iPadOS 14.3 Follow Up: Battery Issues?

So, what is going on guys, nanoface73 here with another video, and today I wanted to follow up on apple's latest release of iPadOS 14.3, because I have had some battery issues that I wanted to bring to light. So, let's get right into it guys so, like I mentioned, and you guys saw my last video iPadOS 14.3 released a couple of days ago, and it was a pretty welcome, update about apple fitness plus, it brought a new tab to Apple TV. So you can access the Apple TV plus originals a lot quicker. It added app clips. Finally, some of the things that we were promised from the original iPad, OS 14 update and iOS 14 updates, but the one thing that I want to talk to you guys about isn't really about those features. It's more so about battery, because a lot of people used to mention for the older updates like 14 14.1, that battery performance actually decreased right and for me, I didn't really notice it a because I'm mostly plugged in all the time and b. I guess my battery performance was okay right, but what I wanted to do was I wanted to test out the actual battery performance fully through so woke up this morning started using the iPad at 100 at around nine.

You know a little after nine o'clock. Now, yes, I was facetiming the whole time. Yes, I was connected to the magic keyboard the whole time, but basically my battery died out in less than three hours. Now I don't know what the allotted time is that apple's giving people for you know FaceTime calls video web surfing, but I guarantee you it's longer than three hours right now. This could be a couple of things.

It could be the software itself, so iPad, OS 14.3 just isn't optimized that well quite yet, or it could be the fact that I have a 2018 iPad Pro, or it could be a combination of both right so having a two-year-old battery or one and a half year old battery isn't amazing because it's not obviously top-notch. It's not brand-new battery degrades at a certain rate, depending on how much you charge it. What type of charger you use, but at the same time I feel like I should be getting more than three hours of battery time or screen on time or active face time, and that's just what I'm getting right now, and it's kind of disappointing now. I do want to test it later on, especially with the new update 14.4 beta that just released today so definitely subscribe. If you guys want to see some of the new stuff that apple's releasing already because Apple's been on a tear with these updates, you know coming pretty much almost every other day it seems like, but it's just apple kind of trying to help make our lives a little easier and now yes, there is that argument that why release something, that's not ready and why release something that needs to be updated over and over and over again, but that's just part of the system, guys that's what makes Apple's ecosystem and users so happy because they find issues, and they fix it pretty rapidly right, but with 14.3. The follow-up has to be that battery performance is a little low.

Maybe that's just for me, but other than that all the bug fixes that they promised right. So the notifications coming in are working um. The laggy keyboard is now not laggy any more right. The notifications and your messages are working and all those things just are starting to click a little better, and they did like. I said ringing app clips.

They brought in fitness plus, which I tried, and it's actually it's kind of nice. It's pretty cool, just a way to gamify working out, especially from home, and overall I'm happy with it. Just the performance of the battery is a little disappointing, especially if the world does plan on opening up again. I need this thing to last longer than three hours without a charge right, but that's going to do it for this video, hopefully you guys enjoyed. I know it was a quick one.

Furthermore, I just wanted to give you guys my ins and outs in my thought, process and kind of my experience with this new update but, like I said, stay tuned because I'm downloading 14.4 as we speak, and I'm going to show you guys exactly. What's going on with that one in a later video. But don't forget to like comment subscribe and until next time.
