Hey guys, so I just got back from the launch event of the HTC: u 11 in Taiwan it was a long trip but well worth it. Since HTC has shown that its new flagship can go head-to-head with the Samsung Galaxy S8. Its main feature is the camera. The 12 megapixel unit has already been rated by DX, so much giving it a score of 92 full points ahead of the sampling galaxy f8. So to see if those scores live up to the real-world expectations, I've been taking side-by-side comparison shots with these two phones, the HTC. U 11 has a 12 megapixel Sony sensor with an F 1.7 lens and 4 axis optical images. Stabilization, the front-facing camera has a 16 megapixel with an F 2.0 lens, the? U 11 comes with an HDR boost mode, which is similar to the HDR plus mode on the Google Pixel, allowing it to produce more balanced shots. Since the image is created from multiple exposures, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also has a 12 megapixel sensor with an F 1.7 lens face, detect autofocus and OAS, and its front-facing camera has an 8 megapixel sensor with an F 1.7 autofocus lens. Take a look at these side-by-side comparison.
Shop and I'll check back um at the end for a little of commentary Oh, as you can see, images from both cameras are great, but there's a clear difference between the two phones. Santa links. Pictures are typically a little over saturated when compared to the U 11s, while it's nice to have shots that are a little more vivid at times the colors just don't seem natural. The U 11th images by comparison often look a little washed out, but when you look at the whole image, you'll see that the HDR boost mode allows HCC's phones to capture a lot more detail, and you can see this in daytime and nighttime shots. As for the selfie cam, the HCC's phones, 16 megapixel sensor captures a much larger image with more detail, but that detail is often lost in low-light conditions and that's where the Samsung Galaxy S8 has a little of edge with the front-facing camera, but you'll really only be able to spot the difference.
If you zoom in, if you're looking for the 2017 smartphone with the best camera I, say, go with the HTC. U 11, Samsung's phone is still perfect and can beat out the HTC. U 11 and a couple different instances, but it's clear that HTC's camera engineers went the extra mile to make sure that their new flagship phone is slightly better than Samsung.
