ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip Quick Review 2021 [Unboxing and Hands-on]

Guys are all here if you can tag an ASUS Philippines launch, yet another set of devices, the ASUS before 8 and the ASUS before 8 flip. What we're going to check out today is the ladder so without any further ado, let's go ahead and unbox it. First now opening up the box. We are greeted with another box that contains a sim ejector tool, a user manual and a free hard case, underneath that is the phone itself which we'll check out later also found, underneath that is an USB type-c, type-c, cable and also a charging brick right off the bat. The before 8 flip feels premium to the touch thanks to its aluminum frame, flanked with corning gorilla, glass 6 for its front panel and gorilla glass 3 at the back. The unit we have is in the black colorway, but it is also available in glacier silver.

The bat shines depending on the angle of the lighting, and it looks like a brushed aluminum, which adds a little premium factor, also at the back, we'll find the ASUS before branding as well as the reason why this device is called the flip. It's cameras on the left side, we'll find this dual sim card tray with a dedicated micro SD card slot, while power and volume buttons on the right up top is a noise. Cancelling microphone meanwhile led indicator. USB type c port mean microphone and speaker grille down below at 230 grams. The before 8 flip feels heavy but solid and robust to hold and has a tall form factor, we're glad to report that we didn't have any trouble reaching its buttons.

Even though we have small hands. The display, on the other hand, is a 6.67 inches 90 hertz super AMOLED panel capable of having 2400 by 1080p resolution and a sharp 395 PPI watching media contents on this device has been impressive. So far, it produces spongy colors with great detail, and it is also bright now when it comes to performance. The before 8 flip is powered by a Qualcomm snapdragon 888 processors, coupled with an arena 660, GPU, 8 gigabytes of ram and up to 256 gigs of internal storage. This device can handle everything we throw at it from basic to heavy multitasking, as well as playing graphically intensive games.

We'll put this device to the test so stay tuned. For that now for cameras. The before 8 flip packs a flipping triple camera setup consisting of a 64 megapixel main 8 megapixel telephoto and a 12 megapixel ultrawide. We did have some fun with its flipping camera, but we'll reserve our full thoughts in our full review, but for now check out these sample shots' day up until june 10, 2021. So what do you guys think about the before 8 flip? Is it a flip or a flop?
