LG K92 5G Phone Review, the First mid-range 5G phone in the U.S.A.

It's, a new phone debuted, it's a lg uh. I guess you could say I'm a lg fan. I like reporting on them because they try and uh proliferate the market with uh different approaches and strategies. This is a good strategy, I think um, but I probably wouldn't recommend anyone to buy it um. But it's probably going to be one of those. A lot of people get because of the economy, and maybe you want 5g.

So this phone is the latest mid-ranger coming from lg. It's a k92, it's a memorable name uh, maybe you're born in 92. So that's kind of cool um uh, it's a lower mid-range phone. I would say I was looking up what the processor, what where it slots in, so this is powered by the snapdragon 690. It was announced in June this year so like four months ago, it has 5g and includes even the sub 6 5g networks, which is, I think, it's the same.

That power is like Verizon, so like the millimeter wave, which is supposed it's like the fastest 5g, but it is coming to 18th. I think it's like the main person. That's getting it um, it's a nice design. It has a good back. I like it, has a similar back like the pixel 3, but it has three cameras in back which are pretty mediocre as 64 megapixels, five megabits ultra-wide and a two mega me megapixel of depth and to make a pixel macro.

So it's actually four sorry, four um yeah. If you were to uh, learn anything from nick and liquid, say yeah. This doesn't really matter how many pixels you have in 64 megapixels, because the sensor and the aperture are only small. So it doesn't really matter. It's not going to have like super great performance.

Maybe you'll be able to like to get some detail but like if you don't have like any way for it to expose and get good night light, or it depends on if they have good AI, which I don't think they have in this phone. So the camera setup is mediocre in the back, but it has a 16 megapixel selfie camera, which is uh better than average. I think it's good. I think it's always better to have good front-facing cameras, because in this uh day and age we have a lot of uh people that like to talk on phones like Alex, and I are doing like weekly google meets with their parents. So it's pretty fun, yeah and uh.

It's nice to have an uh, more detailed camera, rather than just like a five megapixel, get to see more of the face and what's happening and stuff are these five and two megapixel cameras just junk um, the 5 megapixel is fine, it ha it's ultra-wide, so you can get better landscape like you can get better like more range in it. The 2 megapixel macro cameras, kinda yeah trash because you're not gonna, get much from it. Um might as well just use your regular standard camera and just zoom in, and you get the same thing. This is the classic uh. We put more cameras on so it's more.

What is it more cares, more cameras right so would you buy or let it die, I'd say, buy the phone, but only if you want 5g, otherwise it's not only worth buying, because it's not going to get um any updates knowing lg, they usually don't update their phones. Very often it runs on the android.10 has 6 gigs of ram and 128 of storage, the processors they started between this, like the 720 and the 710, the if you compare it to the other flag, flagship, mid-range phones that came out this year, it's a little lower than that, but it does have better CPU and GPU, which is interesting. So it's going to run fine, but it's not going to be like it might. Maybe the performance might not be as fast as like the Pixel 4a or the five um, but it is a lower price which is really nice. It's only 359 dollars for a 5g phone.

I think that's the lowest I've seen so far, uh stateside. So that's a really nice uh price um. So that's why I said like. Maybe if you don't care about updates- and you just want to like you- want like a decent selfie camera and good battery- and you want to just have a regular phone, not like gaming or anything, just be a good like cheap phone. If you broke your phone, and you can't afford to get the latest iPhone, it's nice enough gets you through um, and you'll, be feed reproved for 5g once it rolls out more.

So that's my review, nice. You have anything uh question about it. I did have one yeah: it has an edge to edge display. It looks like the border inside it's slightly thicker than you'd need it, but it's not too bad the camera's in the middle, which is that's interesting. I think it's better than having it on the side.

Think it has the algae skin they typically put on which is okay. I don't think they've um put like too much skinning on it, which shouldn't slow it too down it's too much down, and it has a HDR HD plus this is 1080p. Oh, it does have a fingerprint sensor on the side, which is actually a good thing to have. It doesn't uh, take up space in the back, and it's easy to reach. You're going to touch the power button to turn it on anyways.

So it's its a good placement USB charging as standard is today. I don't know its interesting strategy to go for the low end mid-range phones, so it might be like your children's snack phone if they want something, and they have to deal with it until they get their own phone sounds good yeah. So that's the high-end range mid-range.
