Apple Watch Series 6 Unboxing! By Jenna Ezarik

- What's going on guys, welcome to a new video where today I'm going to be unboxing the new Apple watch Series Six. Now this is actually my sister Justine's because mine's not really going to be here for a little bit. And she already did a few unboxing and reviews. So she was kind enough to let me unbox hers. So shout out to you Justine, I appreciate you. I'm also very curious to see what you ordered because I don't actually know.

Let's start the unboxing process. I kind of feel bad unboxing hers 'cause I know how much she enjoys this. It kind of makes me sad. I'm really not getting the same satisfaction. It looks like she has the graphite stainless steel with the Milanese loop.

It's always a very enjoyable experience. It's just looks so good. And it's got like all the new little Apple bands and the new colors. I actually had the Milanese loop for one of my watches before, I really liked it. But now that I'm like at home and not going anywhere I just kind of am a rocking the, the more comfortable band.

I did notice that they also made these bands cheaper. They used to be a lot more expensive. So this is still the same as before it seems like. Put that over here. Let's take a look at the watch.

It's always so nicely packaged. Oh my God, I'm like, I don't want to smudge it up, but I'm going to smudge it up. So the new series six does come with a new S six processor. It's promises up to 20% faster performance. This could also charge faster going from zero to a hundred and about an hour and a half.

And the fact that they're marketing this now towards monitoring your sleep, I feel like that makes sense because usually I charge my watch at night, but if I'm sleeping in it, I'm going to want to charge it during the day. So having the faster charger is going to be really nice. Apple also now has gotten rid of including the charging brick. They kind of just assume that you're probably a repeat customer and you have a brick. I think it's a good call.

They're eliminating a lot of extra waste. That's just not necessary. And you obviously can purchase one if necessary, but it does come with the cord, which I'm going to put nicely back in there because this is not my watch. As much as I want this to be my watch, it's not my watch. I also did order the graphite, I was in between the graphite or the silver stainless steel.

I also thought about getting the titanium. I have the ceramic and I'm not going to lie. I love, love, love the ceramic. The always on display is also two and a half times brighter. And obviously the biggest upgrade to the series six is now being able to measure blood oxygen considering the times and everything that's happening with COVID, I think that this is a pretty good integration.

I know people have wanted it for a really long time and the fact that it's finally here now, I feel like that could be a potential reason for people to upgrade. Upgrading from the five to the six is not necessary unless you really want the blood oxygen it's not necessary. This watch is perfectly fine. I actually was considering not doing it but you know, I like tech. I want to have the ability to monitor the blood oxygen levels.

And also now it has the always on altimeter. I do a lot of hiking. I want to know what my altitude is. I did a hike the other day with this watch and I kind of forgot that whenever you do a hike and you register it as a workout, it does actually tell you the elevation gain. So I was like wait a minute, I kind of already have this technology.

You're just not telling me my elevation all the time. So that was interesting. Also now with Watch OS Seven, we've got some new faces. I think what excited me the most was the new solo loop bands. I think that's also what set my order back because I ordered the graphite with the braided loop.

And I think the loop band is what kind of pushed my order. So then by the time I tried to order another watch with a regular band they were already like pushed a couple of weeks. So then I ordered two watches and none of them are here yet. It's really not the biggest problem in the world. I just, I've made some mistakes.

So I decided to just set her watch as my own. We're going to see what happens. Blood oxygen, you can use the blood oxygen app to check your blood oxygen levels. It can also measure levels throughout the day. So the series six does maintain the same overall design but now it actually has new sensors which is allowing for the blood oxygen monitoring as well as the better sleep tracking.

It seems like the series six is actually a little bit thicker. It's able to measure the blood oxygen levels within about 15 seconds using both red and infrared light. Welcome to Apple Watch. Oh my gosh, we are ready. All right, so I don't want to use my sister's band.

So I actually have a band from Nomad. They just recently announced to come out with the rugged strap. They have so many incredible accessories. Even the box is rugged. This material will stand up to the abuse of any workout, challenge accepted.

Oh my, this feels really nice. Custom stainless steel, lugs and buckle pre curved for natural fit, waterproof and flexible. Okay wow, flexible, all right. Well say no more, I'm already on board. Find my blood oxygen app.

Okay, here we go, ready? 99, okay, not bad, not bad. So first impressions of the watch. I'm really enjoying it. I love the blood oxygen feature. I think I made the right call in getting the graphite stainless steel.

It just looks really good and it's pretty, pretty cool. Thank you to my sister for allowing me to unbox her watch. I appreciate you Justine. I'm going to take good care of this. I'm going to put it right back in the box and give it back to you.

So I do like the new features and minor upgrades of this version of the Apple Watch Series Six. I'm looking forward to trying out the braided loop band as well as the solo loop.
