Oneplus 8 Series OxygenOS 11 O/B 10 REVIEW! Battery Backup, Camera Samples & Gaming! ALMOST PERFECT

What's up guys welcome back to yet another review. Recently OnePlus rolled out new update for OnePlus 8 series, which also the beta channel today in this video, we'll review that particular update, so without wasting any more time, let's get started, so I've been using this update since it was released for OnePlus 8 series and till now one thing I would like to inform you guys that this is one of the stable build which I've ever used it on my OnePlus 8 series, though it's on the beta channel, but till now I did not encounter any kind of major issues. I also went through all the comments on our previous video of this update to check out what all issues you guys have been facing. So let's take a look: what all minor bugs available on this build and whether it can be used as daily driver or not, as we all know, with this update, OnePlus added this Bitmoji feature with the always on display and few users were reporting that this isn't working properly. For me till now, I haven't faced any kind of issues on this build related to Bitmoji. If you guys are facing any kind of issues, I would request you guys to clear the caches and data of Bitmoji, or you can also boot your device into recovery and wipe caches from there.

That should hopefully fix the issue. One minor issue, what I personally found while using this build, is related to Facebook, and that issue is, if you're, watching Facebook videos on your device and when you close the Facebook application video continues to play. In the background, here's the screen recording, which you can take a look, I'm not exactly sure it's an issue with OS or Facebook. If you guys are also facing this issue, then do let me know in the comment section below another thing which I did not like about this beta moi is related to this background, downloading of Bitmoji stickers pack and that's kinda, irritating. I think OnePlus should fix this issue and downloading of Bitmoji stickers pack should run in the background, if required, and trust me guys after the previous update of OnePlus 8 series based on beta channel loading, speed of photos in the gallery have been reduced drastically, and I think, in this update also bit of optimizations have been done related to gallery so on OnePlus 8 series people who are running beta program have no complaints about loading, speed of photos in the gallery application so here thumbs up to OnePlus, for that most users have also been asking about this bubble feature on beta 10.

So let me clear one thing about it. This bubble feature sometimes work with telegram app but is not being supported by WhatsApp. As you can see here when I initially turned on this feature, I was able to use this bubble chat feature, but now, if I am trying to use this feature, it doesn't work. I am not exactly sure. What's the issue, few users have been reporting that this feature is working fine for them, but for me, it's not working continuously.

You guys. Let me know in the comment section below whether this feature is working for you, guys or not, and if it's working, which all applications are being supported and another comment which I saw on that particular video was related to heating of device while charging. So I've tested that also device slightly warms up while charging, but there were no major heating issues to be seen while charging the device. If you guys, are facing much of heating issue, I would request you guys to turn on the optimized charging feature and if you have already turned it on, then try turning off this feature and then charge your device, because I charge my device where ambient temperature is around 40 degree Celsius. Still, I was able to see some minor heating and I won't consider that is the heating of the device.

It's obvious that your device was slightly warmer while charging and another user also commented that assistive lightning doesn't work while unlocking the device in dark conditions, but I've personally tested on my device. There are no issues late to assistive lightning, while using face unlock if you're comparing assistive lightning, which used to be on android 10, then I would say there are slight changes done here. Your device screen doesn't light up completely. It only lights up, depending on how much light is required to unlock the device. So I personally don't have any kind of issues later to assistive lightning, so guys these are few minor issues.

What I have come across using open beta 10 on my OnePlus 8. Now, let's talk about the battery backup what I have been getting after this update here. I have two cycles of battery drain overnight and battery backup. What I have been getting on this update with the first cycle, I got 3 hours and 31 minutes of screen on time in which always on display was turned on second cycle. I got 4 hours and 11 minutes of screen on time and that always on display was turned off and in always on display.

I was using this new feature of Bitmoji talking about overnight battery drain, with always on display. First day, I noticed 10 percent of battery drain. In seven hours with day two, when I turned off the always on display, there was only four percent of battery drain to be noticed, and in all these scenarios I was using mobile data. So for me, battery backup seems to be decent on this build. So now, let's move on to the camera part after updating the device.

You'll get a better idea whether there are any kinds of improvements with related to camera or not, and here are few samples clicked after updating the device to the latest version. Overall, I am happy with the camera quality after this update, but if OnePlus optimized the front camera well then it will be a great thing. I can still see slightly over exposing the picture quality while clicking pictures with front camera and another thing which I have noticed while clicking pictures of animals using portrait mode with main camera, which just seems to be grayish color, and this is the first time I'm clicking pictures of animals in portrait mode. If you guys also get the similar colors, then do. Let me know in the comment section below other than that camera seems to be doing a great job while clicking pictures in the normal lighting condition, and I'm pretty amazed with the pictures clicked in night mode.

Here are few photos clicked in night mode. So overall camera is doing a great job on this particular update. Last, but not the least. Let's also take a look at the gaming performance on this particular update. I'll also be doing a complete gaming test once I'm back to Bangalore and if you guys are not aware, OnePlus have added this new fps meter on the beta builds for OnePlus 8 series, where you can continuously monitor your fps GPU information and CPU information.

I played multiple games after updating the device to beta 10, and I did not find any kind of issues related to fps drop or much of heating. Furthermore, I can't say much about heating issues, because here in Delhi, ambient temperature is around 40 degree Celsius. That's why I'll be doing a complete gaming test once I reach Bangalore. Meanwhile, you can take a look at this. Small game.

Expired target down enemy down nice shot. The blue team is in the lead, kill spree for the red team to win, the red team doesn't have a lot of time. Left half of the match is over, and the blue team is in the so guys. This was the complete review of oxygen OS open beta 10 for one plus 8 series. If you still have any kind of questions or issues then do.

Let me know in the comment section below this: is your friend Ashok signing out, see you guys in the next video you.
