Coolpad Cool 1 Unboxing (Indian Unit) and Hands-on Overview

What's happening eyes, it's have enough from phone punch and this is our unboxing of the cool pad cool one. Now this was launched in China earlier, and the one we are taking a look today is the Indian variant. Now the cool one dual comes with the snapdragon 65 ? outscore processor, four gigs of ram 32 gigs of storage. There are two rear cameras here which we will talk about now inside the box. You get your screen guard. You have some documentation right there as well, then you get your sim ejector pin.

Furthermore, you have a USB type-c port here, so USB type-c, ? USB data syncing and charging cable, it's reversible there, and you have a 2 amp USB wall charger. Now, yes, this is not a fast charger, but still it would get the job done. This is all that you get within the box with the cool one dual. Now, let's have a look at the phone itself, so you started booting up the phone and first, let's just go through the build of the device. Then we talked about everything else now on the right.

You will find two metal buttons. The volume rocker, as well as the power button, both are sturdy, and they do offer good feedback. The phone is rounded on the sides, as you can see, so it does make it easier to grip and hold at the top you'll find a 3.5 mm audio jack, as well as an infrared blaster. Now, yes, this one does look quite familiar to the like Oh, ? and well. They share the hardware as well as the design at the bottom.

You'll find a single speaker and the USB type-c port, and this is a dual-sim smartphone with Waldo support, but you can't expand storage, but it's mostly about those rare cameras, 13 megapixels, dual rear cameras and well they do a lot more than that and he also a fingerprint sensor right there. Surprisingly, even with that massive 4060 William hour battery, the phone doesn't feel hefty at all. It actually feels good to hold in hand the fingerprint sensor that works very well. Coming to the front. You have a notification, LED, 8, megapixel, front camera, proximity and light sensors and just below the display of capacitive buttons, which do light up, and talking about that display, it's a 5.5 inch 1080p panel. There is some protection on top at know what exactly that is, but there is some protection there and well.

Those bezels do distract a bit from that brilliant display because it has very wide viewing angles: good color, reproduction ?, yes, the whites do tend to be slightly towards the quarter side, but overall, this is a very good displays plenty sharp. Now, let's talk about those cameras. Now the camera actually takes images pretty quickly. The interface is quite fluid. You can record 4k videos and just see on the fly.

You can go ahead and change the aperture now. That is what that second camera is used for to calculate depth as well as refocusing later when an image has been captured. We have seen this implementation earlier as well, and it actually does work quite well. Colors did pop up quite a lot. You can see that shallow depth of field there, so, yes, this camera seems to be very promising.

You can see the same shot with different points in focus. Even the front-facing camera did a pretty decent job, but yes, I have to test it out. Quite a lot, more I did notice a little of noise in artificial lighting. But yes, a lot of testing remains to be done here with that, let's get to software now the cool one is running on Legos EU, so it has more in common with the loo. Here you have Android since your own marshmallow, with November security patch.

That's actually very nice to see. Now this is the 32 gig variant out of which you'll get about 24 or gigs right out of the box and well you have 4 gigs of RAM, out of which, if no apps were running, we had about 2 gigs free. That did seem a bit less, but this sort of customization baked there lots of features. There are lots of themes, available, ? and well performance as well as memory management. It seemed good I didn't have any issues with multitasking apps opened up quickly, but yes, I haven't installed a lot of apps, yet, moreover, there is no bloatware on the device overall, the performance did seem quite good here.

I was actually quite excited about this one when it launched in China I, don't know the Indian pricing, yet I expect this one to be price under rupees 12000. If it comes in at that price, it would do what the like older to wasn't able to beat the Redmi Note 3, and before we end this video I just wanted to say that you have to do one more thing. Just click on that bell, icon next to subscribe, subscribe to our updates. Only then you will be able to see our videos in your feed. Google has done something to the YouTube algorithm, which makes it compulsory to do that.
