Huawei Nova 3 vs Honor Play vs Honor Note 10 - Gaming Review! By Frankie Tech

Hi guys its Frankie, Frankie, Frankie, Tech, and I'm here today, guys with a very special video when I've been planning to do for a while sorry, it took so long to get to this one. But here we are. It is my gaming review of these three phones right here. It's a versus the honor play the honor note 10 and the Kwame nova 3. Now, as you guys know, I just got this phone earlier in the week and so originally was just going to plan to do a video between these two, but I'm gonna, throw in this great awesome phone that I've been using as my daily driver and look at that whew. So hot, but I've been using this phone as my daily driver for the past for the past few days and I just wanted to do here, a gaming comparison between these three phones, and so just let's jump right into it here.

So what I've done here is I've gone ahead and put a list of games here that I want to run on these phones and I. Have everything set up and ready to go, and I'm going to be testing these four games out, and I'm going to be testing. Let's see, let's go in the order here: shadowed three asphalt, nine Taken mobile version and then pub G Mobile on the most advanced settings that I can get for each of these phones. So it's going to be just going through each of these games on each of the phones and kind of sharing my insights, how it feels and just really again, you know answering the question here: does the honor play at a much lower price point? This is into the 200. You know, $250 250 to $300 range.

Can this phone with that Karyn 970 match the experience of these two follow the more expensive who of nova 3 here, which is in the kind of 450 price range brackets, and then the honor no 10 here, which is in the 450 to $500 price bracket. So there's going to be a real question here and let's get into it right now. Now, as you see here, I'm running these phones just about 50% screen brightness here you can see it there they're all around 50%, but this is not a battery test. This is not kind of anything like that. It's just a really gaming performance test, so I'm going to go ahead and open up first, and I'm, not I'm, just going to make sure here also that everything is cleared on these phones, ooh good thing, I checked, so everything's cleared I just downloaded this, the GFX tool there on the honor note, 10, everything's ready to go, and lets kind of click now on the shadow 5/3.

Let's try to do this at the same time here and three two one go close enough. So let's see how long- and you know these are all running to Karen 970 here so I- don't think this is gonna, be as important. Let's lower the volume here, a little on somebody's, so you can see here I'm out fighting here on the Nova 3, but max out here see it's a single bottom firing speaker, but it sounds pretty good awesome. Let's put it down a little. Pretty great performance on the Nova 3 right here so here is gameplay on the honor play now.

Let's see how it does with this game. Yes- and obviously haven't played this that much. But let's see here you can see. The screen is a little more reflective, but it's not enough to really cause issues, and then I mean if I was just holding this phone and kind of wasn't looking at it. Had my eyes closed, I mean you can feel the back is not the same as the Nova 3, but when you're playing games you don't notice it so for all the stuff I give about this phone about the design not being a huge fan, very generic, very ugly kind of like antenna lines.

You know when it came to fighting shadow fight 3 here it was a pretty good experience. You see it there. Look there. I am what some a bit more reflective than the In nova 3, not by much, but just a little more than I felt that, and now here we are playing army, dual firing. Speakers on the honor 10 hotter note, 10 see my gameplay I'm, pretty crappy I.

Don't even have a nice knit I don't have a knife. What am I doing, but I'm really appreciating the dual speakers yeah pretty awesome, see if I can beat this guy. Oh, I've been beat you suck man, so that was gaming on shadow 5/3 there. Now, let's go to the next title: asphalt, 9, I'm, gonna, just press. This real quick here get started on all these now I'm, not worried about load times here, because, honestly, it's the cure.970! It's going to be the same for all of these alright. So here we go they're all loaded up here on asphalt, 9 and let's start here with the nova 3.

So one thing: I can say already like no honor logo on the bottom here on this Nova 3. So you can just fully immerse yourself in gameplay right here. Let's do it. Racing baby yeah I know how to play. You know what to tell me: oh yeah beautiful, so you can see there the gameplay on this is awesome.

It's max volume, and you don't ever need to play that loud woah. Oh yeah, first place baby. Alright, here we go 3 2 1 boom. Let's do it. Oh yeah, yeah I know how to play.

That's. Oh, yeah crush your boy, crush yeah, crushing you I'm out in the front and honestly is the game played that different from the Nova 3? Not really both phones using an IPS LCD panel? So really it's not much of a difference. Oh man, look at me go and let's hit this. Oh, yeah dude this game. If you haven't played already, it is badass.

It is amazing. There we go first place. Finish. Awesome, awesome, gameplay here on the honor play alright. Here we go three two one, let's race and here on the honor note 10.

Oh yeah, you see it here. What an amazing giant screen experienced the gaming. This is. This is at another level, guys I mean I know the honor play is cheap, but if you can get your hands on this with the duel firing speakers look at that unbelievable. You can't there, and it's not really reflective at all.

Honestly, the experienced gaming on this phone who and I stayed on the road there and, let's see how I do oh yeah first place results baby. Alright. So let's go to the next game in the series: need a tech in mobile, we're going to press Start on all three: let's go: let's go come on, and I played this game for a little. I. Think I, like this game.

Better than I like I mean Street. Fighter is awesome, I love it, but I have to say this game has been a lot of fun to play. I don't know! What's going on here, so I'm going to make sure everything's logged in appropriately and let's get started alright. So here we go. We got everything set up.

All phones are running tech in mobile here. So let's start here with the Nova 3, let's get started alright here we go fight. Obviously I need to wait for my card sub here. Alright, let's get her clothes here. Oh, yeah hi skip that one.

Oh, there you go look in the hang of this game, but I'm loving it Taken mobile dude. If you remember the old Taken I used to play tag in back in the day my favorite put my favorite character was a guy named King. You guys remember King, but do with like the lion mask or the Panther mask, and he was like a wrestler. It was awesome. So there you go.

No complaints on the Nova 3, perfect, sound, perfect. Absolutely perfect gaming ability there honor play. Can the honor play match this exact same abilities there that I just, just experienced on the Nova 3? Let's have a look fight: oh yes, Kahuna I'm, a man and who's your favorite ya player who's, your favorite playable character in this game. I drop it at a comment section there booth is your favorite all-time Taken player, because mine was king, I kind of wish he's an unlockable player in this game, because I would love to play with King again. Oh, yeah take that boom and these guys are easy.

It's early on the game so, but look at that great gameplay. No issues on the honor play just a pretty much the exact same experience on the more expensive, Nova, 3 and last but not least, on the honor note 10, and listen to that sound. Listen to that. Oh man, I tell you for gaming. This phone spoils you man, it is just something else see little stutter there I'm not sure what happened there, but let's get into it boom quick moves here.

Ooh. You got me hard. There, beautiful, combo there great sound on both sides. Now I know you guys are probably gonna, be asking the comments. What are your thoughts on the honor 8 X max? That's coming out, it's going to be kind of like a budget version of above large for a phablet for impact it for all you guys who thought this is too expensive and then made Wow.

Something happened there just flipped around, but man the big game. Experience on this phone is something else, and it's not just, though guys because of the big display it's because of the sound to listen to that duel. Fire engine it's coming out, equal both sides, pretty awesome, experience gaming with this on or no 10 right here, alright. So here we are guys. This is the last test here.

Gaming for these phones and that's gonna- be on pub G mobile here, so I'm going to open up the GFX tool and just make sure here that the resolution on all of them is the same 1920 by 1080. There we go now. Let's look at graphics for each one, picking HDR, HDR can see everything is set up here. The style, realistic, realistic, realistic shadows are enabled, you can see there and the frames per second, that's the last thing. I got a double check here: they're all running extreme right there, so we're gonna press apply, apply, apply! Yes, yes, yes, and here we go.

Let's see how these phones do these honor and Huawei phones to this care, 970 on pub G, extreme gaming, but now, lets kind of jump in here- and let's look at the settings here- real quick on these phones to show you guys where we are at in terms of graphics on each one. So I don't know why that switch back to HDR there, but we're going to make sure that it's all HDR we're on ultra there I, don't know why I didn't you didn't actually change the results here, but I'm going to enable, and the aliasing enabled, and I'm going to disable the auto adjust, so that'll mean that'll mean there that it will be running at full settings here. So that's it! So we're ready to go. Let's give these a go right here and, let's start them off three two one go! Oh, pretty similar timing. It's about the gameplay here see what seeing what the experience is like with these welds.

So, let's see it there, let's just kind of run it's going to set automatic sprinting here on each of these, so you can kind of see what it looks like on each phone and all the bones here. You can see they're all doing pretty. Well, let's turn them around here, oh crap. He just fell off the cliff, getting ready for the jump here. Let's see how we do once we get into the jump this guy's swimming over here.

What is going on so here we go with the plane jump on the Nova three, oh, and it's getting pretty hot on this side right over here feeling the heat, it's a glass back, but you know it's still, going to get hot, see the other phones there they're all playing, let's actually put them all down. We're gonna! Do this all as one test here and, let's all jump at the same time, ready jump, jump, jump so, and I'm playing audio here on the Nova 3 and overall you see the experience on this is very similar. Get down there. Now the honor play 100% volume and the honor no tent. So no doubt there who's the loudest here this guy right here, the honor, no 10.

So now, let's get right in there. Let's do some quick gameplay here on the Nova 3, which is getting pretty hot I'm surprised. Actually it's getting a lot hotter on this side than I expected here we go, so we're running around just giving you a feeling of extreme settings here, and these phones have no issue running these extreme settings. You can spell already so, let's put on the sound here on the Nova 3, and it's playing very nicely no issues whatsoever, I'm not complaining at all. Now, let's do the honor play great performance, but it is getting hot they're all getting hot in the same spot.

Obviously, where the CPU is you know, let's go in here, grab some stuff, so sorry about that guys, I had to switch phones there for filming. My iPhone 8 plus is dead now, so I'm using a backup iPhone here to film. This see me here: walk it around. The honor play is doing very well it's getting hot, though man, and then this is the thing with the honor play. This metal back gets a lot hotter, I feel than two glass bags, and so, if that's something that you, if that's something that is an issue for you just remember- you're going to have to get a case with this, but know that your gameplay may be affected because that metal back will get hot and I.

Don't know if it's as good at dissipating heat than having a glass back to be honest, oh, and I'm. Getting killed over here go down this hill here, here's gameplay on the honor note 10, and I'm getting killed, guys I'm just getting absolutely killed. I! Guess that's what happens when you just leave the game hanging for that long. So, let's go up here and get some stuff see the overall gaming experience is very, very solid. I need something.

I need something which you're probably not going to want to play this on max settings. Because I'm, gonna, yeah, I'm, going to punch you to death, that's what I'm going to do there? Oh, oh man, I tell you try playing pub G on three phones at the same time. It's its not easy, but you see it here. Guys I mean the gameplay on this phone is, is really amazing, and it's not just because of the big display, as I mentioned it's because of that immersive dual speaker experience and the sound that you get from. This is really, really special, and so that's the end of video guys- and you know I guess the final question here that I just need to add you need to answer is how did the honor play stack up against the Nova 3 and the honor note 10 here in gameplay, well, I think the results kind of speak for themselves.

You see there that overall, like just forge it like just regular gaming and kind of just the overall experience the honor play did really, really well and look it's still. If you feel it right now, men, it is still pretty hot I will say that, though, that it definitely gets a lot hotter because of that metal back then, the other phones, because of their glass backs. It's just like this feels hot, but it doesn't feel kind of hot in that way, that metal does metal feels hot to the point that it may start feeling a little uncomfortable to hold. But you know is that going to be a dealbreaker for any of you guys considering this phone I don't know now. The big question you probably are all thinking about is how will this phone stack up against the Poco phone, the Paco f1? Well, you know that's a good question as good a question as you can probably ask at this point and so stay tuned guys, because when I do get that phone, that will be one of the main comparisons I'll be making between this phone and between right.

Here the ATM I'm definitely curious to see how those perform I think even an overall verdict here if I depict the best gaming experience between these three phones, I'd have to go with right here: the honor Note 10 and like I mentioned before it's not because of the display size. It really is the combination of display performance and those dual firing speakers you saw it there and some of that gameplay, the dual firing speakers make a huge difference, and I've really enjoyed it and then, finally, you know the Nova 3. The Nova 3 did a great job, I think, but that's a real question. You have to ask if you have a phone that is offering that same kind of performance in gameplay and probably even better, because of that you know because of the GPU and that whole kind of like set up this gaming experience was as good as the Nova 3. It was as good, and honestly I think that really makes that the price difference.

Unjustified I, think that you know unless you're me, and you really just love design. You love kind of the snazzy looks if you don't care about that. Well, then, here's your phone, the honor, play man I've, given it a bad rap because of design recently, but when it comes to gaming, which is what it's in the name guys the honor play, that's it. It is really an awesome gaming experience for the price. That's it for this video guys.
