iPhone X vs Pixel 2 vs iPhone 8 Plus Ultimate Battery Life Drain Test

What's up guys, Siobhan here back with a new video and in today's video I'll, be doing a battery drain test between the iPhone 8, the pixel 2 and the brand new iPhone 10 or X, depending on how you call it so in this video I'll be going after a series of applications that put these devices through the burning battery drain test and whichever one comes out victorious, leave your mind at ease if you're thinking about which device to choose only based on the batches. So in this video guys, I will definitely show you each 15, 30 20 minutes the progress, and everything like that. So you won't have to sit through the entire video. Now this took a long time, so I would appreciate if you drop a like on this video guys, please like and subscribe, and comment down below you think of the results, and if you want, you can just skip to the end to find the results. But you miss out on surprises but, as always guys enjoy drop a like, although any further ado. Let's start the video, yes guys.

So, let's start off with the devices that we have in front of us, so here's the iPhone 8 plus the XR 10 and the pixel 2. Now all these devices are on airplane mode, both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled. So we have a level playing field. What I decided to do was start off with a 4k YouTube video just to kick things off nice and smoothly. So what I'm going to do guys, as mentioned in the intro I'm gonna, stop the video at every milestone.

That I think is like a good masculine like every 15 20 minutes, 30 minutes 40 minutes are our two or three hours stuff like that. So the 15-minute mark the iPhone 8 was a 98%, the iPhone X 100% and surprisingly the pixel 2 was also at 100%, no bear in mind. Let me read out the William or that least of our packing, so the iPhone exhales, two thousand seven hundred and sixteen William or the eight plus has two thousand six hundred and ninety-one mill amperes. While the pixel has 2,700 William or even though it's a smaller device, its packs, a lot of punch so yeah bear that in mind. Oh, at the 30-minute mark we checked again, the iPhone 8 plus had 93% the iPhone 10 had 98% and the pixel too was still surprisingly sitting at a whopping 100% juice.

So that is very impressive. Knowing that these devices are way smaller than the iPhone 8 plus, but are still producing a better battery life experience. So, as I said before, you guys I'm gonna change again to another milestone, so sit back, relax enjoy and just take the surprises. Okay, guys, so I know one or mark we're gonna check again and, as you can see from here, the iPhone 8 plus had 81% the iPhone X had 91 percent and the pixel tool was sitting at a whopping 97%, only 2% off from one hour streaming. YouTube video, that's very good.

Comparing to the 8 1% that we have on the iPhone 8 plus what I decided to do now was watch some Instagram live stories stay in the search bar, let everything Lord! Let everything stream by itself- and we chilled there for around 30 minutes. So, let's just see what will happen at the 30-minute mark, the iPhone 8 plus was at 72%, the X or the 10 was at 85% and the pixel tool was at 90%. So it concealed the trend happening right here. It seems like the iPhone 10 wants to do a comeback, 100 be sure 100% sure if it will, but we'll find out later on, I went through airborne. I went through Netflix I watched some series, I was enjoying myself sitting here chilling, and then I decided to go through some benchmark test.

I went back to Instagram I'm, trying to give it a daily usage stuff and right now, at the three-hour mark, the iPhone 8 is at 39.10 is at 61, and the pixel tool is at 65%, which is just unbelievable to me, super impressive bearing the size, differences between the pixel and iPhone 8, plus now I decided to run the an tutu benchmark, run through some 3d graphics. He had to render a lot of stuff. He didn't really do much to the battery percentage, so I decided to open the cameras, let it focus let it kill some battery life. It wasn't doing much, so I decided to record some video in 4k on three devices. I turned on the flash on all three devices.

Also, it did some damage, but not enough. So then I decided to go ahead and play temper on now, as I can see we're at 3 hours and 33 minutes. So I know for our mark I'll check back in with you guys so at 4 hours guys. We can see right here that the iPhone 8 plus is really die. Node.

It has 12% the iPhone 10 had 41% and surprisingly, the pixel tool fell short 3.4 %, then is at 37%. So while I was browsing through his social media, apps I run some geek man short, rendering the batches the iPhone 8 plus decided that it couldn't handle it. It couldn't take the stress, and it was like to I'm, older I, know. I can't do this I don't know. I can't honestly can't believe that the eighth flush with this big, this big old phone right here, couldn't survive those attacks that we throw at it all three devices same face the same time, same pressure where the A+ was just too tired, I couldn't manage, and I just stood on the wireless charger.

So then I decided to watch some more Netflix and chill, not literally but then I decided to play some more games and I just really tried to burn out these batches I run the 3d renderings again, and it just didn't really do much so at the 5 hour and 30 minute mark here that the pixel to decided that it wanted to leave as well I guess it got bored, and it died at 5 hours and 26 minutes now could I'm simply let this video run out and keep the iPhone X running, but it was kind of overheating. Just like the picture too overheated a lot of times and I had to stop the video and restart, so I decided to end it off right there, and we actually have our winner, which is the iPhone 10. So the iPhone 10 came in first and the picture to that at 5 hours and 26 minutes the A+ that at 4 hours and 31 minutes. Sir, at this point pick your poison. Let me know what you think: you'll go for a based on battery life and do you think any software fixes could improve your? Let me know down below in the comment section.
