BlackBerry Key2 LE - Complete Review!

What's going on everyone, this is Kevin breeze here and in this video we're going to be checking out the new BlackBerry key to Ellie. This device sells for 399, which is $200 cheaper than the regular blackberry key to which I reviewed on my channel several months ago. The cheaper price, however, does come with some downgrades. The blackberry key to Ellie is factory, unlocked and works with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon, as well as smaller GSM prepaid carriers, the device features, 4G LTE connectivity, a Qualcomm, Snapdragon, 6:36, processor, 4, gigabytes of RAM, 32 or 64 gigabytes, an internal memory and has support for micros card expansion. In addition, the device features a 4.5 inch 1080 by 1620 display a 13, megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel secondary camera on the rear and an 8 megapixel front facing camera. There's also an FM radio inside and there's a 3000 William hour battery, that's non-removable.

The device features quick charge, 3.0 that allows it to charge to 50% in 36 minutes. This device features a great physical keyboard and software that is specifically optimized to enhance your productivity in the box move a variety of items. We have a wall adapter for charging, we have blackberry branded headphones, we have the USB type-c, cable for charging and data transfer. We have the sim removal tool, and we have some warranty and information literature and finally, we have the actual blackberry key to LE itself. The phone itself is very sleek and stylish on the front.

We have the earpiece front facing camera. The 4.5 inch display with capacitive navigation buttons in the physical QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard features a fingerprint sensor in the space bar which works really well. On the left side, we have the slot for the SIM card and micros cards on the right side, with the volume rocker multifunction button and the power button on the back we've the dual lens camera that LED flash and Blackberry logo on the bottom. We have the stereo speakers and USB type-c port.

Then, on the top we have the noise-cancelling mic and the 3.5 millimeter headphone jack. The blackberry KET runs Android 800, Oreo out-of-the-box and doesn't feature gimmicky bloatware, but does have a decent amount of pre-installed applications, but they're meant to increase your productivity when using them you're. Also getting software features such as the BlackBerry hub, which will allow you to combine messages and emails into a single feed so that it can be easily managed after getting used to using it. I found the physical keyboard to be there useful I like how you can set certain keys to act as shortcuts to start different apps. The keyboard experience starts to feel natural after using it for a bit and has a nice click feel.

One of my favorite features on this device is the programmable button on the side that can be set to open up any application. I wish this feature was offered on more devices as it's very useful. For example, if you wanted to quickly open Snapchat to capture something that's happening, then you could program the button to immediately trigger that app you're going to get solid performance and battery life with this device. Having 4 gigabytes of RAM means that you're not going to run into any issues with switching between apps and doing system demanding tasks on here. The processor could be a bit better, but I think they gave it a slightly weaker processor to optimize the device to have better battery life and I think the trade-off was worth it as I was able to get impressive battery life with the BlackBerry key 2 LE.

Of course, the performance isn't going to be as good as the original blackberry, heat, 2 or other flagship smartphones, but I, don't think you'll even notice that it has lower internal specs despite it having a lower screen to body ratio on the front due to the physical keyboard. The gaming and video watch and experience on the key to LE is certainly usable. I was able to play Minecraft on the phone with no issues. The cameras on the BlackBerry key to Ellie are disappointing, especially when compared to the original blackberry, key ? I think the cameras had to be downgraded to get the price of the phone down, but the photos and videos that the key to you, Ellie take just aren't very good. They don't have very good color and the portrait mode is really just a filter with blurred edges.

What's going on everyone, this is Kevin breeze here using the new blackberry key to Ellie, doing a test video here at 1080p. This is over at a nearby park. Just getting some footage here with the phone, and you can see all the grass is pretty dried up right now, because it is the winter time. Hey everyone, its Kevin breeze here, doing a test video with the front-facing camera on the BlackBerry key 2 LED, and it's pretty bright out today. It's really like it's like 2 p.

m. so yeah. The Sun is definitely shining bright, but this will give you an idea of the front-facing video quality. The autofocus is also slow and unreliable. Another downgrade that the BlackBerry key 2 LE has over the original blackberry key too, is that the keyboard cannot be used to scroll through the user interface.

In conclusion, there is a lot to like about the new blackberry key to LE, but you might be better off buying a used blackberry key to on eBay for the same price. If you do decide to buy the blackberry key to let hen check out the affiliate link in the video description, which will take you over where you can buy it on Amazon. But thank you for watching, and I'll see you in the next video.
