Google Pixel 5 Review of 5 BEST Features!! By Matt Talks Tech

So this year we have had already the pixel 4 8 come out, and recently we had the announcement of the Pixel 4a 5g and the new pixel 5. With that new pixel 5, I've decided to show you guys my pixel 5 review of 5 best features on Google's the latest flagship phone. So if you want to hear the latest gaming news, tech, news reviews and comparisons hit that subscribe button followed by the bell, so google surprised us this year at their launch night virtual event, where we saw lots of new products, including the new Pixel 4a 5g, and the new pixel 5. Everyone has had their eyes on the pixel 5 and there are some noticeable changes that Google have taken out from the pixel 4 and gone back to what they know best for the pixel lineup. I want to talk about the five best features for the pixel 5, but first before we go on any further. This channel has recently hit over 65 000 subscribers.

What to me is amazing, and I'm absolutely overwhelmed by the support from everyone checking out these videos, so I've decided to do something back and give one lucky subscriber one of these. It is a new iPad, 8 gen that I recently did an unboxing on, and I want to give it to one of you lucky people out there I'll. Let you know later on this video, how you can get your hands on it, but I will be announcing the lucky subscriber when we get over 75 000 subscribers so back to the pixel 5. So with the recent Google virtual event on September 30th with a different spin on it, we saw loads of new products, including a new nest speaker, a new Chromecast and also two new pixel phones. These were the pixel 4 a5g and the pixel 5.

We finally also got the news and wanted to hear that the pixel 5 will be released on October 15th and the Pixel 4a 5g on November 19th, with prices starting at 699 dollars for the pixel 5 and 499 for the Pixel 4a 5g, and both these phones, starting out with 128 gigabytes of storage inside. We also saw that the pixel 5 and the 4a had many new features that many of us cannot wait to get our hands on. So I've decided to do you a review of the five best features on the pixel 5. So these features are not an order, but definitely the top five pixel features that I love, and I'm sure many of you will love as well. At five, we probably have the most obvious feature of the pixel 5, and that is the brand-new design that looks really smart and resembles the design of the Pixel 4a.

The phone comes in two colors, with some odd names as well. What's called a sort of sage, a green color and just black, and that is just what it is. It's black. The body of the phone is made of a recycled aluminum, which is notable as most phones have a glass back or plastic back. The main reason metal is rarely used is that you can't use charging through metal and that is kind of a bit of a spoiler there.

For you, the pixel 5 does have wireless charging built into it. The way how google or the pixel 5 gets away with this is there is a small hole on top of the wireless charging coil, which is covered by a resin and painted over to match the aluminum. The phone itself only weighs 151 grams, and it has the dimensions of 144.7 by 70.4 by eight millimeters and overall, the design and the feel in your hand, is perfect, and it doesn't really feel that cheap at all. However, I wouldn't say it's screaming in quality either when you hold it so at 4. Is that display the pixel 5 comes with a 6 inch, full HD display with a resolution of 1080 by 2340, which is a 432 pixels per wrench.

The screen is 0.2 inch bigger than the normal Pixel 4a. However, unusually the pixel 485g will have a 6.2-inch screen what is 0.2 inches bigger than the pixel 5 flagships. Here, however, this screen does have an always on display and the pixel 5 is an OLED panel. Google has also included 90 hertz, refresh rate here for the pixel 5. That was also on the pixel 4 last year.90 hertz does still feel good and doesn't really feel dated. Yet could still say, it is a refresh rate that is faster than many other devices with smoother scrolling and transitions.

That said, this isn't as good as some top-end flagships that feature away 120 hertz refresh rate like the OnePlus 8 or Samsung's top flagship phones that came out earlier this year. There are even some other phones out. There will even have a higher refresh rate free is the new idea for processor and ram thinking right off, something that a lot of people are wondering is what was going through the pixels team's head when they chose this processor this year. Unlike previous pixel flagships, the pixel 5 doesn't feature the top-end chipset you'd expect. Instead, the company has opted for Qualcomm snapdragon 765 processors, says a high-end mid-range processor, okay, it is not as powerful as the chipsets that you find in the latest, OnePlus 8 pro and the Samsung Galaxy note 20 ultra.

However, one big noticeable change here is that google are the creators of android, and you are getting that pure vanilla experience where you're getting no extra menus, no extra background software or anything that may eat up foam resources and power as such you're getting a very fluid experience and the 765g is around the same power as a snapdragon 845 that came out a couple of years ago. A chip inside say the OnePlus 6. The OnePlus 6 today is no slouch for example, and continues to get updates, as it is a very capable phone in 2020 and going into 2021. We have also seen other phones running this 765g chipset and have been very powerful enough to run everyday tasks of browsing. The web, reading articles or social media messages, standard gaming and editing photos and videos that g at the end of the 765 also means the phone has a 5g modem inside.

For faster cellular speeds, this is the first pixel to be released with 5g capability, so just quickly that giveaway I mentioned earlier to be in for a lucky chance to be that lucky subscriber make sure you, first, have hit that bell notification to let you know if you've won or not, but then from you. The camera is very similar to the pixel 4, though it features a 12.2 megapixel, dual pixel shooter with a 1.4 um pixel width. However, there is also a megapixel ultra-wide shooter that replaces the tell photo shoot on last year's phone.

That was criticized with so many phones having an ultra-wide lens and why didn't google opt for a telephoto lens instead of the ultra-wide. However, it's good to see that Google have listened and have equipped the phone now with that ultra-wide sensor, the company's impressive night sight and portrait mode are returning to the pixel 5 as well, but also some other great features coming as well with the pixel 5, and these features include the ability to take a picture and then, for example, add more light to shadows on faces and also night mode with portrait photos. There is also some great new video features as well, including audio zoom and a great cinematic pan mode that gives those really cool movie shots. Overall, it is the best camera setup you will get on any device at this price and the Pixel 4a 5g will also have the same setup and will also cost 200 less at one. Is that android 11 experience now many other phone companies will be shipping android 11 on their phones very soon, like one plus, however, the likes of say Samsung, apart from the betas, are limited to only a few handsets in a few countries.

At the moment you probably won't be getting android 11 until 2021 with buying a Google Pixel, you will get android 11 out of the box. Not only will you probably get android 12, 13 and maybe even 14 over the next year, you will probably get those updates near on day, one or even on day, one of release on top of that as well. Every month you will get security updates for the next upcoming three years as well. Then, just one little note out there in general, your phone should not slow down too much as google optimize their software for their phones. First well guys there we have it.
