Hey guys, what's up, welcome to apex thanks for tuning in it's been a week since I got my hands on Samsung Galaxy note, 20 ultra and in this video I would like to share the test results of battery performance of this beast. These results are based on the real life usage of this phone. Alright, before we begin, if you are new on the channel, make sure to hit that subscribe button- and let me know your thoughts in the comment section below okay now, this megaphone running on Enos 990 packs a 4500 my battery, which sounds kind of small for a phone of this size which packs a quad HD display which delivers 1500 nits of brightness and 120 hertz adaptive refresh rate. But how does the battery hold up in real life? Let me tell you the results in a minute or so all right. We all know that there are multiple modes in this battery settings, and we can set them accordingly to our usage patterns right. So I have tested this battery life in two different settings.
The first one is on optimized mode at 120, hertz, refresh rate, which of course runs on full HD display, and second one is power, saving mode which brings the refresh rate down to 60 hertz on full HD display on power saving mode. The AOD was off. CPU speed was limited to 70 percent, 10 percent reduced brightness background data exchange was turned off now, let's see the results on optimized mode with 120 hertz refresh rate, I started my day with a full charge at 9, 30 am and by 9 30 pm. I was left with about 20 battery the screen on time I got was close to about 6 hours. My usage pattern was like a couple of hours of voice calling YouTube for about 30 to 45 minutes camera used for about 10 minutes PUBG for about half an hour, what's up Facebook, etc.
For some time this was my real day. Life scenario. I was thinking I might get a screen on time of about five hours, but battery performance turned out to be perfect on optimized mode. This was the same screen on time. I used to get on Galaxy Note: 9's quad HD display with 4000 my battery at 60, hertz refresh rate during the initial days, getting 6 hours of screen on time on Samsung Galaxy note, 20 ultra is just amazing all right now, sharing the results of second scenario, which is on power, saving mode with 60 hertz refresh rate.
Here I have got a screen on time of close to about 7 hour 30 minutes, and before I go to bed, I was left with 40 of battery life, which is fantastic and even in this scenario, the usage patterns were the same with all those applications used in the first scenario. This is fantastic, isn't if I know, no one wants to use the phone on power saving mode when this phone packs the punch with so many features and that 120 hertz refresh rate, but having said that this mode will come in handy, sometimes when you want to conserve the battery while you are traveling or perhaps when you had a busy day on your phone, and you were left with some limited battery at the end of the day. So that's when you might want to turn on the power saver to increase the battery life. I am obviously using it on optimized mode to make the most out of this phone. The other two modes like high performance and maximum battery saving modes on the battery settings are not really needed.
In my opinion and yeah, you might as well turn on adaptive power saving mode to make the most out of your usage patterns all right. Those are my test results of Samsung Galaxy note: 20 ultras battery performance. This of course depends on your usage patterns on different battery modes. I really didn't feel like turning on quad HD display on this phone and tested, because I don't really feel like using it on quad HD with 60 hertz, but I was curious to test it on full HD 60 hertz and see how long it can last, and it really did well frankly, the difference between the quad HD display and full HD mode on this gorgeous screen is hardly noticeable, and I do believe Samsung has done a great job on this phone. More videos coming up on note, 9 and note 20.
Ultra so stay tuned guys, all in all this phone's endurance is perfect.6 hours on 120hz display is really amazing. You guys, let me know what do you think about the battery life of Galaxy Note 20 ultra? Is it good or bad? Just let me know your opinion in the comment section below thanks a lot for watching the video you guys take care and stay safe until the next one cheers bye.
