iPhone 12 Pro Max UNBOXING - IS BIGGER BETTER???

Hey guys, what's up its Carl here and iPhone 12 Pro max the one that I've been waiting for. This should be my daily driver. Finally, into the studio we've had every single iPhone 12 model come in. Of course, we just looked at the iPhone 12 mini. I will leave a little link up here for you to check out, but the 12 pro max is the largest iPhone that we can currently get so 6.7 inch display kind of quickly comparing boxes. You can even see it's slightly larger on the 12 pro max.

That makes sense. We will quickly get this out of the box and sliding this up and the model that we've got here is in white silver, and you can see the nice stainless steel banding around the outsides and just like on the 12 pro. So I'm bringing up my pacific blue model here, the exact same colorway options are available for the pro max, so we of course, have the silver slash. White, pacific, blue. We've still got the gold as well as graphite.

So my entire unboxing video, where I took a look at every single iPhone colorway options. I leave it linked up this way, curious to hear your thoughts on what your fave is, I'm still leaning towards the pacific. Blue. Personally, I will say, though, in the time that I have been using it, the banding around the outsides, even though it's super Luke super nice to feel it does collect so many fingerprints. I know that most of us will probably throw cases on it anyways, it's just kind of a shame, because I tend to rock my phones naked quickly off to the side.

The unboxing experience still the exact same so designed by California in apple user manuals, the one white apple sticker that you will get and, of course, the cable USB-C to lightning a. Sadly, no charging break I've ranted about this in previous videos. This is all you're going to get. You got to buy the dongle if you need it, and we'll put that off to that side, and we will quickly take off this white piece of plastic- that's impressive! It feels nice and hefty. Just like the 12 pro models all do and as this boots up, I will bring my older 11 pro max, which used to be my daily, and you can see it is slightly bigger.

The 12 pro max in overall form factor the new design. We, of course, have these straight and flat edges. I do enjoy that more. It's a bit more futuristic, a bit more modern in my opinion- and I don't know if this almost feels too big, or it's just because I did unbox the 12 mini. This is a huge, huge device.

It almost feels like I'm, holding a bit of a mini tablet or even an iPad Mini. It is massive. I tend to be partial to having the max size iPhones, but maybe because I've been using say the 12 pro it just feels so much bigger. Maybe I need a bit extra time to get used to it, and before we get into, I guess some differences we'll talk about price first, so 1099 us or 1529, Canadian, the priciest phone that you can get, and it thankfully does come with 128 gigs of base storage and quickly kind of comparing them. They do share a lot in common.

So, for example, the display super retina Dr, just the size difference so 6.7 against the 6.1 on the 12 pro we've got the a14 bionic chip on the inside and that silicon is kind of across the entire iPhone 12 lineup, so performance wise. It is identical, benchmarks, kind of blow everything away. Multitasking is nice and quick as you'd expect for the latest gen iPhone. It is lightning fast, the fastest iPhone that they've ever made no duh, because this device is now larger. Things like the notch, don't seem as big, even though it's still abnormally large for a smartphone.

When you compare say the 12 mini, it has the same notch size. This seems so much larger on a smaller device and that's obviously just perception and a lot of people ask. Can you use the 12 pro even the 11 pro max with one hand, it does get a bit hard trying to reach over to the top left side top right side of the device? I would generally recommend using two hands for a device. This large MagSafe accessories. I think, look a bit better on the larger model.

So, for example, I've got this new Apple Wallet, we'll slide that into the middle you've got some extra spacing around the outside and when you're using the phone you aren't kind of hitting it accidentally. Unfortunately, that isn't the same for the 12 mini, where it's kind of flush with the phone and the key difference between the 12 pro max and the 12 is actually found in the camera sensor and that's on the wide lens, it's even better on the larger pro max, so it's actually larger, which should allow for better low light shots. But it also has sensor shift and that's actually very similar, to say my DSLR, my mirrorless camera, where the actual sensor is slightly stabilized, so that should really help with obviously stabilization keeping some of your shots still. So that helps with not only video but of course, once again in those low light shots where keeping your phone as still as possible is important. I'm still working on my 30-day review of the iPhone 12 lineup, so stay posted I'll, have a ton of sample footage, but I'm curious: would you pay the extra money for the extra size on the 12 pro max? I think one of the biggest benefits that a lot of people don't really chat about is the battery, because we have a larger device.

You obviously have a larger battery on the inside. This should easily last you a day and a half, and I can't really say the exact same for the standard 12 pro I find by the end of the night, around 10 11 p. m. I'm obviously on my phone the entire day, I can only get around 10 left but of course, I'll chat about that more. In depth in my full review but curious what you guys think of the 12 pro max, we now have every single iPhone available in this studio, and we'll quickly line them up here.

So, of course, the 12 mini the 12 12 pro 12 pro mac. So if you want to see a video that kind of compares them all we'll talk about the key differences, let me know down below in the comments hope you guys enjoyed this video. I know we've had so much in October to cover more AIDS incoming in the next week, so stay posted. I will catch the rest of you in one of those: peace.
