Galaxy Tab S7 vs. iPad Air 4 in 2021 - Which is Better?

So in this video I'm going to do a quick comparison of the iPad Air 4 against the Galaxy Tab, s7 approximately at the same price point the Galaxy Tab. S7 is currently 580 dollars for the Wi-Fi version, and that comes with 128 gigabytes of storage. And then you get the iPad Air 4, which is currently 600, but you only get 64 gigabytes of storage and that's the two versions I'm going to compare in this video. But you can check the description of the video for current pricing, more information and other versions of each tablet. So let's go ahead and get started iPad. Air 4 has a 10.9 inch display that goes up to 2160p resolution and then on the Galaxy Tab. S7 you've got an 11-inch display that goes up to 1440p resolution, so slightly better resolution on the iPad, but not a huge difference between these two now the iPad actually has a better night mode, but on the Galaxy Tab s7, the screen is a little brighter on the max brightness setting you'll get a slightly wider screen on the iPad, which does make things look a little different when you're browsing online or just using certain apps in general, when watching videos, they both look probably better than every other tablet that I have well, except maybe the Lenovo tab, p11 pro that one's probably right up there with these two, the color seems a little more muted or natural on the iPad and a tad over saturated on the Samsung tablet.

Having said that, I prefer the Galaxy Tab s7 slightly over the iPad, because the black bars on the top and bottom when watching videos are a little smaller on the Galaxy Tab. S7- and I don't know I just kind of like it to be a little more punchy as far as colors go, and I just like that. It's a little brighter display when it comes to battery life on these two tablets. It's not really, as close as you would think. During my battery drain test on the iPad, it only lasted 5 hours and 15 minutes.

That's not really that good, that's slightly below average, when it comes to other tablets at this size, somehow the Galaxy Tab, s7 lasted 7 and a half hours before it died completely, and that's actually slightly above average. So yeah, it's not really. That is close. If you want the tablet with the batter battery life, you'll definitely want to go with the Galaxy Tab s7 now, obviously, when it comes to performance, both of these tablets are perfect and probably better than most other tablets out there. You will get higher geek bench scores on the iPad, even though it has less ram than the Galaxy Tab s7, but both tablets are nice and snappy you're not going to see hardly any lag when using either tablet, and that goes for gaming or just moving around the software or pretty much whatever you're doing same thing, with gaming you're going to get real nice HD graphics, with high frame rates on both of these tablets.

So, even though you'll get slightly higher performance on the iPad Air 4, I don't think you can go wrong with either of these tablets when it comes to gaming, and you might just want to check on the app store versus google play to see which one has games that you're going to play more often, I tested PUBG mobile Call of Duty mobile and asphalt 9 and yeah. They all play really nice and smooth. If you're looking for a gaming tablet yeah, you definitely want to look at both of these. Now, with the Galaxy Tab. S7, you are going to get the s pen included, which to me, is a huge selling point over the iPad Air 4.

If you're looking to do drawing taking notes, pretty much anything you're going to use an s, pen or Apple Pencil for both of these are perfect. The only thing I will mention one thing that I did notice when drawing for whatever reason the Galaxy Tab s7 seemed a little better on palm rejection than the iPad Air 4. Now that could be depending on which app you're using to draw. But that's just what I noticed in my testing now. Cameras on both of these tablets are perfect as well.

Some of the best you'll find on tablets not quite as good as you're going to find on cell phones, but I think you can get some decent photos and video from both of these and again, it's way too close to call it's pretty much a toss-up. Here's, a few samples of photos and video. Just to give you an idea of what to expect from each tablet do hey. Ah now, when it comes to software on both of these tablets, it's actually closer than what you would think. If you use gestures on the Galaxy Tab, s7, it even makes things.

Look very similar to how the iPad is when you close recent apps go back to the home screen and so on. One thing I do like on the iPad, though, is how they make buttons larger and a little easier to use than on the Galaxy Tab, s7. Even on things like the lock screen, passcode and keyboard, the iPad might have a slight advantage because it's going to have more apps that are optimized for tablets. I actually like both of these, and I think it's going to come down to your personal preference. Another feature that's really close on both of these is when it comes to the speakers.

They both sound, really nice and loud again, probably some of the best you're going to find on tablets, especially in this price range. It does seem that the Samsung speakers are slightly louder, but they don't necessarily sound better. I don't really think you can go wrong with either of these here's a quick sample to give you an idea of what to expect from each in today's video we're going to look at the new Pandora box 18s pro. This has over 8 000 games with LED lights and yeah. The shape of this one actually looks somewhat familiar in today's video we're going to look at the new Pandora box 18s pro, and this has over 8 000 games with LED lights and yeah.

The shape of this one actually looks somewhat familiar if you want to search for a specific game, just hit the two buttons at the top, where the one player start button is which is nice if you're looking for a specific game on Nintendo, 64 or dream cast, but I have to admit it's kind of weird to play. Some of these games on an arcade stick versus on a console, but hey at least they're, giving you that option. So hopefully, this video gave you a little closer look at the Galaxy Tab, s7 and iPad Air 4.

, as you can see, there's only a couple categories where one tablet definitely beats the other, but as you can also see in most categories, these two tablets are gonna, pretty much be neck and neck, and I think for me, I would probably choose the Galaxy Tab s7 over the iPad Air 4, just because the better battery life, and it's just a little better aspect ratio for watching videos, which is what I use tablets for the most. So if you've made it this far into the video you may want to say thanks by subscribing and don't forget, to give a thumbs up. If this video was helpful, this is Brian from fish bee productions. Thanks for watching, and I'll see you on the next one.
