Blackberry KEYone Review (2019) By Najam Reviews

How's it going guys it's nice, welcome back to another video, so in this video I'm going to review the black pretty key one which I've been using for about two months. Maybe it's been longer than that I. Don't quite remember! When I got it boy was a while back. Let's start from the beginning, so I moved from the BlackBerry passport to the key one, and only I can hear the Android phone I. Actually don't miss the blackberry Passport when moving over to this one so well, the only things I do miss is you know, kind of the form factor of the passport. Maybe the display and the speaker- and you know little things like that, but these stuff over here that display and everything is no part.

But what I mean by I didn't miss the passport. Is that this Android Blackberry launcher is a lot better than what used to be I, think where, when they start off with this they've implemented a lot of the thing from blackberry 10 over to this. So if you remember the BlackBerry's remember up whenever she split up into notes and tasks up over here, I'm, not gonna, try blurry out, but you have the tasks over here, which you can only take off, and you put reminders on now. Ah, you got the hope which I'm going to blow our as well because of combined emails on the, and you know a lot of the BlackBerry 10 features they are on this. Actually, the file monitor manager that came with this atrocious, so I didn't really use I got this CX file manager and that works really, really well I.

Actually like this one better, then the one that came with it, I mean I, actually don't miss the BlackBerry passport. The first time, I'm actually saying that you know when I'm jumping over to an Android phone in 2019. This is a ancient device and, although spec wise is not really the best again, it's got a decent mid-range, CPU I wish it could have been faster, but I, don't think even needs to be fastest. Fine I do have a problem with it. I mean overall, the device is really, really good.

The Cameras code, the displays nice, the speakers are good, is gorgeous, but I see for charging and the design is nice. Build quality is dismantled, but there's just one thing. This is very guessed: huh, and here is the kind of creak sound coming from that now. What part from that? Everything else is just a really solid device. It's costume weight with the design size I mean overall I actually do like the device.

If so, please only advice, but I think this is one thing that I don't like boy, and I'll get onto that later on. I want to talk about the keyboard, so I'll just go ahead and open up word over here. Never go word right. I, don't like this word I like the one on the plaque, pretty 10-4. Let's make a new one over here.

Okay, so this keyboard is a lot better than the BlackBerry passport. I guess you can say, because it has a lot more features, so you can obviously do the swipe typing thing which I almost never use, because it's just a bit. It's just to be I used to use this all the time on. The black pretty fast because ours are just a flick up and boom, is doing this one well. Actually, D.

You can swear, go back to delete the words that you've typed, but the problem is this bottom one is not as sensitive as the rest of it and that's a bit annoying so, and you can double tap, and they'll, bring up this thing, which you can actually I. Think if you press shift, you can start selecting it, and although I mean it's just like the blackberry Passport, if you swipe down which you've got, the thing is not pop up just like on blackberry, 10 and if you, if you press this put on or if you press these three lines over here, you go into this, and this is basically what the black body passport is missing. So you've got the emojis which I never use. You've you've got the keyboard settings which you can jump into, and then you've got. You know the selecting.

This is much better than what you know. You have to use the keyboard, so you can press that, and then you can Philippine go up and down select the words and all that- and this is just a lot- nice garden type of paragraph- I'm not really the best typing on this keyboard, and you've got so. You can actually select ax, and then you can select. Furthermore, you can just select the oil, and it's a lot better, and you can copy it right. Furthermore, you can go all the way down to here, and then you can shift V to paste it right and then, if I was to go and select e again, where has it gone slack tail of trip neck yeah I mean this.

Did the problem here is the word. The word up is actually not all that good right. You can have actually enabled this in the keyboard. Sayings shift C to copy what in the freaking world I don't know. Oh, it's the other C with that shift C to copy, and then you can just paste it that works really well.

Is this more and more buy more? Okay? There we go, as you can probably see the better. Now, if you this is why I hate word: I got I like a black like black, pretend you got the clipboard here, so you can actually copy and paste it. It's probably go yeah, all the other stuff. Now let me go and show you the sayings actually I think I might be able to just jump into it from here. Never really do this, but if I think you hold this, it takes to the keyboard things so over here, you've got a swipe typing in which you can enable on the physical keyboard and I did try this.

It was well boy I'd, already like it. I show you how it works, so you can just try hello. This is not gonna work, it works, but I, don't think, is the most accurate. Let's see it was well did K all of that right. Poor I, don't really use it.

I, don't know why you asked me: you've also got the other things as if you go on gestures, we can obviously swipe down to get a simple dope. I actually took a look at this reason. He exactly enabled I didn't actually have the on you've got whether you also got the keyboard as a word substitution thing, so you can type like TH, X, and it'll turn down into thunks, which you can also you have to put on yourself they've, all these other ones. Well, the last features I disabled, the dignity, dictation, key because, freaking annoying. Here we go so use that key for other control key, so you can actually do control, don't do and all that kind of stuff, that's pretty cool, so here's the physical ones, I've got a right shift.

You can have left shift as well. That's all! Well, there's probably a lot more than you can do per the soul of corn right now. Okay, so that's basically how you type on this. The other thing is with the BlackBerry 10 launcher. I mean black.

Put it launched on Android. Are you can have these keys mapped to an app? So you can press R for ready. I've got Y for YouTube, which is not for thumbprint thing. There you go so again. It's not the fastest you've got n to take notes.

That goes into word. You've got em for my music that you've called seeds, probably for calendar, a that calendar a for Amazon and then each for eBay and stuff I've basically gone all them up, and it works. It was really, really nice. What means that you can have a blank page with a nice wallpaper, then you can just tap upon to go into an up-bow, a fine massage. You know what I'm typing I, don't really use the swiping things I just type in click.

The freaking word that pops up now. Let me talk about the local things. If you swipe down, as you go a locker now, this is basically like an up lock or some Electra. You can add ups here, and this can lock them up. So I've got these.

So you know when somebody steals your device, which is almost unlikely once they get to the password, which is again that's on print, or you can type a password they're gonna. If they try to do some a little go another one boy I mean if they can't get in. You know figure out the finger in a chop. Your finger off do whatever you want now. Let me get on to the parts store.

So when this came as you can see, the BlackBerry priority work thing is disabled, that is in here in the display settings and that's because if I go into power manager power center for going to memory, this is look at this. So if I, if you have the priority, hope on it takes of 500 megabytes of RAM, which is absolutely insane I mean all the messages are going to go over there. They're going to come on top over here, anyways in here so kind of really not not really a point in even having the on. You can change the backlighting on the keyboard. I've got a dimmed down cause.

It already need it up right. You know, you've got all these. Why is this still open? Does the thing with this phone in stock and I didn't think it would have been a problem? Oh crap, now knocking a screenshot. Why do I? Do this bbm, joke okay, so the problem with this phone is that it's only got three gigs of RAM, which you might think is an is decent I mean that's. Why so I mean blackberry, Passport, three gigs of RAM and you can run like a UPS simultaneously.

This thing allows you to only roll one up our time, and that is crucial. For me, multitasking is just absolutely absurd on this thing, so you open, wound up, let's say ready, which takes up all of us Ramsey. Obviously, if you have to light up open, you can use them like, ah obviously, but even then they actually tend to show over, and you open the Firefox, which takes up like five hundred or some odd megabytes. Now, if you go ahead and multitask like this, okay, to undo the spoil a scope on this line. Now, if you display screen, that's fine right, you go to apps open over here.

They'll work as long as you keep using them, but the problem is: if you close all this you've got like you know: certain apps opened right and if you go switch between either of them, it just closes the other ones down, and it's so annoying and I. Don't know! Why actually does this? Obviously it's because it has three gigs of RAM. Now this isn't BlackBerry's fault, it's actually, untried is just taken up. So much from I mean look I, it's just weird I, don't know why a hundred needs this amount of RAM I mean this is a small phone. This is not a PC or something okay.

I don't want to be running Windows on here, taking up two gigs of RAM and stuff, like that. I want a smartphone that allows me to do stuff and this one it just takes to pull off from, so you see the problem, is the industry keeps moving right, and now the trend is to get as much RAM as possible, because apparently, if you do have, you know from you, can't multitask and is so annoying I mean I'm browsing ready, I come across a new word or someone and I want to go search. What that means I'm causing leaf, isn't my first language, I open up Firefox or even a link to a YouTube video from ready, ready, close is a when you open you up. It goes right to the top again, which is so annoying I mean that's the only problem. Half with this phone really is close.

Firefox go back to data and the things like going through the top, so I. So on I mean then you go back to Firefox and that's like open opening up a brand new blank pages. It's really, really annoying. Guitar I mean there are the little things as well that I don't like it slows down a little. It's not exactly a really faster device and uh I mean again I like really fast devices, I'm not going to graduate I.

Think everybody does, but this thing does slow down a little. They are times now. Let's talk about the battery life, which I mean it's USB. It takes not a long time to charge, it doesn't know it does a fast charging book. I, don't think I.

Even do this fast, cutting out a knife, I even have a charger that boy. It doesn't take a long time to charge. You can also easily use a USB type-c stuff like a hard drive or whatever that's kind of power. A boy is going to work. You got the headphone jack, so you don't need to worry about having to charge and listening to someone.

At the same time, the party life on this I mean I, guess the reason they chose this CPU is the of glean I-264. So I currently show your boys a cause. Alright, the reason they chose the CPU is that it uses a low power and if you save some power instead of this going full work, that's fine! The only problem is I still have to charge every day. So again the if, if you, if I'm interviewing you or someone interviewing black buddy, why on earth did you even choose? Choose the CPU I mean honestly I have no problem. It is fine right for, if you're trying to save battery life, why don't just pour big a party in there cause nothing, really going to change.

If Is mean like how far do you think you're going to be able to go to this a little of more party Park, no more fizzy, instead of just making it thicker I mean I, don't mind thick devices. There's obviously falls out there with massive parties and like breaks, and therefore certain people, if you're gonna sacrifice on some CPU like that again I'm, not really complaining, all that much I'm just saying and making a sound, exactly eight and all four really there's no point sacrificing the amount of CPU power that you sacrifice together like walk another 15 minutes of battery life, because every at the end of every day after charger because it's on like 20 percent, which is fine, because if you don't ride it the next morning you wake up. We're going to have to charge it at that time anyway. So might as well just started. So thus does another thing: the product very possible I could last two days this kind last one if I use really heavily now.

One thing I'll just touch on this. Now this keyboard is not the best. Now the black pretty classics keyboard is the best I've used in my own ob2, it's sensitive in all voice, most click, and it's just the right size. It's actually bigger than this. This might be the smallest blackberry keyboard, I've used I.

Believe me, this is smaller than probably the q10 which came out and that was like when I first got it from the 1900. A massive is actually a lot smaller than the others. This key I have no problem typing on it is I can feel like more than one key at the same time, but even then I get the right key when I'm typing it's not the click. Yest boy is a decent, exactly decent keyboard. At least he has other functions like copy patient on that is.

That is this absolute notes? It is good. Probably the key too much about Casey, caustics, cubes or diamond is probably going to solve all the problems, but three gigs of ram is actually not I mean I thought it was enough. Is enough in if you really think about it, I mean you, don't even need five more than four and twelve for a mobile phone. It's just our Android just keeps pushing it even new updates taking more and more RAM usage and these unnecessary. That's the thing is you don't need to do it? You just want to do it cause.

You want to soak all the money anyways, let me know in the comment below is think about it. I'm actually going to use this boy will I am wanting to care for phone now and this kind of gadget to the keyboard cause. You got swag typing, and honestly I'm fine with that when you're typing emails and all this does come in handy if they're coming out with like the next key, will not smart I'll tell you what to do. Get the BlackBerry passport back in make it a three by four aspects: ratio and make a wide okay make like a decent big device that you can actually type on. This thing is a little small, in my opinion, anyways.
