Google Pixel 2 : Should You Upgrade to Pixel 4a? By MJ Reviews

Hey everybody how you're doing today, so I've been receiving requests regarding the pixel 2 lately, and should I actually upgrade to the 4a and compared to the 4a, specifically not the 5, not the 4a, plus uh we're talking about something that is actually um almost similar to the 4a. So if you have this phone like few years ago and still using it, I actually would not advise you to upgrade if it's even considered an upgrade to 4a, because the pixel 2 is still a great phone. To be honest with you, when you compare spec by spec, it is still as good as the 4a. So let's take a quick look at what we have here. We have the camera. It's still the same camera, the software.

It is android, so it's the same software uh to come to the build quality. Actually here we have the better build quality. We have aluminum rounds and help polycarbonate here, and we have a glass. So it's basically quality wise. When it comes to the uh the build quality, it is actually slightly better than the plastic, okay or actually better than plastic, not slightly so yeah.

I would actually do not uh advise you to upgrade a less unless, unless you look to, unless you flip the phone on its face, then you see the bezels okay. So we have a big bezel over here. The pixel 2 has a front facing speakers. They're good. The quality is nice uh.

The clarity is nice, but the volume is not that high. Okay, the volume is what makes this not that much. But if you had like very good, if it has like 40 increase in volume, it will be the best front speakers. Unfortunately, it was very low and Google's did not fix the uh. This volume thing with the speakers, so we have a big bezel.

As you can see, the 4a has a full screen without buzzers and a dot camera on their corner. So this is the only thing I would give the 4a an advantage over the pixel 2. Uh. It comes to the processor. We have the snapdragon 8 35, so the 835 is actually a very good processor.

Compared to today's standards. I played the game of ginseng effect, and you can see this in my video. I uh you know below. Furthermore, I played the pixel 2, you can go to the pixel playlist. You can check out the pixel all the pixel videos, pixel 2 videos, uh testing this phone over there, so it's equivalent, if not even better, a little better or even equivalent to the uh snapdragon 730 g, so yeah, it's even better yeah.

Actually, it's better slightly better, but the only downside with this processor, though it does get hot a little. So that's that's! The only thing that you can be so long-term gaming is not viable to be honest with you uh yeah. That's it guys uh! That's the only difference! So if you have a pixel 2, I would advise you to keep your pixel 2 until we have something like a size of a pixel, 2 or 4a with dual camera ultra-wide. Maybe the pixel 5, you would say. Oh, can I compare this to the pixel 5 yeah.

Of course, if it's a pic, if it's a pixel 5, if it's, if you want to jump from pixel 2 to pixel 5, then this is a good job that would be reasonable job. You can jump from pixel 2 to the pixel 5, and you get like a good performance increase, especially with the quality with the dual camera, so yeah, but the between the pixel 2 to the 4a. I would not advise you to go and switch the phone unless you, of course, you cracked, your screen or something happened, you're fun, so yeah.
