Google Pixel 3a XL Unboxing! By Nick Ackerman

So, what is up guys Nick here, helping you to master your technology and welcome to the Google Pixel three AXL unboxing shout out to Team pixel Google for sending this one out. It is appreciated, and you're going to see it today just launched yesterday and this one comes in at 399 for the small one and then this XL model is going to cost you 479 USD. So let's open up the box. This is the gift from Google. You know box right here, and you can see, came with a little pop, socket foam grip and stance as team pixel right on there and then over here we do have a little bag from Google, pretty nice stuff right there and then in the box. We also have a Google Pixel 3a XL case.

That's the fabric type of case. If I also have a similar one for the smaller pixel. And then here we have the Google Pixel 3 AXL. You can see the all new budget, pixel device that just came out: hashtag teen pixel a little card saying welcome to the pixel 3, and you know talking a little about it and other than that. Just very well boxed up.

So a beautiful presentation here from this gift from Google, and I'm sure all the other creators that got one also enjoy how easy it is to just get into this box very nice stuff. So this is the Google Pixel 3 an exile. You can see a very minimal packaging just like all the other pixel devices. I do like it, because you know with everything going on in the world today, the more minimal the better. Now, let's go ahead and pull this peel tab right here, and we'll pull this other peel tab right here, and you're in the device.

It's that simple. We don't even need to use a knife to unbox this one. Now you use this pull tab to pull the phone out, and here you go there is your Pixel 3a XL, clearly right edition, let's go ahead and open up the rest of the box, see what comes in there and that's just a little thing to hold the phone right here. You do get a sim card tool, some Google stickers, so you can go trolling, your Apple friends. If you would like teen, pixel and stuff, we will read later.

Oh, you know when and if we go ahead and go like this, there is nothing else in there. So a nice, USB, cable right here in the box. We also do have a USB, see ? I, think it's type 2.0 adapter right there and then over here we do have ourselves a fast charging, brick so very similar that identical unboxing experience to all the other pixel devices. You get all the things you need and everything is in a nice, minimal, white color now I quickly wanted to mention that this is a six-inch screen, so a little smaller than the pixel 3xl. Don't get that one confused 64 gigabytes here as well? Okay, guys, let's take off the wrapping really quickly here, and it's very easy.

You just pull it off like so, and I already turned it on, so we can get right into the setup process, but what I can tell you right away is that from the start it feels very similar to the pixel 3 Excel that came before it. However, just a little cheaper feeling as it as a plastic shell on the Pixel 3a Excel, but I do like that this phone doesn't have a notch up at the top and something you're not gonna, find on the three XL that the 3a Excel has, and it's cheaper is a headphone jack. So Google has decided to bring it back. Smart move a lot of people do love that feature. You also won't find a speaker down here, as they were able to place it up there because of the lack of a notch and down here, you'll find some more speaker USB and at the back you know you got your fingerprint sensor there, the Google logo, and that amazing pixel camera, which is really the showstopper here for the pixel 3 X I'll, giving you the same camera as the pixel 3 XL, which already was rated one of the hardest cameras to beat one of the best cameras on the market hands down.

So one thing that Google does have nailed down is the setup process of their phones is actually so simple and because it's a Google, Android phone, you know just the straight up: Google phone, you don't have to go through Samsung's process. For example, why always process? Plus the Google process is just the Google process, which is a lot quicker than having to deal with another login? So you know you just accept these legal terms really quickly. I'm going to skip the pixel imprint, which is going to be basically the fingerprint sensor, and we'll go ahead and skip the screen. Lock as well and just a second is probably gonna, ask me for my email to log. In there we go actually we're right in the phone, so you can see there is the Google Pixel 3 AXL.

So for those of you who, like simplicity, you're gonna, love the Google, pixel 3ax out and one thing I like about all Pixar devices, they turn on and off really fast. I'm going to demonstrate that to you really quickly, so the phone is totally off right now, let me go ahead and turn it on and watch how quickly this thing does boot up: 1 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 12, there we are 12 seconds were already on the Google Pixel 3 AXL. Now other phones take 30 35 40 seconds around that to boot. Up so really do love that about all pixel devices. Now one thing you should note if you do buy this device right here, is that it's a similar display, although without a notch as the Google Pixel 3xl, it's an OLED screen.

So it's not going to give you those washed out colors, sometimes that you get on some LCD panels, and it's over 400 pixels per inch at a 2160 by 1080 resolution. So I think that's plenty enough for most people now, where you do take a hit with this device, is going to be in the processing performance. It's going to be a Snapdragon 670. So it's not going to give you that flagship processor that you get in the pixel 3 XL, which is a Snapdragon 845, but it does give you plenty of processing performance, especially considering it's running a very optimized software in Google's stock, Android, 9 Pi. So with that being said, I don't think this is gonna, be a problem for most people at this price point just due to the optimization of hardware and software for the three AXL now.

One good thing you should keep in mind is that when you do decide to forego a glass phone for a plastic phone, you get a little better durability, because you're not likely to crack plastic I mean you're, not gonna. Do that, like you could with glass? Also, you get a lighter phone, so the Google Pixel 3a XL is 167 grams versus the 3x L, which is 184 grams. Higher number the heavier the phone is so pixel 3xl definitely have your phone, so you do get that benefit. If you like, a lighter phone, if you like a heavier phone you'll still like the three XL, so I haven't a cheaper option. Pixel is pretty awesome for those of you who thought pixel.

Prices were much too high. Now these new prices are more reminiscent of the nexus days. To be quite honest, now some people might not really prefer this. You know bezel design as we're getting more of a screen to body ratio. You also are going to lose this 630 GPU go to the 615, which still should be pretty acceptable, so really I'm not worried about the performance with the pixel 3 aces, so I will give you an update soon, but I'm sure it's going to be just fine.

This also gives you all of your favorite pixel features such as the nitrite mode, the portrait mode, the amazing camera quality that you're going to get from pixel, and that's really what's stunning: if you want an excellent camera, I mean some point-and-shoots can't even touch the pixel. To be quite honest with you. So really, this phone is pretty awesome in that regard. If you're picking up a phone just for camera, it's going to be hard to beat this thing. It's price point: now you do lose the wide-angle front-facing camera on this phone as well, which is kind of a bummer, but at the same time I wouldn't expect it which kind of sucks, because there is room for it right there, but at the same time, I'm.

Ok with it again considering the price point 479 now. This phone is also capable of recording up to 4k at 30 frames per second, which is great stuff, and it does give you a slightly worse front-facing camera of 2.0. So that's one area, you are gonna, get a little of a worse camera, but you still get stereo speakers here. You still get Bluetooth, 5.0, so I think sacrifices. Google went with we're pretty smart here.

I think you do get a very good phone here for the money so far from what I'm seeing. But there is a lot of competition for this phone. However, you know stock Google, Android experience, something you should not forget is that most Android phones do not get updated as frequently and as fast as the Google Pixel experience. So that's something you have to keep in mind when you are deciding is the pixel 3 AXL going to be worth it for me now because of the adaptive smart battery modes that are in this phone, we should get me pretty. We should be getting pretty good battery life for this device.

Also, 3700 William hour battery is not anything to laugh at that's a pretty good-sized battery in this device, especially considering it's a 1080p display- and it also is you know, optimized by Google for hardware and software, so I'm expecting excellent battery life for this phone, especially if you do some, you know power saving tips as well. So let's take a look at that fabric case now. For the device right here, you can see it's a really nice fabric, I mean it just. It just feels very like well put together and inside here. It's a really soft touch material.

So perfect protection here feels nice offers a solid enough protection, I think at least to get you started here on the device or, if you just like a thin case, you don't like bulky cases, you'll love this case right here. In addition, you can see it does expose a little right. There, perfect cutout for the camera, perfect cutout for the fingerprint sensor, which is on the back and down here, exposes the USB port right there now remember also, even though you do have a headphone jack here, you can also listen to audio through that USB see if you so choose. Well, that's it! That's the Google Pixel 3xl! We don't need to go on and on about it, it's a budget, pixel 3d device right here, a cheaper device for some people. It's not gonna, be budget, but for others you know paying 854 it pixel 3xl.

This is a massive discount of a device right here. However, you know discounts on the pixel 3xl being found third-party. You could probably still get this one if you want the more premium pixel three right here but I- think it's a good offering from Google and I really appreciate teen pixels, sending this one out.
