BlackBerry KEY2 LE Unboxing!

What's we going to wear notices. It's your boy, Mr. CEO, Big, Father. Shame Utah of this beautiful awesome, fantastic technology, YouTube channel. That is we're noticing guys today in this we're in this video, we'll be unboxing this bad boy right here, the blackberry key to LE it is an Android phone with a full physical keyboard. That's crazy! So let's unbox this bad boy, wear notice on the baddest be met a lot of people but still don't know defeat running for the White House, but I am no athlete, got Jordan son my feet and haters and retreat wait.

I am the CEO competition, robotic column c-3po. So here we are up close and personal with the BlackBerry key to LE box. As you can see on the front, it talks about how it has 64 gigabytes of built-in storage, four gigabytes of RAM and also dual SIM compatibility, which is pretty cool. Now, if we come over here to the back, it talks more about the specs of this bad boy. Once again, it runs Android it.

Ships with Android, 8.1 I believe so, sadly, not Android, 9, PI and yeah. It also has a four and a half inch 16 20 by 1080 display, so definitely not as big as, for example, the iPhone 10s max, which has a six and a half inch screen. But this bad boy does have that built-in physical keyboard, so that doesn't make sense why the screen would need to be smaller. It also has 13 megapixels and 5 megapixel rear cameras, an 8, megapixel front camera and yeah a 3000 William hour battery and yeah. Now that you know all those specs without further ado, let's get to actually unboxing this bad boy, so we can just slide this cover off of the box, and then here it says, blackberry key to LE.

Obviously that is once again the name of the device. So let's see how do we open? This looks like there's a little arrow right here. Ooh, that's nice! Look at that! The way that opens okay, let's not get too distracted, though oh there. It is the BlackBerry key to LE and wow. This looks nice.

Look at that keyboard, Wow. Finally, I'm able to feel keys on a smartphone in 2018, not just glass, actual keys, ooh, ooh, look at this guy folks. Anyway, let's see what else is in the box and then get this bad boy all set up. So here it looks like we've got some paperwork, let's see if we can get this up and out so yep in here. Let's see, let's see, got ourselves some paperwork right there, also on the back.

We've got a little sim ejector tool and yeah. Also in the box right here we have some headphones that come with this bad boy, ooh one of the little ear, cups, falafels right and then right here. We also have a power brick, one of those little AC adapters for charging this bad boy for plugging into the wall and yeah. What else? What else? We also have right here? A USB-C, 2, standard, USB, cable, also, once again for charging this bad boy right there and yeah now without further ado, let's put all this stuff to the side and actually get to using the BlackBerry key to LE. So now folks I have the BlackBerry key to LE all setup so check this out right here is the space bar, but you know what else it is a fingerprint reader.

So I got it all set up with my thumbprint right here, so watch just tap and boom. Just like that and unlocks that quickly and yeah. As you can see, if you don't use the fingerprint reader look, you can go to the lock screen, but then boom just like that snappy, snappy I love that that's super-duper cool and yeah. So here it is all set up. Here is what it looks like by default.

It's also got some pre-installed apps on it, like the D Tech by BlackBerry, app. Let's check that bad boy out, so this bad boy seems like it's supposed to be like a security app for the BlackBerry. So let's check it out: let's, let's see so device status, excellent, that's good! It better be secure. Because I just bought it brand new. So yeah, that's good news.

What else? What else? If you go through here, one thing I noticed is: it also has Firefox focus the web browser pre-installed on here too, and that's supposed to be a privacy, as you can see, privacy oriented web browser so yeah one good thing about this phone. Besides just having a physical keyboard. Is it supposed to be perfect for privacy and security people so yeah I? Definitely like security I, definitely like secure devices. So I'm definitely happy about that. Let's see, let's see what other apps we got going on here, so bla, BLA, bla, let's see, let's see we got the BlackBerry Locker I believe this is a secure place to put your stuff yep.

This locker app is designed to help you hide and protect your photos. I have bla, BLA BLA BLA, that's what says right there. So now what other apps are there? There's a blackberry, redactor I, remember learning about this one ahead of time. So basically what this guy lets you do is, if you like, take a screenshot or something it lets you like to hide certain parts of the screen. So, like here's an example so see.

If you want to just like, for example, if you don't want someone to know this as apps right here, you just draw over it. Just like that, and now who knows what's there so like, maybe if you're taking a screenshot of one of your emails- and you don't want someone's email address to be in that screenshot boom, just like that blackberry redactor, so that's pretty cool again. This is a very, very cool device for people who once again need security, definitely like if you consider yourself a businessman as I do. This is probably a device you're going to enjoy based on my first impressions and yeah, because there's a lot of cool things on here, so blackberry messenger makes sense. This is a blackberry.

What else? What else? What else? Oh, and by the way, there's another cool app that I know comes pre-installed on this bad boy, this guy right here, privacy shade what this does are it makes it harder for people to like to look over your shoulder and read your screen. So again, if you're a very important person, maybe you don't want people peeking over at your phone, seeing what you're doing on there so yeah. So what you can do for this guy is seen. This is the area that you can see, and the rest is all shaded out, so you can, for example, make it more or less transparent. So like that, it's a hundred percent black right there and ya see so like look.

I could be looking at these apps right here, but you don't know what else I'm doing on my screen. So if we go to the home screen, look I'm just reading the time you don't know what else is on my screen. I could be, for example, maybe reading an email. Actually, you know I think I'm, gonna I'm go to Firefox focus, and I'm just going to read a web page and just show you guys what it will look like. So let's try out this physical keyboard and let's go to the Apple website, so apple.

com predicted it for me. So let's go to that and now look see you can't look at the whole website. You can just see at the most look I'm looking at the Apple logo. Look I'm reading about the iPhone 10s see, and you can't see the rest of my screen, which is just super-duper cool. So, let's go to like.

Let's learn more: let's learn more, so we can see what it looks like when I'm reading some text. Okay, see, look see. I can be sitting here. Reading this text right the rest of my screen. You can't see it so that yeah, that's pretty cool so anyway, let's exit out of this, how do we do that? Oh, yep just tap that button right there so now, folks, now that we've seen all those different apps, let's try out this physical keyboard, some more so here I am in the Google Docs app, as you can see this keyboard, although it's physical.

It also has this area right here where it can make text suggestions like a standard software keyboard and now, let's try typing some stuff, so hi my name is Shane, and I'm. The CEO of let's see where notice. Oh yeah, look at that. So very nice. My only mistake, I didn't capitalize CEO and also did not put an eye, therefore hi.

So, let's see, let's see, let's fix that right there so yeah before we end this video, let's also just test out the cameras, because that is definitely an important thing for smartphones. These days, you definitely want them to have good cameras. So, let's head to the camera app and let's see- let's see here we go so here is a picture of me from the rear camera and let's get one of me from the selfie camera, hello, hello, guys, cheese, selfie, camera and yeah very nice, very nice. Let's take a look at the quality of those bad boys, so yeah, lets one more thing: let's check out the actual hardware of this bad boy, so here on the back, as you can see here, are the dual rear cameras going on there's also a blackberry logo right here, there's this sort of textured back on this bad boy. It feels nice and soft, definitely not like those glass back phones that feel like well glass, this one it's textured and yeah over here on this side of the phone we've got a SIM card tray over here on this side, the phone we've got, this volume rocker it's a rocker instead of two different buttons.

So, for example, let's say, let's see when I turn on the phone, as you can see, when I touch the top part, it goes up when I touch the bottom part. It goes down and then right here, this button that you just saw me press. That is obviously the power on power off button. Put the display on put the display to sleep, as you can see right there, then right here this button right here. What was that dude? Let me show you so if we unlock the phone come right here, hold down this button, and it is the Google Assistant and also another thing about the hardware.

If you come up here, you've got a headphone jack, quite a rarity, just like a physical keyboard for smartphones in 2018 and also down here. You've got that USB-C port for charging, this bad boy up so yeah. Now that we've checked out the hardware of the phone, one thing I will say is I'm. Definitely glad blackberry came out with this bad boy because before they did, this is essentially the cheaper version of the BlackBerry key 2, which is just like this: an Android phone with a physical actual keyboard. Just like excuse me guys just like this, so yeah I'm definitely glad they came out with this cheaper version.

This bad boy starts at $450, whereas the standard KET starts at $200, more $650, so yeah and yeah with that that'll be all for this unboxing video, the BlackBerry key to Ellie, just a quick little video. If you want to learn more about this bad boy, definitely be sure to smash that subscribe button and subscribe to the awareness technology YouTube channel for more awesome technology. Videos just like this one, including my full review of the BlackBerry key to Ellie, once I, get that bad boy out so yeah.
