cameras of these two devices, you're looking at something completely different 1080p at 30 frames per second from the pixel four and then a 4k video at 60 frames per second from the LG V 60.

Now this is something that we've seen on a couple of other devices as well, but from what we can tell so far. The LG v 60 seems to do a little better than other devices that we have compared to and here you're looking at video from the rear cameras on both of these devices.4K video at 30 frames per second on the pixel core and 4k video at 60 on the LG v 60 and, as you can see here in Cleveland, things are a little slow tonight. There's a movie theater up here, that's typically open, but it's closed again. Everyone is pretty much on lockdown due to the coronavirus and honestly this, the noise here with the road and the cars passing by couldn't pick any louder environment. In order to record this, and that's gonna, do it for this camera comparison between the LGA 60 and the pixel 4.

Now, there's a lot to like about both of these devices when it comes to photos, but unfortunately, for the pixel, it looks like the LGA.60 does have a huge upper hand when it comes to video capture. Let me know what you think of the results in the comments and which device you would rather own on a daily basis to capture photos and videos. Thank you guys so much for watching. We do have more LG v60 camera comparisons coming up so make sure you subscribe to the channel to see those as soon as they're online, thanks again, and we'll catch you in the next one.
