Google Pixel 5a Unboxing!

Well well well, everyone, the pixel 5a, actually ended up coming out, and I ended up getting one. I have not seen anyone else. Do a review or unboxing of this thing. Yet, as of me, making this video google did send this out to me, so I got it for free. If it's great, I'm going to say it's great. If it's horrible, I'm going to say it's horrible, just like I've done it before.

But the thing is, I haven't seen anybody doing a boxing yet, so could I possibly be the first one? That's what I'm trying to figure out. I hope I'm not breaching anything, but with the pixel 5a, you can see all the stuff in the back. Whatever this stuff is now to unbox it as usual, we go ahead and trip this thing down, go and strip this thing out now it looks like this is the 5g model, so I'm unsure if there are different models. If there's the standard model, like we've gotten with the Pixel 4a, but I guess we'll see what happens lifting the box up now, it doesn't feel super cheap. You know it feels pretty much.

What you'd expect now you do have the standard box up top, nothing super crazy, and here we have the pixel 5a. Now the thing I noticed right out the gate: dual camera setup. That is a pretty big thing. I noticed versus the pixel 4, which had a single camera set up and lifting it to the front. You can see plastic slate thing we can go in, and I don't know who put this on, but they totally butchered it.

Taking this plastic thing off, you can see we have the pixel 5a right here. That is a pretty big phone. Some people were saying the chin was heavy, it looks pretty much the same, and I'll give you guys a better look, but let me go ahead and turn this on, for the time being, probably still has an OLED display. Now inside the box, we have the sim card eject tool, which is right here. We can go and lift this thing out, and you know what's so funny, I just have to sit, and then we have booklets and all this stuff.

I don't wonder if you have any stickers whatever you guys, don't care about this stuff. Here's the thing right here we have a phone that is technically a budgeted device right, it's not the most expensive phone in the world. How is it that this phone right here? How is it that this phone has the charging brick right? A fast charging brick at that, and it has this little dongle, USB type c to USB type, a and also a charging cable, an iPhone 12 Pro doesn't even have this type of capability right, an iPhone 12 doesn't even have half the accessories in here, so it genuinely does not make any sense to me how google is able to do this. Well, it makes sense to me, they're, probably focusing more on software here, making more money off software, but it doesn't make any sense to me why manufacturers like apple and Samsung, aren't able to put the accessories here that a budget phone like a pixel 5a is able to bring now looking at the pixel 5a. Let me go ahead and move this stuff around.

The phone itself feels pretty similar to the 4a. It feels up, it doesn't feel actually as cheap. It feels a little more expensive, maybe a little heavier now looking through the setup. Hopefully I don't take 30 minutes setting it up, but I'm gonna probably skip everything. Now I actually have no idea what the chipset is inside and everything like that.

So I guess we'll see what happens when we get through with everything, but I think it's going to have somewhat of the same chipset as the pixel 5. If, I'm being honest, it reminds me more of a pixel 5 than it reminds me of a Pixel 4a. To be honest, the size is definitely feeling a little bigger. I think it has that 6.3 inch display or something- and that's really if I mean the phone has really just gone through its setup and overall I mean it looks pretty good like I really have no complaints about it whatsoever. Now I am curious to see what android version it's on, so I think it's going to be on android 11, and you can see it is on android 11 in this case gesture based design, which is beautiful.

I wonder how much storage, how much storage is in here, so it looks like I do. Have the 128 gig model- I don't know if that's the top tier model or not. So that's another thing to keep in mind and overall I mean it looks pretty smooth, and now I don't know I don't see any refresh rate increment. So, as you can see, I don't see any like high refresh rate or anything, so I don't think it has a 90 hertz refresh rate which isn't that big of a deal you know it is a budget to your phone. But to be honest, I don't know what the price tag of this phone is.

Maybe it's going to be four or five hundred dollars. If it's less than five hundred dollars, that's actually not that bad of a deal again. This is a pixel phone. You know this is a very good phone. I am getting strong pixel 3axl vibes from this specific phone, there's less bezel and everything, but the pixel 3axl, that's kind of exactly what this phone is in my opinion.

So that's pretty much it that's a quick unboxing and I guess first, look if I am the first one, if I'm the first one, that's crazy, because I haven't seen anybody else actually have this phone. Yet let me know in the comment section below what you guys think hit the like button. That was me so much, but definitely hit that subscribe button. More importantly, everything else I love every single one of you guys, hopefully I'll catch you guys in the next video peace out. So then you.
