iPad vs Chromebook: Which is BEST For Students?

Hey guys bring in here and if you're a student looking for a laptop alternative, you might look towards the base iPad or the Chromebook, and you may be wondering to yourself he's ringing, which is best for me. Well I'm, gonna, answer exactly that: I'm going to dive into the advantages of peach, and we'll find out a winner at the end. Hopefully, let's get to this video. So let's begin with the advantages that iPad has over the Chromebook, and it begins with the fact the iPad it's just awesome for entertainment and content, consumption as a whole and what I mean by that is, if you're someone who never does any work and procrastinates half the time, the iPad is perfect for you, okay, Chuck, sir sighs. No steering is a complete workaholic. We all love to chill now then, and the iPad being a tablet.

First experience is a pretty huge advantage when you're chilling for one the pass display blows away. Anything any Chromebook has to offer hands-down I mean the colors are great. The viewing angles are decently. Brightness is adequate just on the whole just getting a great package, and it's just perfect for those cheeky surround, bite and chill sessions. If you, if you know what I mean most importantly, though, the apps are available on the iPad are just ways superior to their Chromebook counterparts.

In fact, you could actually do some proper gaming on this iPad. Okay, you can play for my and Minecraft. You know the games, the cool kids play yeah I, don't know what I'm doing in total, you're scaring an all-round entertainment machine and, honestly, that is a huge priority to a lot of students, including me. Moving on to the second reason, I want to delve into the inclusion of the Apple Pencil, because this is what single-handedly changed the iPad for me now. I know a lot of students think that keyboard is a must-have on any computer, but honestly with the iPad, the Apple Pencil is they must-buy.

In fact, he little cheeky fact for you guys came it's been statistically proven that writing things actually helps. You remember so yeah if you want to become smarter, stop using your hands for other things, kids and actually write things down. There is a reason why students prefer to type though, but honestly, the Apple Pencil brings the best of both balls for one you're, actually remembering things because you're not mindlessly typing things away, but also you don't have to bring around stashes of paper and constantly fear losing them. Instead, everything you need is in this compact device and writing on the iPad itself is a pretty awesome experience for one. The pencil feels great in the hand, but also because there is a zero lag as soon as you start writing away.

The iPad keeps up which gives it a natural feel and yes, I, know I'm making it seem like Apple invented the stylus. But honestly the lack of latency is what puts the pencil with the Apple Pencil apart from the competition. In fact, this is the best stylus you can buy hands down. Oh, and also it's a huge flex like 100% air will help you pool girls because they would love to get a feel of that pencil hair. Ok that sounded better my hair moving on my final point about the iPad is the ability to do more and what I mean by that is that the iPad is just a way more capable machine.

Not only does it have incredible performance for its price, but the iPad also has professional apps that you could possibly experiment around with. For example, lumen fusion is a great editing app that a lot of YouTube is used. In fact, I could even use lumen fusion because it is very comparable to Final Cut Pro and the same goes for the dozens of applications available on the App Store, such as procreate and affinity photo now, let's people to the advantages with the Chromebook, and we begin with, of course, the price, because, if there's one reason Chromebooks are so dang popular, it's because the dirt cheap I mean the simple fact is that you can get a Chromebook for around $200, whereas that base iPad is through hundred and $29, which is a pretty decent saving. Now, yes, I do know that Apple offers a student discount for these iPads and also the iPads themselves go and sell. Pretty often, but I assure you, you will never be able to find one for as low as a Chromebook talking about being cheaper.

My next point is that the Chromebook has no additional accessories requires you get a traditional clamshell design. You get a keyboard, you get a trackpad, and also you get something pretty radical called ports. Many ports, because you see, if you want to buy that base iPad, you probably have to buy that Apple pencils that I highly recommended dollars- oh, and also that small keyboard that works really well with the iPad $150, and also the app that works really well. The Apple Pencil, notability, $10, oh, and also the app that you might want to do some graphical designing on procreate. Another $10 Oh a newer fusion.

If you want to edit yes $30, oh the icing on top of all of this, don't we need dongles if you're going to be doing any sort of file transferring because the Lightning port is just useless, and so in total that comes down to a lot of monies, that I don't think a lot of people's have my final point on Chromebooks with the fast and secure updates. I can't emphasize enough how amazing it is that you get a perk, this cheap and yet it still comes with six years of updates. That is crazy. Now I can already hear Tim and John. You know the Apple fan was the back again because they theater complain that Saran, every Apple product comes with like six years of Abed's.

What are you all about? Every Apple products is built to last. It will last to tell you are talking nonsense. Well, now because I'm talking about the base I pad, which comes with the pretty old 810 fusion chips and since the iPhone 6s and pretty much every a nine part for that matter, is at the end of its life, its kind of safe to assume that the iPhone 7 and the a10 products will follow suit in about two years now. Yes, there is a chance that I call my squeeze out another year out of the a-10, because it is still a very capable chip, but planned obsolescence is a thing and well Tim wants your money like he wants all of your money so which one is perfect for you. Well, it comes down to two demographics.

He was somebody who is looking to get a bit creative. If it's something who's looking to explore, it's a graphical design or photo editing or video editing. Then hundred percent get the iPad. The iPad is just the way better buy. But if you're somebody who is a more frugal, if you're somebody who just wants the computer, that does the basics, then yeah the Chromebook works totally fine.

Yes, it is quite limited in what it does, but what it actually is capable of it does pretty. Well, though, I do have a little biased tip for you guys if you're willing to go used or refurbish, which I highly recommend doing the iPad becomes a whole different ballpark, for example that same $349 for that base. iPad gets you a 20-17 iPad Pro from the user market, and there are key advantages with a pro iPad, such as 120 Hertz. Yes, you heard me where I hide refresh rate display absolutely battery stuff quad speakers which I can't live without now, like I need quad speakers, it honestly makes a difference and also a laminated display, which essentially means that Apple Pencil experience will be that much better and if $350 is still too much for you, then I recommend going for the 2018 base iPad. In fact, the 2018 base iPhone has a lot of identical features with the 2019 model, and they even share the same a10 fusion SOC.

But, unlike the $349 price tag for the current base model, this model can be found for as cheap as a hundred and twenty dollars. That is insane valley. I've also seen some and deals with the Apple Pencil included for one hundred and eighty dollars, in which case just don't hesitate, throw your money by that medially and be a happy person, because that is one of the best deals I've seen in a long time so yeah, if you're a bargain hunter I highly recommend going through that route, because, let's be honest as much as I love Chromebooks, the iPad is the better product. I can't lie now before you guys disappear. Furthermore, I want you guys to do something for me for the real ones that mean it.

This finds the video. Please put the word bananas in the comments below yes, it sounds quite random and a bit crazy, but trust me. It will show me that you're one of the ones that made it to the end, because audience retention is pretty part of this channel and on that note, I'll leave. It here.
