So, according to previous reports, the first smartphone with a pre-installed harmony, OS operating system, should be the flagship Huawei p50, which is expected to be announced in April this year, and now Huawei officials have shared the latest updates on app gallery for those unaware. The app gallery is the Chinese tech, giant's proprietary, app store, which is the world's third largest at the moment.
Currently, the platform has over 2.3 million registered developers, so the Chinese tech giant Huawei has revealed that now it has over 530 million active monthly users reporting an 83 yearly increase in app distribution, reaching 384 billion in stalls in 2020. There are 2.3 million registered developers who are working on mobile applications for app gallery, and the amount is 77 percent higher than what it used to be back in 2019. According to director of global partnerships, an economic business development at Huawei consumer business group. At the end of 2019, there were 25 countries around world which had over a million app gallery users. That number has now grown to 42, and we continue to see strong growth across markets in Europe, Latin America, Asia, pacific, Middle East and Africa.
It's not just about quantity and the fact that the number of apps integrated with Huawei mobile services, core has more than doubled in one year, shows that more developers are looking to Huawei's on-device capabilities to drive innovation and provide better and more unique user experiences.
