iPhone 12 Pro vs 11 Pro vs XS SPEED Test! A14 Bionic DELIVERS!

What's up guys everything apple pro here. Finally, we have the 12 pro in hand now it's time to put the speed to the test. So if you were looking at the 12 pro, but you had an 11 pro or a 10s, how much faster is the Apple A14 bionic apple says it has 40 more transistors 11.8 billion over the 8.5 in the 11 pro and 6.9 billion in the Apple A12 bionic. So, just based on the merits of speed alone, will you notice a difference upgrading from any of these? Let's go ahead and run through the paces. All the tests there's a lot to go through here. One thing that does stand out is the design.

So, regardless of the speed you hold it, it feels different blocky I've been holding the rounded edges for quite some time, but now let's go ahead and see how much faster is the iPhone 12 Pro now the Apple A14 bionic constitutes one of the biggest jumps in iPhone processing power. Ever it's huge 2.99 gigahertz on the fastest two cores, six gigabytes of ram, which I'm hoping will do a number on the multitasking. As that's always been a problem in the past now, let's begin with our synchronized speed test, although not too scientific. This will give us a good idea just how much faster the iPhone 12 Pro is when it comes to launching apps. So this is a mix-up between some lighter stuff social media.

Many of the apps you'll, be using throughout your day and through some heavier ones in between such as among us, got asphalt, 9 and Call of Duty and a quick disclaimer. The iPhone 12 Pro is still new. Many of the apps haven't been updated and optimized and not to mention the screen. Ratio is different, so things are looking a little squashed, but so far so good, it's powering through them chewing through the apps in round one- and I did forward things a little here, so you're not sitting through the slog a few notes on the 12 pro series, so the display the 6.1 inch display. I really like that extra little of real estate.

It makes it feel, like a far larger phone versus the old 5.8 inch format, and there is a tint to this display on the 12 pro slightly yellowish in comparison to the 11 pro or 10s. Now some users are saying it'll go away after a certain time. It's just because it's new, I'm not so sure, but it is a brighter display overall, looks fantastic, also, the boxy edges. I was concerned about the swiping, but it just feels so great man. I love this boxy design, anyways we're getting close to the end here on the 12 pro series, just some lighter apps and then curveball we're going to render some 4k video.

This is the same video across all devices minutes 4k, 60, HDR, video and using iMovie freshly updated. This is where those 40 extra transistors really came in handy on the 12 pro series, as well as that higher clock speed just chewing through that 4k 60, video and again this is the same one on all. You can visibly see that the iPhone 10s series was struggling here and 11 pro series throughout this video was constantly overheating, not sure what that's about anyways. We finished with a time of 2 minutes and 21 seconds on the 12 pro now watch this. This is where the 12 pro shines, thanks to the additional 2 gigabytes of ram, every single application that I opened after running that 4k video export was still pre-loaded.

In the background, I have never seen this on an iPhone. This is new apple has finally fixed the multitasking issue on the iPhone, and we finished with a staggering 28 seconds for round two on the iPhone 12 Pro. So, yes, you don't need 12, gigabytes, 20 gigabytes of ram on your smartphone six gigabytes with a very well optimized. Io's clearly can do everything you need it to. It can hold every application, at least on this one page in the background, after exporting a heavy 4k video.

Now, if I were upgrading from a 10s or an 11 pro series, this portion right here is what would sell me on that. The fact that my apps can actually stay open. No matter which other heavier apps or processes that I run, you can go right back into those older apps and have them be exactly where you left off. That is awesome. Now the iPhone 10s finished the second lap, with a faster time of one minute and 17 seconds, then the 11 pro 1 minute 30, due to the overheating issue, but wow the iPhone 12 Pro, what a speed demon.

I was not expecting this big of a change from the 10s to 11 pro last year, almost no difference whatsoever, so the Apple A14 is the real deal. You know the screen as durable as apple claimed, the water resistance as apple claimed and the processing power too, and that concludes the most exciting synchronized speed test. I've ever done using iPhones, let's cool these off moving on. Let's do some app launching so for the biggest difference testing the 10s versus 12 pro all apps closed and starting with the camera one two so a little faster on the 10s, even tick: took 1, 2, 12 pro and Apollo 1 2 12 pro by the way same Wi-Fi. I have a very spotty 5g connection, bigger one asphalt 9 on two, so this one considerably faster well, actually a couple seconds there and Minecraft one two so already ready to load, and the world is loaded faster by actually a wide margin here so ready to go.

While the tennis is still loading and running the startup test in three two one, so all are powering on at the same time, here all on iOS 14.1, actually blown away by the iPhone 12 Pro performance. I have never seen a first round like it on any other device. Of course, it starts up. First, then, the iPhone 10s and then the 11 pro all right. Let's get some numbers going and starting with geek bench 5 pro now, as per apple, the 12 pro has 40 more transistors than the 11 pro.

That translates to about 20 to 25 improvement in benchmarks, which is what we're seeing here. The 10s has a formidable 2500, actually surpassing most android phones on the market. Today, next up an tutu and over halfway through I'd like to test the temperatures of these devices, the hottest point on the 10s 95 degrees, the hottest point on the 11 pro 106 degrees and hottest point on the 12 pro 96 degrees. Here are those results 10s very formidable 11 pro likely, due to overheating very poor results, 12 pro very good. Actually, I've been having nothing but problems and overheating on my personal 11 pro max since updating iOS 14.

Hope they fix it, and here are the speed test results on Wi-Fi next to my amplify alien router steadily progressing as the Wi-Fi antennas become better, and here are the speed test results on cellular on the 12 pro. I did get a 5g signal slightly better than the 11 pro and that's better than the 10s next up biometrics. Let's test face ID on the slowest of the bunch, the 10s versus the 12 pro by the way the 10s has a faster unit than the 10 and the 12 pro is accelerated using the Apple A14 bionic. Let's see if there's a difference, one two exactly the same one, two exactly the same, considering the animation once again, one two, no difference, let's try with the screen on here, so it did register faster on the 12 pro once again, one two exactly the same that time and once more with the screen off one two, no difference: if Apple were to shorten the animation, it's likely, we could be seeing a little of a difference, but I'm not seeing one and there it is the Apple A14, with the five nanometer architecture it delivers. It blew me away with the performance.

I have never seen anything like it round, two with the extra two gigabytes of ram it just breezed past it. I have never seen a sub 30. Second score, incredible apple on all fronts, delivered on the 12 pro series. I can't wait to get my 12 pro max thanks for watching guys, peace.
