OnePlus 8T Unboxing - Not Bad!

Okay, so I'm here unboxing the brand new just announced OnePlus 8t. This is the media kit, so it should have some other goodies inside it. So let me stop talking and get inside the box all right. So we have the box here, it's a pretty long box. This is kind of one plus his signature and let me lift off this lid and then looks like we do have some paperwork and some stuff inside here. I don't need to show you that and boom here's, the phone and ooh.

Also look at this warp charge is 65, so it looks like it's going to have a very, very fast charger inside here. So let me get everything out of the box all right. So this is the new 65 watt power supply here for the at, so this should be able to get this thing fully charged up from zero to 100 in about 39 minutes or so. We'll definitely test this out for my review and then, of course we do have that familiar red USB c to USB c cable right here. But now, let's take a look at the phone, so let me get this thing unwrapped and boom.

Here we go and here's our first look at the OnePlus 8t, and it looks really cool. So this is the aquamarine green, and it also comes in lunar silver, but I'm definitely liking this color and on the back you can see this quad camera setup, and I'm liking. The array like how they have this organized but yeah you do get a wide angle, camera an ultra-wide, a macro camera and also a monochrome camera. So no telephoto here, but the main camera does come in at 48 megapixels. So you will have some room to play around with, especially for cropping in on your photos and then the front-facing camera is coming in at 16 megapixels and here are a couple of shots.

I took real quick with this phone just to kind of show you a sneak peek at the quality that you can get from this, and if it's anything like the know, OnePlus 8 series, I'm expecting some good results and on the sides, you'll find the power button and also this very convenient toggle right here. That OnePlus always adds to be able to kind of control the volume of your phone and then also see you'll, find the volume controls on the other side on the bottom. You'll find the USB port and one of the speakers' sim card tray, and this does not have a micro, SD card expansion slot all right. So let me get this thing powered on and let me go through the setup process. Okay, so I got the phone set up here and one thing you will notice is this always on display, which I think is customizable, so you can do some things with it, but I'll test that out here soon, but this also does have a fingerprint scanner underneath the display as well, which is pretty fast and something else is fast, is the screen itself because it does run at 120 hertz, and this is a 6.55 inch. AMOLED display and OnePlus has definitely been delivering when it comes to screen quality recently, and this definitely continues with that, and this is running their latest oxygen, OS 11, which is running on top of android 11.

So you can see some differences in the UI, and you have different type of uh. You know icons and things like that. That really add a fresh look, so I haven't really spent a lot of time messing with this, yet so I'll definitely see what my thoughts are about, this new oxygen OS on top of it and as far as the specs inside this phone, this does have the Qualcomm snapdragon 865 and also 12 gigabytes of ram and 256 gigabytes of storage. It also comes with 5g and also a 4500mah battery inside this to power. Everything and really I'm going to be testing out the camera system.

On this thing so um, the ultra-wide camera is the widest they've ever made coming in at 123 degrees. It has an approved nights cape mode and also portrait mode, video now and some other things going on with the camera. So that's going to be my number one thing that I'm testing in the review, but wait. I almost forgot about the cases that came inside the box too, so the most important thing is the unboxing of the course. So, let's take a look at these cases and this first case is their sandstone case, which has that very nice texture feel to it very drippy, and I think day2d would be happy with this color, but yeah very nice looking case, but this is the one I'm most interested in.

This is their quantum bumper case, and this just looks awesome. Look at this has like a 3d effect to it. It does feel you know a little like plastic compared to the other one, but definitely it looks good. You know what this is going to be the one I'm rocking yep. I think I'm going with this one and so yeah.

You can pre-order this today and this will officially launch on October the 23rd and also too, this will be costing 750 us dollars, but for right now, I'm about to close things out so make sure you do like this video, if you like it subscribe. If you want to- and I will have my review and also some camera comparisons coming up soon, but until then thanks for watching this video- and I will catch you later- peace.
