HTC U11 vs Google Pixel XL Android Octopus - Speed & Camera Test! By Tech Trinkets

Hey guys, so I wanted to do a quick comparison here between HTC, u 11 and the Google Pixel AFCEL running the latest Android preview, the final version or Android octopus. As you may be aware, it does have an interesting Easter egg as we're going to compare the speed and camera of these Android phones. Obviously we are going to be surpassed next month with the latest crop of phones, but that will mean that these to become more affordable, and it will be interesting to see you know which one gives you the better vibe from Winnie, so just starting at the same time and, interestingly enough, both of these are actually built by HTC, but they have very different design overall, with the more glass construction of the ACC. This is the metal on the pixel. You show you the Android octopus, that we do have here, which is pretty awesome. So if we go into here a little, you can see.

Isn't this innovation I literally, don't know anything else of what this final software does bring, but I think it does fix some bugs as well and give you this awesome, Easter egg. So, what's not to love, you know, but obviously I was quite interested to compare. The phones themselves anyway, see how the performance does stack up, so we're going to do a speed test first, and then we're going to check out the cameras. So we have installed a few apps and show everything down here. So let's go so the u11 rocking slightly better processor, saying kind of RAM a slightly worse display.

If you ask me compared to the OLED on the pixel, but it is higher resolution. You're also getting some very nice audio on the eleven in terms of the video recording and the Sonic integration I keep missing the U 11, let's try again, and you can see I think apart from the third-party apps. These speed is very similar here with the latest Android on the pixel versus slightly more high spec phone, and that is the benefit you're going to get with going with the pixel. Let's just try some games here you so both load, pretty fast I, think the 11 was slightly ahead then, which is nice or so we have the pixel this time very nice. Now, back to the 11, so we'll just come after this, and this one looks more identical.

You can really see the display differences here with the pixels of spring much brighter. That is an criticism. I would level at the U 11 that should check out the Wi-Fi speeds here between the two of them go. So quite average here tonight, for the pixel usually does pretty well in fact, usually it's the best, so maybe the 11 will catch up here, and it does just pet. The pixel and I wonder if HTC is building the new pixel, not represent sure actually who is building it.

I know it's coming with a puzzle, this kind design here they should try the multitasking on the latest Android, so little reload down, left and very good. So far with the Android up to purse no reloading here you can see the last version was pretty terrible. I think the camera was better on the left there, but generally perfect on Android. Oh, the 11. Just can't keep up.

Using both of them is a delight, I've got to say, but I think the pixel has one here with less reloads, even though it's running outdated specification, so it is what it is. I was also quite interested in the cameras here between the two, and we can see how to do compare. So you can see we do have optical image stabilization as well as 1.8 aperture on the U 11, which should theoretically give you better low-light pictures. Guys say you know, I found that it did miss the mark now and again the U 11 when I was acting about generally.

It was a fantastic shooter, but for example, this shot, you know just taking the shot. You would see how blurry it is in comparison to the pixel, so the picture obviously has a very high rating light comes to the camera, so I wasn't expecting any issues with that, and I think generally in terms of most shots, the u11 did perform, but it's amazing how good the pixel is. Without the added optical image stabilization, as well as F 2.0 aperture, which you know is not as bright as some competitors, if they can add, is to the next version, and also you know we're making the aperture better. Then, who knows what they can achieve really for the pixel line and the actual low-light the good lecturers say, was quite comparable. You know I wouldn't say, there's a massive difference here, maybe you're living a little better in terms of the colors.

It was a bit natural or a bit more natural, shall we say compared to the U 11. But overall, you know I think in terms of the reliability. I preferred the pixel I also prefer the pixel a bit more. However, with the U 11, you do get the amazing 3d audio ability which allows you to zoom in on.

What there's definitely some pros and cons there I think in terms of the video I, don't think it's a flawless knock out that I was expecting on the U 11, and certainly our massive that motivation to agree. If you do have the pixel, which has a fantastic camera still so yet just acquittal comparison here, then between the ill, pixel Excel and the U 11 I. Think that your 11 is a good phone.

Don't get me wrong, you know, but at the same time you know I want them to return to the metal design which I know and love, because I personally prefer the more metal kind design here, then, the glass construction clearly reminds me too much of Samsung, and you know Samsung should say Samsung HTC should say HTC, etc. , but yeah you should equal a comparison here.
