Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra vs iPhone 12 Pro Max! | VERSUS

Hi welcome to this channel. My name is Sam, and today we are going to compare Xiaomi's Milan Volta with Apple's iPhone 12 Pro max. We are comparing both phones in terms of display performance, camera design and battery, so stay tuned and find out which phone is, in our opinion, the better phone. If you'd like to see more videos like this feel free to subscribe and hit the notification bell, it starts right away with our review. Let the facts speak. The iPhone 12 Pro max is equipped with apple's a14 bionic chip.

The phone has six gigabyte ram and the individual models offer different storage capacities.128, 256 and 512 gigabyte are available. Third capacity, unfortunately, cannot be expanded as it is typically for Apple iPhone devices. Apple's iPhone has always been exemplary for great performance, but let's see what Xiaomi has to offer. The Milan also uses the Qualcomm snapdragon 8008 chips with the power efficient, 5 nanometer process technology. It offers 12 gigabyte ram and has a storage capacity of 256 gigabytes.

The storage capacity, unfortunately cannot be expanded. Qualcomm's latest ship, the snapdragon 888 versus apple's leadership, the a14 bionic, the mi 11 ultra- definitely has the advantage of more war power, but apple knows how to get the most out of the hardware. Is that going to be enough to beat the, though? Let's take them into the benchmark tests and find out the an tutu benchmark is benchmarking the performance of both phones. The tests are divided in three phases: a performance test of the ram it tests, how the device is handling, two-dimensional, graphics and an endurance test of how the device is handling 2d graphics, even though we have two different operating systems and the test is therefore not comparable, still impressive, high performance from Xiaomi. The second test is from geek bench.

This app will measure the performance of our smartphones in terms of CPU and GPU. Well, the iPhone is strong, much stronger than Xiaomi a clear win for apple in this case. So we have that operating system dilemma again. We have two different systems and the tests for Mobutu, like I already mentioned, isn't a representative benchmark in this case. But since each phone's got one of the tests, we tend to call this category a draw.

But what would you do? Let us know in the comments below for now. We have no other choice. Then call this a draw display. The Xiaomi, me 11 ultra features a 6.81 inch, two colored display with a 1440p quad HD with illusion. It uses an AMOLED screen which creates very natural colors.

The m11 ultra therefore measures 17.29 centimeter diagonally with a pixel density of 515 PPI. The display also has an adaptable, 120hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1700 nits and features Dolby Vision, not the first time that we see this display next up the one from apple. The iPhone 12 Pro max has a 6.7 inch display with a 1284p resolution. The 6.7 inch display, therefore, measures 17, centimeter diagonally, with a pixel density of 458 PPI. The iPhone solid screen creates, as usual, very natural colors.

The refresh rate on the iPhone 12 Pro max is 60 hertz, as you saw. This is pretty one-sided. The m11 ultra outmatches, the iPhone in terms of resolution, pixel density size and since the iPhone peaks at 1200 nits, also in brightness. Most importantly, the iPhone does not offer an adaptable, refresh rate of 120 hertz. So a clear point for Xiaomi battery the charm mi 11 has 5 000 William hours.

The iPhone 12 for max has around 3 687 million powers. The Xiaomi features an incredible 67 watt, fast charging and wireless charging. The iPhone, on the other hand, only offers 20 watt fast and 15 watt wireless charging, the mi 11 ultra also has the reverse wireless charging feature. The differences in battery size and charging capabilities are pretty large on paper. Let's see how they perform the mi level.

Ultra is the absolute charging star, while the iPhone is a king of endurance. Well, the Xiaomi can be charged in around 39 minutes with or without the cable, which is a big advantage over its competitor. That needs almost 2 hours to fully charge in terms of endurance. On the other hand, the Xiaomi still has a lot to improve here. The iPhone shines with an impressive 9 hours and 43 minutes, beating its counterpart by almost one and a half hours, and even though the charging capabilities of the MIA level ultra are certainly impressive.

For us, endurance is still the key. Therefore, it's clear that the point has to go to the iPhone 12 Pro max camera. The iPhone 12 Pro max has a triple rear camera system. It features a 12 megapixel ultra-right, a 12 megapixel wide and a 12 megapixel telephoto camera. The front camera resolution is also 12 megapixels.

The iPhone 12 Pro max records, 4k videos at a maximum of 60 frames per second, and, of course it has image stabilization for video. The 12 pro max also has a sensor shift optical image stabilization for its wide angle. Camera apple knows how to get the best out of their camera system. Let us take a look. What Xiaomi has hidden in that huge camera bump, the Xiaomi mi 11 holders, is equipped with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50, megapixel wide angle, a 48 megapixel ultra-wide angle and a 48 megapixel telephoto camera its front.

Camera has a resolution of 20 megapixels, the mi 11 ultra records, 8k videos at a maximum of 24 frames per second and, of course, features optical image. Stabilization. Both phones have good camera systems but which one is actually the better system. Let's take it to our camera test and, let's find out which one does a better job. Now it's time to take a closer look at the performance of the camera systems.

We start off as usual, with the pictures taken in daylight conditions at first. Both pictures look great. The iPhone's picture is a little brighter zoomed into the chart. The mi 11 ultra looks great. Everything is in focus with clean contours.

The iPhone, on the other hand, looks good, but clearly has some image compressions still. The image has more contrast compared to the mi 11 ultra, since the focus is set on the chart, the parts that are closer to the camera are less in focus, so it's just natural that the plant in Xiaomi's picture is out of focus. The huge sensor makes that shallow depth of field possible the planet apple's picture looks similar in focus as the shard. Okay. Let's now take a look at the nighttime condition.

Pictures again, the iPhone 12 for max looks brighter, let's zoom in this time, even though the iPhone has more grain. Its image has more details and again more contrast than the mi 11 ultras image. The plant also again has more details in apple's photo, but the shallow depth of field again makes the plant appear out of focus in terms of the front camera, there's no real difference, quality rise, except maybe the color, which seems more natural in Xiaomi's image. The Xiaomi mi 11 ultra has a 5 volt optical, a 10-fold hybrid and an incredible high 120 volt digital zoom, while the 12 pro max has a 5 volt optical and a 12 volt digital zoom, okay, so thoughts are good. Now, let's switch from photo feature to the video feature to find out which of these two phones takes better videos.

What you can see- and here is the quality of the Xiaomi mi 11 ultra video recording. We set it to the highest possible quality. Let's see what the competitor sounds and looks like what you can see, and here is the quality of Apple's iPhone 12 Pro max video recording. We set it to the highest possible video quality. Let's see what the competitor sounds and looks like in terms of sound.

The iPhone sounds a bit cleaner than the mi 11 ultra, but the 8k and the better saturated image let Xiaomi device look better. The iPhone's image quality is too over saturated and appears too bright. Let's crop in a bit in post to see how that looks like cropped in two times, you'll see that the AK on Xiaomi lets the image still look really sharp, whereas the iPhone loses sharpness 10 times scoped in both look as usual pixelated, but there are still a little more details, recognizable and me 11 ultras image, while the iPhone 12 Pro max is only able to shoot slow motion meters in full HD with up to 240 frames per second, the Xiaomi mi 11 ultra clearly defeats the iPhone with its 1920 frames per second and 1080p okay, so the iPhone 12 Pro max has a great camera system. But in this comparison the Xiaomi mi 11 ultra was able to win against the iPhone. Its big sensor is convincing because its shallow depth of field creates the look of an extra camera without adding blur to the image through software.

Okay. Well, in nighttime, conditions, the iPhone was better but other than that. It's a clear point for the Xiaomi mi 11 ultra design, the iPhone 12 Pro max has a glossy stainless steel frame and a matte glass finish on the back. Typically, for apple, it has a very high end, look and feel to it. The turbo cameras are well positioned in the upper left corner on the back of the phone.

The smartphone weighs 228 gram. It uses apple's, lightning connector and is ip68 rated, so it's water and dust resistant, and it is supposed to be four times more drop resistant than previous models. The iPhone uses face recognition technology to unlock the phone, the face ID as usual works perfect at daylight, and also good in a week-light environment. It's always nice to see apple's design. Next up comes Charles design approach.

Let's see what they came up with the Xiaomi mi 11 ultra is not just a name. It's a model. The phone has gorilla glass vectors in the front, a ceramic backside and everything is framed by aluminum. The camera bump is situated at the top of the backside, and it is eye-catchingly huge. The reason for this are the three pretty big camera lenses and a 1.1-inch secondary screen. Its main purpose is to function as a notification display to show time and battery status.

Even when the phone is upside down. It also works as a screen for taking better selfies and music controller. The smartphone weighs 234 gram. It has an USB connector at the bottom and if you are an acoustic junkie, Cherie has got you covered on another end, though its dual speakers are manufactured by the experts of Harman Kardon. The phone also uses an end screen fingerprint sensor and AI face recognition, technology to unlock the phone and, unlike the base version, the mi 11 alters, is also ip68 water and dust resistant.

Again we have two huge phones and again with different design approaches. The main difference between the phones is again the huge camera bump that sticks out of Xiaomi's device. Also, Xiaomi has more rounded corners, whereas the iPhone has clear edges and flat surfaces. The material that was used also differs while apple uses, stainless steel for its frame and a glass on the back Xiaomi uses an aluminum frame and ceramic on the back still both feel equally valuable. It therefore comes down to personal taste.

We think that apple has the overall more thought through the aesthetic which makes the iPhone seem even more valuable. We are no fan of that huge camera bump. The back display is a nice touch, but still we go for the iPhone which takes home the point in this category. Let us know in the comments below, if you agree with us on this matter or not conclusion: okay, let's find out which phone actually performed better in this comparison, video the display comparison was the first category which the Xiaomi MIA 11 ultra was able to score iPhone slack of 120 hertz, refresh rate needs to be fixed in their next lineup. The second category was a draw, since each phone scored the win in one of the two benchmark tests.

The huge camera bump on the mile ultra made it possible to score another point. It had to be good for something. Let's move on to the design category. In our opinion, the more thought through approach from Apple made, it scores this point that brings us to the last category. So far, Apple's iPhone 12 Pro max is behind the me11 ultra, but in terms of battery the combination of soft and hardware and Apple's device, let the iPhone last longer, even though the battery is in size significantly smaller than Charles dead levels also score, and we have three points on each side.

This comparison video, therefore ended with a draw. Naturally, we review more than these five categories covered here.
