So the anticipated iPhone 12 is coming ever nearer, and we can't wait until the iPhone 12 launch event date. We have this week heard some more news of the full iPhone 12 names for all four models, including an iPhone 12 mini. So here is my latest news about the Apple iPhone, 12 release date and price, with my latest iPhone 12 review of designs and specs. But anyway, with that event done, it can only mean the iPhone 12 launch date is around the corner. As the iPhone launch is getting ever closer, we are getting more leaks quickly, so I've decided to do two iPhone 12 videos a week now. So the biggest news that we've just heard is all the confirmed names of all four iPhone 12 models. We've also heard news of a new wireless charger for the iPhone 12 as well. Again, I have got you guys.

My latest renders and concepts to show to you. We have found out this week or now, every half a week for all of you, apple fanboys and girls, for the iPhone 12. So, since the iPhone 11 there's been lots of iPhone, 12 leaks given, and if you want all the previous details check out my other iPhone 12 videos on this channel, they are worth a watch to get the latest leaks. So, let's start with those iPhone 12 names, so a reliable leaker love to dream has revealed the names for the iPhone 12 models. For a long time. We have split the four iPhone 12 models into two categories called the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Pro.

The leak shows that the 5.4 inch iPhone 12 will now actually be called the iPhone mini. So this is a first for an iPhone. We have had other such naming conventions as the normal number, an s, a pro, a max SC and r and a few other names as well. However, we have never had a mini. The name is definitely fitting, as everything apple pro showed us with the smaller iPhone 12 dummy earlier this year, that's in fact smaller than the new iPhone SE.

In fact, the body size sits between the iPhone new SE and the old SC, which was based on the iPhone 5 design, yet you're getting a 5.4-inch screen instead of a 4-inch screen like the old SC or a 4.7-inch screen on the new SE. The other names have also been revealed that the normal 6.1 inch iPhone what we were calling the iPhone 12 max. However, it will just be called the iPhone 12, and it is believed this model will sell the most. Removing the max name of the model will certainly help with one of the pro model names talking about the pro models. The 6.1 inch pro model will just be called the iPhone 12 Pro. Then the 6.7 iPhone 12 will be called the iPhone 12 Pro max, as we thought originally. The other news we have seen this week is from Jordan khan, where it looks like he is showing the new iPhone 12 wireless charger.

In my last video, I showed you guys an iPhone 12 chassis, where we could see some magnets right in the middle of the chassis, and we believed that the wireless Apple charger would be used with these magnets. It is believed that the wireless charging pad will be similar to the one you find in an Apple Watch where the charging pad magnetically sticks to the round charger on the back, so that next upcoming October iPhone event. We have been informed that the event will be happening on week commencing October, the 12th we advise that another apple product might be announced with it. So this could be the first Apple Silicon chip mac, then about a week later, we're expecting to be able to get our hands on the iPhone 12 mini and the normal iPhone 12. So that would be week commencing the 19th of October.

However, we have been informed, and it's quite understandable due to the pandemic, the pro models of the iPhone 12s will be coming out in November time, but no exact date has been confirmed yet, as I have said in my previous videos, this isn't the first time apple have announced an iPhone as an event and for the actual release of the phone to come out a month, or even two months later, like with the iPhone 10 or x, whatever you want to call it so that giveaway I mentioned earlier to be in for a chance to get the iPad 8th gen in that giveaway, make sure you hit the subscribe button first followed by the bell. I'm going to do a recap, like I do in all my other iPhone 12 videos of everything we know about the iPhone 12 models, specs and price. So, let's start with the iPhone 12 mini.

This is the smallest iPhone that is coming out this year. It has a 5.4 inch, OLED display with a resolution of 2340 by 1080. It also has a 60 hertz refresh rate panel as well inside it. There is four gigs of ram, and then you have a choice of either 128 gigabytes or 256 gigabyte storage options. We have now got rid of that base, 64 gigabyte option, and it starts at 128, gigs, so good on apple for doing that.

At the same time as well, we have that new a14 bionic. What is in the new iPad Air 4 and at the same time, for the first time we will get 5g connectivity inside an iPhone. The body itself will be made out aluminum and there will be a dual camera set up similar to the iPhone 11, but this time the lenses will be different inside for battery. We will get a 2227 William battery size and the base model will be coming in at 699 us dollars for that 128 gigabyte storage option. The next model is the normal iPhone 12, and this time it comes with a 6.1 inch OLED display at 2532 by 1170 and has a refresh rate of 60 hertz. This is very similar to the normal iPhone 11 that we have at the moment, except for you're, getting an OLED display instead of that liquid retina.

What is an LCD on top as well? We get four gigs of ram just like the iPhone 12 mini a choice again of 128 or 256 gigabyte storage options inside there is that a14 bionic with 5g connectivity again and the body just like the iPhone 12 mini, is made out of aluminum. We also get that dual camera setup very similar to the iPhone 11, but the actual lenses will be different this time and for battery size. Furthermore, we'll get a 2775 William battery. The base model is starting at 799 us dollars and that will get you the 128 gigabyte model. The next model is the pro territory models.

So this is the iPhone 12 Pro. It comes with again a 6.1 inch OLED display at 2532 by 1170 pixels, and they will either come with a 60 or 120 hertz refresh rate on the actual screen, and this is still up for debate. However, you will get six gigs of ram inside it again. You'll have the choices of 128 or 256, but you'll also get the choice of 512 gigabyte storage options for this iPhone, you get the a14 bionic with 5g connectivity, but the actual frame for this body of this phone is made out of stainless steel. This time we will also get a triple camera setup and a LIDAR sensor as well.

The battery inside this is similar to the normal iPhone 12, where it's a 2775 William battery size. This base model will be starting at 999 us dollars, and this will get you the 128 gigabyte model. The fourth and last model are the iPhone 12 Pro max, and it comes with a 6.7 inch OLED display at 2778 by 1280 pixels, and again it will have either a 60, hertz or 120 hertz. It has six gigabytes of ram again the choice of 128, gigabytes, 256, gigabytes or even 512 gigabytes storage options. It has that same a14 bionic with 5g connectivity and just like the normal iPhone 12 Pro you get the stainless steel frame body.

Again we get that triple camera setup and LIDAR sensor on the back and this time the battery will be 3687 Williams inside it. The base model for this model starts at 1099 us dollars, and this will buy you the 128 gigabyte model for ports on all the iPhones. They will feature a lightning connection. Not an USB apple still believe that many iPhones require a lightning connection at the moment, because there are still many accessories that require that. However, though, inside the box of the new iPhone 12, you will get a lightning cable to USB c end and also, as I have mentioned, and I've rambled on before, and I'm not going to do it this time.

That is, you will not be getting a charger inside the box with that cable and, at the same time as well, now cabled AirPods either. Finally, it's also worth noting that this year, all four iPhones will be ip68 at four meters of depth. So this means, if you're going to go away with your iPhone, and you chuck it into a swimming pool. It can survive up to four meters of depth clean water up to 30 minutes before any serious damage happens to the phone. However, I wouldn't really try doing this watch.
