Hey guys how's it going today, I want to show you guys the main phone I'm using right now for my every day phoning and calling and texting, and it is surprisingly you guys might not realize what this phone is. But it's the Kyocera duo force made by Japanese company some. Some of you might know this company, Kyocera and yeah the guys might be surprised. Why do I use this phone? This is the mid-range phone from 2014 when I could be using. You know a newer phone like the Xperia XE, with the HTC 10, with a Google Pixel Samsung, Galaxy S7. You know one of those really high-end flagship phones- and you know reviewed a lot of the other, more powerful phones before, like the blackberry curve in the BlackBerry passport in the Microsoft Lucia.
Furthermore, you know, the thing is what I really want in my day-to-day travels is to have multiple devices that specialize in what they do, so I carry around an iPhone SE just for taking pictures, because the camera is perfect and because it's a small device and yeah, that's just the thing. I, don't really like to carry huge devices, because you know my hands are small and I. Think small devices are I just like smaller devices. I think they're, cooler, more portable everything, so I wanted to find a small Android phone that can carry out my wishes. So the last phone that I used in Korea that satisfies this purpose is the Sony Xperia z3.
Now, as you can see, this phone is broken, I dropped it accidentally, so I broke this phone and this phone was really, really good, as it helped me a lot when I was actually, it is just a perfect phone period like it's waterproof, um two day battery life, you know expandable, and it's got NFC. It's got it. It's not it's not a big camera, but it's okay, I guess decent camera high-res audio. You know it's got an amps remote PlayStation remote play. So it's got like all these features and stuff that I really liked.
This is not wireless charging, but it's got a semi kind of wireless charging here as well. So the Xperia z2 Pack was satisfied all those things, but unfortunately it broke, so I just think about new phone. Well, it could get like the z5 compact I could get the PX compact, which is the new versions of this phone, but the problem is well I, just don't like to buy multiple devices that are kind of the same. You know pretty much the same so especially since I'll just be keeping this one from my collection. Now yeah I mean you served me well buddy, but yeah fortunately, look! What happened to you yeah, so I'll keep this one in my collection, but I don't want to get one that's too similar, so this one is actually come out on the same time as the Xperia Z compact, November 2014 fall, 2014 is and the thing I like about it I, like the small screen on the Xperia I, like the small screen on the Kyocera, aura force and I, like that, this thing really is it's really tough like this thing has really tough? What is it this kind of like vinyl kind of material thing on the back? It's really smooth feeling.
Okay, camera's, not that good, but it's ok, I'm not going to use this phone for the camera anyways and yeah I, like the small screen, um I, like the fact that it's very durable this is ip68 proof. My z3 compact was ip67 I, like phones to be really, really durable, and this is basically why I chose this phone. This is I just want a phone that can get me by through the day more than one day. Actually, this has a pretty good battery life like have like 2 day battery life, be really real, durable and compact have a small screen. You know all those features and the aura force just satisfies all these features.
You have these ok volume buttons on the side is a really, really tough buttons like they look like extra durable. This is user capable buttons. You can map that to ever. You want and got this cover here, because it has to be no dustproof and waterproof micro, USB right here, put pretty cool. Looking a grill speaker right here: hardware buttons, that's always nice to have hardware buttons.
Then we got here the slot for yep. This is for the SIM and the micro SD, so expandable as well and a power you have another flat for 2.5 millimeter, and then you have a lock button for the ringer, so yeah this. This phone is really, really cool. It is really, really durable, so yeah I, like I, really like carry this phone. You know it's not.
It didn't cost me that much. You only cost like 130 bucks unlocked, which is really cheap. It's very mid-range II, so it's not going to be the fastest for playing games or whatever, but I'm. Okay with that, since I don't play many games on my phone, all I want really wise is the phone for texting for you just doing basic stuff and being really durable and compact. So this satisfies it for me: yep IP, 68, waterproof dustproof, it's been tested to military standards, the mil spec standard, the same that the thing pads and the dell latitudes all the business notebooks have been tested to, and I really like those the durable kind of feeling my devices.
So that's why I have a lot of business laptops and that's why I have these durable kind of phones, I really like to have a tough phone, that I can just rely on and count on and yeah I have just a test to have a bowl of water right here. I can drop it in this water right, oops, I dropped it in or like. Let's say it's raining or something I dropped it in this water and stuff, but it's okay. Whatever it's still functional, you know it's, it's still very, very functional and yeah it to be a little slower. Ok there and now this is the main android screen.
There's no like um too much bloatware on here. I! Don't see that much you've got this eco-mode here, which you can actually turn on to have the battery life be extended to more than two days. So it's yeah, that's the same with the Opera. Has the stamina mode as well so I, really like phones that are small compact, durable and have long battery life and the coyote odor force is that phone? For me, it's its the phone that lets me do all the things all those things I want all the basic stuff that I want. I know it's not too high-end or anything.
It's not really flashy, but you know, gets the things done. It's really, really reliable, so um yeah, that's the Kyocera duo force and that's the reason why it's my main phone for now yeah. This is a 4.5-inch screen, 720p display, which I don't care too much about since I. Don't watch many movies or video either, but yeah I hope you guys liked it if you guys do have the chance. So you really want, like a small compact, reliable phone, then check out the high restored air force.
There's also a Verizon version called the car syrup would get Brigadier, and it's very, very similar to this one. So you can get it on AT&T or Verizon. This is the duo. Force is only on AT&T, so yeah, that's it the Kyocera door force thanks for watching.
