My New Smartphone Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 Unboxing (Retail Unit) By Geekyranjit

Hi guys this is transit and in this video let's do the unboxing and have a look at this Samsung Galaxy fold ii. It's actually known as the Samsung Galaxy z, fold 5g, but I'll just call it the full two and guys. If you recall, I had already posted one video prior to this uh. That was actually a demo unit. I just had for four days and was taken back but again guys. This is the retail unit that I purchased, and I plan to use this smartphone as my primary phone, because last year, if you recall uh, I do buy a lot of smartphones and the fold one.

I used it a lot as my primary smartphone, so I wanted to see how uh will this fold to uh behave in real life situations uh? So I purchased this one and uh guys it's a very expensive smartphone uh, it's around one lakh! Fifty thousand here in India I'll leave the link of Amazon if you're buying it from Amazon. I use the link. It does help the channel, but I purchased this one locally here in Hyderabad from Faisal communication uh. I got it slightly less than 150 uh one lakh, fifty thousand a slight discount because I know them uh, but anyways. Let's open this up, and this is the retail unit guys.

This is what you'll get so a box within the box. I don't know why they confused the name known as z-fold 5g. They should have just called the Samsung Galaxy fold, 2. We'll call it the full 2. I'll just keep that so box within a box, and I think, so this opens up like this.

So pretty fancy packaging, I would say and again says: yeah blah blah blah blah, we'll just keep that to the side and again uh some accessory box or something it's very light. So I don't think so. There is a lot of stuff in this wow such a big pamphlet for just a sim ejector and some quick start and warranty and regional guide stuff. So again, that's it no case or anything we'll keep the sim ejector tool here we'll require that I'll. Just keep this to the side, and this is the device itself and again just like the fold one.

We have a lot of warnings again got to be careful. Yes, it's a premium device guys but again got to be careful with it. You can't poke it and stuff. So I'll just keep this and let's see what do we get uh. So we are also getting the z premier service, even in India, so you get 24 hour support and one year Samsung care plus protection.

So that is what we have and um uh. We are getting the 25 watt, uh fast charger in the box, and it's a type c to type c charger. So that's what I'll just keep that also to the side, and this will be the USB uh. What do you say? Type c, cable and nothing- and this is the AKG- that's it uh, but uh guys. If you recall, with the fold one, we actually got wireless headphones.

We are not getting this we're just getting a bad headphone and some extra ear tapes in this one. They should have actually given that wireless headphones, considering the premium pricing of this one, but that's what we get in the box. So this time definitely Samsung. The box looks fancy, but they have cut down on the accessories that we got with the fourth one. We got a lot, I feel they should have given a case or someone, because I know personally, you know three other people who have bought it.

They love the phone, but they're having a lot of difficulty getting a case for this one, it's very difficult to get a case for this unique style phone, so they should have given. So, let's just peel this once this comes out so here it is and again guys uh. This is uh technically dual similar supports, but only one physical sim and the second sum is sort of easy, so got to be. You've got to know about that. So this is how it looks.

So this is how it is folded, and the big thing is that uh, the screen is a lot bigger. Six point: two three inches again: watch the other video I'll leave the link of that one where I compared it with the fold one and also watch my fold once review that I had posted after using it for 27 or 28 days. So here is the device and again uh like the fold one: it's like two phones sandwiched together uh, we have the speaker vent over here, also a secondary noise cancellation microphone and over here we have the volume rocker. This is the fingerprint, come the power on off button and bottom we have the USB type-c port main microphone, and it's that second speaker that you're having- and this is the hinge- and I would definitely say the hinge- is a lot better on this fold too. Compared to the fold, one uh feels a lot better back.

We have a triple camera setup. All are actually 12 megapixel uh. But again I would say the camera is good enough, but not as good as the note 20 ultra with that 108 megapixel. Yes, I don't want to get into megapixel account, but that has slightly better camera but again uh. The camera is not shabby on this, but if I compare it with the best of Samsung uh, but the funny part is that uh, this one and only the Samsung Galaxy m51 are the two smartphones that were launched by Samsung India that have the snapdragon processor.

This, of course, has the snapdragon, 865 plus and again guys uh, uh. Here is the sim tray. It will be a single uh, uh sim, that is a single NATO, sim uh, so uh storage is what you get. Storage is 256 gigabytes that you get on this one. So let's do one thing: let's try to actually power this on for the first time, and it says the galaxy z4 to 5g uh, we'll also go about the initial setup and again um.

Let me just show you, I think, so you can do the entire setup via the screen and here on the side. Here are the specs and guys again in India, also you're getting the one that is 5g ready. So, whenever 5g comes in 21 22, whatever we have 5g on this one, so let's just quickly set it up, and we can open this up also and do the setup of course it's really, really bright after just my camera, so yeah, let's just go there and again guys note this one uh be careful with almost all the Samsung phone. When you're setting up uh end user licensing, you have to have agreed privacy policy, but again regarding this diagnostic uh data. Do not check mark this on this or any other smartphone, even information linking because of privacy.

Don't do that, and please don't click this receipt of marketing information. I've seen this on a lot of what do you say: Samsung, smartphones now, but many people just click this last one, and it automatically checks mark that one, and it will try to push ads and stuff, so be careful, don't click that, while you're setting up, and again I'll just connect to my uh, what do you say network, and then we'll continue so guys? I have set up this device, but we won't go a lot over this one. So this is what it does. I just wanted to give you a general overview, so here the biggest thing is now. This outer screen is a lot bigger, and you can do a lot of things and this is sort of independent with the internal screen.

You can have its own wallpaper, whatever widgets here and, of course, when you open you get to this, as you can see, so this now acts like a tablet. It's a 7.6-inch AMOLED screen that we have. But the good thing is that this one internal screen is, it can go up to 120 hertz. If I go to display and if we go to motion smoothness as you can see, 120 hertz it can go uh. The outer is still 60 hertz uh.

That should have also been uh. What do you say? So? I would say the hinge is a lot better on this one, and this hinge. Actually, let me unlock with the fingerprint can stay in multiple positions like this uh, but if you notice this camera this juts out, so one thing I noticed is that if I keep it like this, I want to use it like a tablet. So yeah you have that so. But apart from that, I would say definitely much better in the feel in the hand feel from the first generation uh.

So what I'll do is guys uh I'll, try to uh use this one as my primary smartphone for the next couple of weeks and then come out with my fair, true review. What do I feel about this one? It's just trying to do it. Some updates, let's see, because the storage is simply not expandable. If you go to the device storage and about 36 GB says it's used out of that 256.
