Google Pixel 2, Nintendo Tastes Disgusting, Cheap PC Games! -- Weekly Download #34

Hey welcome to Zach's Sector and weekly download episode, number 34, which is my weekly tech and PC gaming news series. Today, I'm going to be playing a brand new free-to-play first-person shooter line of sight, while I give you this news, and I'm going to be sipping on a Coke Zero make sure you guys. Let me know in the comments section while you're sipping on let's get into it to start off the tech news, AMD rising was officially released and notice. How I put this in the tech news and not the PC gaming news? There have been hundreds of reports complaining about the gaming performance of Prison, which may or may not even be legit, but people need to realize that these eight core 16 thread processors are built with productivity, rendering and things other than gaming in mind, as well. I've seen numerous YouTube videos from respectable channels that have proven that there's not a gaming issue, but others are complaining bottom line. We need to wait for optimizations for software games and even operating systems until we can truly see what all these cores are capable of.

Please be patient people moving on to the other news dominating headline this week. The Nintendo Switch has finally released on Friday. Make sure you guys. Let me know if you pick this up, although there's not that many titles that interest me at launch. For some reason, I really feel the need to buy this I'm sure I don't have to explain what the switches do you guys, so I'll? Let you know about something that you might not be aware of.

Nintendo was worried about small children pulling out the included SD card and swallowing it, so they applied the worst-tasting chemical on the planet. To it a bunch of people have been trying to put it in their mouths on YouTube, it's hilarious, but I would recommend doing it in Morse, which news both the joy, Khan and switch pro controllers are compatible with other devices such as phones in your PC. It won't work right out of the box. You'll have to install a third party utility to map the buttons. For now this is pretty cool, but it was obvious that they would work since they connect via Bluetooth.

I, don't really see many games thinking of Vantage of this on the PC, but you never know. Google officially announced this week that their new flagship phone, the pixel, will be getting a follow-up this year. They didn't announce much about this, but did include that the pixel will stay a premium phone and there are no plans for creating a budget option anytime soon. The pixel and pixel XL have been a huge success, and I'm really only hearing good things about them, so the second version surely will dominate I'm sure and, as we can see with this AMD Intel thing more competition in the phone world is always better for the consumer and finally to wrap up tech news. Fitbit is added again with the new ultra band, but this time with heart rate monitoring, you guys know, I love, fit tech and my Fitbit Alta make sure you check out my review if you haven't already, but the only thing I didn't like about my Alta is the lack of HR monitoring.

The new Alta is pretty much the exact same slim Fitness band as before, but now can monitor your heart rate. I. Personally, don't think it's worth the $150 price tag to upgrade my original also, but if you're looking for a fitness tracker that doesn't look ridiculous and isn't a huge watch, I definitely recommend checking this out. Alright, let's start off PC gaming news with some good news. Shall we, the gog.

com spring sale, is officially underway and there's some really great titles here? Gog is a fully legit site. If you're wondering I've personally bought some games off there, so I recommend checking out the deals to showcase some good ones. The Witcher 3 game of the year is down to 30 Dragon Age Origins, Ultimate Edition is at 5 and pillars of eternity is down to 9 bucks. There's over 500 games on sale, so I'm sure you'll find something next up. Ghost Recon wild lands, launched on Tuesday and I.

Hope you guys don't hate me for not posting any benchmark. Videos wild lands had a super long open beta that everyone was checking out just a few weeks ago, so I'm pretty sure. By now that most people already know if their system can run the game or not, also because I'm personally not interested in the game, I just don't think I'm going to buy this one in benchmark it. Next up. Racer officially announced this week the launch of their new digital wallet system, which includes two new currencies, z-code and z, silver z.

Gold is basically real money that you deposit that can only be used on Racer products and a few gaming websites that Racer has teamed up with and Z silver is a currency that you earn by spending money in these places, and it's sort of a reward system. So far, this just seems like a way for people to earn a little of Awards for buying Racer products, but since I'm still using a razor mouse, I'm going to check this one out for you guys and in the next upcoming weeks, I'll report back. If it's worth it or not, might even make a full video on it. Do you remember that game? No man's sky that launched horribly last year well, like I've, said in other weekly downloads. The developer hello games is still trying to push out content and keep the game alive.

They announced that the newest update, called the Pathfinder update will be releasing this week. All we really know so far is that a land-based buggy of some sort will be introduced for transportation, but there could definitely be some more goodies inside when writing this piece. I just checked on Steam how no man's guy was looking these days, and somehow it's still $60 and only 475 people are currently playing ouch and finally, to wrap up PC gaming news. On a good note, a Microsoft senior product manager has announced that the Xbox settings in Windows 10 will soon be on the normal settings page. Instead of that annoying Xbox app.

How many of you have started CSGO and gotten to the page? Where explains how game DVR can hinder performance, and it shows you how to turn it off? It's not an easy process. With the new creators update. All the settings are revolving around gaming will be in the normal windows Settings app, and this is a huge quality of life improvement before letting you guys go. I wanted to quickly introduce my gaming chair, sponsor PC, the PC sponsor or not is the coolest chair I've ever put my butt in, and I highly recommend. You guys check out my full review.
