Hey guys, my name is SE Chi, and I've been using my Google Pixel 3 ever since I reviewed it back in January, so now I think it is time to review it and tell you guys what it's been like to use this phone for pretty much six months. You could also see this review as a follow-up of my original review so enjoy, but first, I just want to thank you guys for the amazing feedback of the original review of the pixel 3 I did it was my very first Tech video and seeing how well it did make me really happy. It was fun. Reading all the nice comments and I really just want to say thank you alright and now, let's get into the video so using the pixel 3 was simply amazing. It is for sure the best one I ever had to this day in terms of camera, software and even performance, unlike some other reviewers have mentioned in the past, but not to say everything was perfect if I had to nitpick. I would still find some imperfections here and there, even though it is super close to being perfect, and let's start off this review with.
Of course, the camera, the pixel 3s camera is the best camera. I have every use on a smartphone. The low-light photos come out great and in general, the quality and the sharpness of the pictures is straight-up incredible and the night mode is equally great and hasn't disappointed me not even once I've taken so many pictures with already and the whole camera app is great -. He launches very quickly, so I can take a picture without missing the moment so overall in the camera department, no issues here and the software on the pixel didn't disappoint either the digital well beam features like focus mode, bedtime mode and so on are super nice to have, and I pretty much use them every single day see how much time you spend in apps and adding app timers is another great feature, though I still find myself deleting the timer or adjusting it if I still have something important to do so you can always cheat is what I'm trying to say? What's also great, with the pixel 3 and pretty much every single other pixel, except the original pixel r. I.
p, or what Google calls feature drops, which are basically small software updates which Google releases every month, and they bring small changes and bug fixes to your device, and they have been super agreed to have and in general Google stock version of Android on the pixel has been spotless, fast and easy to use, though I'm, not a big fan of the AMOLED dark-themed present in the notification shade and Settings app, so I'd love to have an option for a more gray or dark theme like on a lot of Google Apps. But that's just me so. Overall, the software and the pixel was a plus I, also enjoyed using the system. Dishes Google introduced with an aura 10 I found them really snappy, and I also really enjoyed using other gestures, like sliding your finger on the fingerprint sensor to drop the notification shade or using flip to shoot, which enables do not disturb when you flip your phone on a screen, though I didn't really end up using the special features like live. Caption.
I covered in my original review and now the display it has been equally awesome. The colors are vibrant and rich though it just doesn't get pride enough outdoors, and that is super annoying, especially in the summer like now, but for watching videos, the excellent front-facing stereo speakers are loud and sort of make up for those chunky and outdated bezels of the pixel 3 I also didn't notice any hits in performance. It has been consistently great and honestly in the Snapdragon 845 and the 4 gigs of ram were just enough for me. I also don't game very often on my phone as I have a PC for that. So for general browsing and social media.
The pixel 3 has excellent performance and a real thing that that has something to do with the software optimization Google implemented on the pixel 3, and that brings us to the last segment of the six months later review the battery life and I have to say it's not too bad. So generally I get around 5 to 6 hours of screen on time and that's when I'm on a trip and watched a lot of YouTube and use. My phone a lot but on everyday basis, I, usually keep it on my wireless charger, but really the pixel 3 is battery. Life depends on your own usage as the adaptive battery feature optimizes the pixels' battery, based on how you use your phone, so your mileage may vary, but at least for me and battery life was also pretty great and that pretty much wraps up the six months later view that Google Pixel three and if you have any questions, feel free to comment down below and I will be sure to answer them.
