iPad Air: why I'm going back to the Pro (2020 comparison)

Welcome back to the channel, I've been using the iPad Air as my primary iPad for the past week, and I absolutely love it, but as much as I enjoy using it, I'm going to return it and switch back to using my 12.9-inch iPad Pro. So in this video, I want to tell you why the pro is the best iPad. For me, I'll also tell you why I think it's probably not a good idea to buy any iPad right now, so stick around be sure to subscribe to the channel and comment hashtag. I tablet on any of my videos and you could win AirPods when the channel reaches 5 000 subscribers or when an iPad Mini when the channel reaches 10 000 subscribers. So, firstly, why is the iPad error the best iPad? Well, it's the best value for money. iPad.

I've ever used it's by far one of the most beautiful iPads, and I really love this green color, which is more like a pale green, metallic color than something as bright as the old iPods. It's not as vivid as the ads suggest, and I love that there's now more color options for the iPad than ever before. It feels like apple's finally brought some whimsy back into their product line. The air does not have face ID, which I kind of prefer because touch ID is so much more convenient than face ID with face ID. If the iPad is too far away from your face, you have to pick it up and bring it close to authenticate with face ID with touch ID.

All you have to do is reach out and put your thumb or whichever finger you registered onto the reader, and it unlocks instantly. Also, with face ID, you can't bypass the lock screen, but with touch ID. If you rest your finger for long enough, it'll just go bypass the lock screen and go straight to the home screen. The area is the perfect size. I think I have big hands and I can hold the iPad Air with one hand you have to really stretch your fingers, so it's not the most comfortable device to hold in one hand anyways the iPad Air is the iPad Pro mini.

We've always wanted it's so small and lightweight, and it's easy to use while scribbling down notes, while using it like a clipboard. As with the larger iPads. It also comes in LTE, which means that it has this extra antenna line at the bottom of the device. Here too, the device is just so beautiful, like all the lines are perfectly color, matched to the rest of the device, and it's just such a beautiful, beautifully executed design and while we're on the topic of choice, when you start shopping for accessories, there's just so many color options to choose from, and it's by far the most colorful iPad that we've seen in a very, very long time. It's also the most fashion friendly iPad and when you look at all the different accessories, there's just so many color combinations to suit your style.

The color options kind of remind me of an Easter egg display at a high-end department store, so it may not be for everyone, but it's very pleasing for accessories be sure to check out my Amazon storefront. The link is in the description right now here. I've made lists of my favorite iPad products as well as collections to help you switch to iPad and create the best work from home iPad only workstation, but if you're like me, and you've been using the iPad Pro, it's going to be a lot harder for you to switch to the air. The first reason, of course, is the screen size.10.9 inches is big, but if you used to using the 12.9-inch iPad Pro it'll feel a little more cramped. I watched a lot of movies on the iPad and movies.

Just look a little more cramped on the 10.9 inch display compare to the 12. , so the iPad is basically just a screen. You really should go for the biggest one you can afford, or the one that you can use the easiest. So I know that 12.9 is probably too big for most people, but for me, it's the perfect size. A lot of YouTubers complained that the iPad Air doesn't have a 120 hertz refresh rate display.

This to me is not such a big deal. I feel as though 120hz display is a bit of a luxury, and it's more of a nice to have, and it's a lot smoother, and it's a better experience, but unless you're using your iPad Air next to an iPad Pro, you won't notice the difference. The pro range also offers more storage options. I have the 512 gigabyte pro and I love not having to worry about running out of space. I don't think it's worth opting for the one terabyte option as that's way too much storage, you probably will struggle to fill that amount with storage unless you're doing a lot of video editing.

In my mind, 512 is the sweet spot, as I can fill up a 256 gigabyte iPad really quickly, apart from a better display, a larger display and also more storage options. The iPad Pro also has a better speaker system. Here again. The pro is only slightly better than the air, so unless you put them side by side and listen to the comparison between the two, the difference isn't that great, so I wouldn't buy a pro of an over an air just for sound quality. And finally, the last reason why you shouldn't be buying any iPad now is 5g is probably just around the corner for the iPad.

The 5g just came to all the iPhones, and it's not unrealistic to think that the iPad is the next device to get 5g. So if you want to see what a 5g iPad looks like just wait until around about march, when the new ones are released, I just got the iPhone 12 Pro max with 5g and in the UK.5G is much faster than LTE in my experience, and so far I'm really happy with it. So I think, having an iPad with a much faster modem would be great, be sure to subscribe to the channel and comment hashtag. I tablet on any of my videos and you could win AirPods when the channel reaches 5 000 subscribers or when an iPad Mini. When the channel reaches 10 000 subscribers.

You.
