How To Enable Microphone In Google Chrome By ProgrammingKnowledge2

Hey guys in this video I'm going to show you how you can enable the microphone on your Google Chrome web browser. So let's get started. So what you need to do is you need to click on these three dots here and then click on the settings option and once the settings window opens, you just need to scroll down a little until you see site settings here. Okay, the site setting option is under privacy and security, a section so just go to privacy and security and click on site settings option. And then you will be able to see this microphone option, so I'm going to just click on this microphone option, and here you will be able to see the list of all the website which are allowed to use your microphone. So right now you can see.

I have allowed the Google meat website to use my microphone and there is no blocked website here and on the top. You can see that if this option is disabled, you just need to toggle this button, and then you will see ask before accessing, which is also the recommendation from Google Chrome. So just toggle it to enable this option, which means that whenever a website was to use your microphone, then it's going to ask you before accessing your microphone now here you will be able to see the list of all the microphones, so here I can see different microphones, which are available on my laptop, so just choose the microphone which you are currently using. Okay, so let's say I'm using this Samson go mic here, which is the external mic, so I can use this one, which is the default one right now, so just choose the mic which you want to use, and then it's going to work for you, okay, so let's check whether our microphone is working. There is a very simple test to test whether you microphone is working on your Google Chrome web browser or not, which is your just need to go to your web browser and search for microphone test or mic test? Simply.

Okay, and here in the results you can see, there are so many websites which will allow you to test your microphone I'm, going to click on the first option, which is online mic test. Comm and once this website opens, you just need to click on this test button, so instructions are really simple: I just need to click on this button, and this is going to show me this kind of pop-up, which says use your microphone, so I'm going to just click on allow which is going to test this microphone. You can see that now when I speak, it's going to just vibrate on my voice, so that means my microphone is working for this website and once you are done with this setting, you can also see that under the settings of your Google Chrome settings, this website is added to a loud website right so next time and whenever this website wants to use your microphone, it will not show you this pop-up. So let's just reload this website and then click on this button, and you can see now this microphone test website is able to access my microphone without this pop-up. Okay, so make sure that this website is added.

If you want to remove it, just remove this website, and then it's going to next time once again going to show you this kind of pop-up. If you want to block any website, just click on block, which means that this website will be added to the block list, and that means now. This microphone is not authorized. You can see here, so we have unauthorized our microphones for this particular website. Okay.
