Enable Kids Mode on Any Android Phone or Tablet [How-To] By Gadget Hacks

Hey, what's up everybody Neil here today, I'm going to show you how to enable kids mode on your Nexus device. This will come in handy when you're handing your device off to your little ones, and they want to play a game or watch Netflix. It seems that they always wander off into applications. They should in like your gallery or maybe conversation whatever the reason this will allow you to basically restrict them from using any application other than the ones that you dictate they can use. So what you'll need is a rooted device which is extremely easy to acquire now, and you will need exposed framework for those two things check out the full article. It's called kids mode and let's show you how to use it. So once you get it off, set up you just open it. It's pretty basic and straightforward. First thing you want to do is change your unlock password or set it now. The default will always have to be one two, three four which is kind of a bummer, because I figure that the first thing a kid is going to type in for a passcode is one two, three four.

So hopefully, with an update, we'll be able to change that, and then you set your own custom one after that. Okay, the next thing you want to do is go to the kids' application with the free version you have access to up to three apps. If you want, if your kid needs more than that, then you can get the paid version, which is 199 off Google Play, but I figured three is enough: they can have two games and Netflix or three games whatever you want, so you just go through and pick the applications that you think they should have access to I'm just going to do a bunch of games or maybe all you can do Netflix here we go, so that's it. So they'll have access to those three now you're going to enable kids mode and hand it off to them. So this is kids mode and if you notice right away on the bottom, it actually removed my recent app key soft key.

So they have no access to the recent apps and if they hit home key, they actually won't go anywhere. But if they're inside an application- and they hit Hodgkin they'll- be right back to kid mode. Now, this works best with devices with soft keys as I used it on a when I use it on a galaxy, s4 I was able to use the keys below the recent app to access other applications and kind of trick that check this app from restricting me and then right here you can unlock it using one two, three four or the code you set so definitely check it out, check out the full article for links and everything you need.
