Apple Watch Series 6 Aluminium Gold with Gold Milanese Loop Unboxing and Review

Hello, ladies and gents, and welcome back to rest of time, my name is SAI today we're back with technical watches. This is the Apple Watch Series. Six, I'm going to be a very quick overview of all the functions on there, as well as a quick look at the packaging. Again, apologies, it is another smartwatch. I think that's where we're going on this channel. First, the packaging.

Now the packaging has changed. You may have recently seen Apple's event. They are now not including a plug in the packaging. This is to cut down on carbon emissions. Of course, most of us probably think it's to save money, so the watch box packaging itself is actually quite slim, and you can see in here.

Let me just get this open that it does come as usual with the soft case. This is the series six again I've got this on, so it's not actually in here um the SC. I believe now comes with a paper case that is disposable. Whereas the series six comes with these nice little sheets, you can see that it does come with a MagSafe charger. However, as I said, it no longer comes with a plug, so you are going to have to buy that if this is your first foray into the apple world, and that is true of the SC as well.

So, although the SE is the entry level product, you are going to have to buy that 20 pound plug, should you not have one lying around the house? You see for this version. I actually went with the gold Milanese loop package in there, as you can see on the watch now it looks on there now it's very easy, but enough. It's just a simple magnetic closure. One thing I will say you will notice the coloring. This is the aluminum Apple Watch Series 6, not the stainless steel, so the coloring on this particular one, although it is listed as gold on Apple's website and in the store, is more of a rose, gold or potentially a bronze color.

It certainly is not the yellow gold. You may be able to see on the tip of the watch there of the band. If you do want that, yellow gold you're going to have to upgrade to the stainless steel model with the sapphire glass and the mobile functionality, which unfortunately is another 300 pounds now I don't think for a piece of technology- that's going to be obsolete in five years. I don't think that 300 pound outlay is actually worth it, but anyway, let's have a look. You see here.

This is one of the new faces for series 6, although this is watch iOS 7, and this is actually available on the series 5 as well various faces here. You have the GMT face here or a dive bezel face. You then have a tachometer and then some of the more luxury face and, of course, the old faces are all still there. Now. One of the biggest upgrades to this watch is the sensor, so you can now do something called blood oxygen level which is a bit hit-and-miss.

To be honest, I mean we will attempt to measure it now, and I'll just rest, my wrist down on the side like that. But, to be honest, I've had more misses than hits when this actually comes to measuring. So it may be a bit of a gimmick. Do people really need to know this? If they're not in a medical emergency and again, yeah? Look so it's you get more often not you get this message unsuccessful, so I don't know. Maybe that will become more refined as they uh upgrade the OS I don't know, but in terms of actual sizing, this is the 44 millimeter watch.

You can see how it sits on my 18 centimeter wrist, it's chunky, but you know it's. It's not a dress. Watch it's uh, although I think the gold and the gold does make it particularly dressy, compared to say the series 5, which I do have here, which has now become my work watch, see I've got this giant case and the leather band on there. You can see how they compare that again as a GMT face. One thing I will say about having two apple watches, something that really impressed me is the integration with the Apple iPhone.

The app actually will know which watch you're wearing simply by virtue of the fact that you put it on and put the passcode in, and it will switch accordingly on the app between the two, but it does record all the activity data in a dual format. So, for example, if you're wearing the series 5 or whichever one you have in the day, and then you put a new one on in the evening, it will register that, and it will actually change over to that watch and continue counting your steps in terms of this bracelet. I think this bracelet is really nice. As I said, it's really easy to slip on and off, and it is a really, really smooth bracelet. It actually feels like a piece of material.

It doesn't feel like metal. You can see it's quite see-through, actually um, that's just to help vent the wrist and make sure you don't. You know, trap, sweat and grime. It is magnetic, though, so you will find it sort of latching on to the uh the back of the watch there and it is doesn't help. You know you're trying to charge it, and it's kind of gets in the way, so it is a bit of a hindrance but actually yeah.

What I thought I'd much prefer this to do. Those new sport, loops and sport bands that all the solo loops, my apologies- that uh you know seem to be people seem to have all sorts of issues with those uh, but that's everything that I've got to say about this watch guys. I appreciate it's a bit different from, what's normally featured on the channel, however, hope you enjoyed the video again, I'm not a tech guru. So if you are interested in more technical features about this uh rather than it as a watch, then uh, you know where to go to watch those videos uh, but anyway, thanks very much for watching guys, please feel free to like to subscribe and comment, and I'll see you soon.
