Apple Watch Series 5 vs Series 0 (Original) Ultimate Comparison! By SimplyPops

So, as you guys know, I recently picked up the Apple Watch. Series.5 and I am gonna. Do a review coming soon spoiler alert. It is amazing. Fantastic and I am coming from the Apple Watch Series zero. The original Apple Watch to the Apple Watch Series 5.

So in this video I'm going to be doing a comparison of speed tests and going over some features. Now this is the 44 millimeter variant, and it has the s1 chip which is painfully slow. It has 8 gigabytes of internal storage, so you can store music on here. If you want, but I, don't even recommend doing that, because the music application is so slow. You may as well just take out your phone and that's one of my main gripes with the Apple Watch.

When it first came out, it was always slow. It's never fast. It's not like you know it's slowing down now because of all the updates. Furthermore, it was always slow. Furthermore, it was actually a disappointment when it first came out in my opinion, but it was the cool factor.

Furthermore, it was just had a Smartwatch I have a computer on my wrist, but now here we are on the series 5. This is literally a day and night difference. This is the 44 millimeter, it has 32 gigabytes of internal storage, and it has the s5 chip, which is not too much faster than the s4 chip, but the s4 chip is blazing fast. You know big difference between the series. You know zero, the s-1 chip, but all that stuff out the way.

Just taking a look at each Apple Watch you can see the original Apple Watch is more boxy. It just looks so out of date. It actually just looks like the series 3, but you know they may not sell no gold, no more, but it's just an outdated design, and you know you can see the buttons is not as flush and beautiful as the series 5. You know this is the old screen design. You have this more curvy pebble looking.

Furthermore, you know, Apple Watch, and it just looks a little more modern, alright. So, let's just move on to the speed test, all right. So now the Apple watches are completely off: let's boot them up in three two one: okay, okay, so like about 35 seconds, the series 5 was able to boot up and to watch OS, and we're still waiting for the series 0. This is going to be painfully slow. Okay, finally, finally, finish: oh look at the time difference guys so, as guys can see literally a day and night difference yeah.

So it took like about two minutes to boot up compared to 35 seconds. I think it is time for you guys to upgrade if you still have the series, zero, and you're skeptical of upgrading I. Think now is the time to do so now, if not every day, you're going to boot up your Apple Watch, turn it off and then turn it back on. I just really want to show you guys a big difference on that, but it comes down to the apps. We're going to do app speed test I'm, just going to show you guys how much quicker the series 5 is now I do have both of these devices on maximum brightness.

Do these in a list view, because it's going to be a little easier for me to tap on these and by the way you do have that haptic feedback on the crown, which is really nice, I mean you got to go into a store to really feel this, but it's really nice, okay, so calendar! How much smaller the text look on this series! 0, 3, 2, 1, look: series 5 is ready to go, and you can interact with it that took some time, so we're gonna launch up the mail in three two one: okay, it's ready to go just like that, ready to go while the series zero is slowing up, and it's finally loaded up. Let's go to AB life ex is my smart bulb. So three two one: alright, it was actually faster on this one kept it to that one! Interesting: okay: let's launch up music, okay, three, two one: okay, ready to go right here on the Apple Watch Series: five, that is amazing. While it's still loading on this series.

Zero and I can finally play music on my Apple Watch, which is just insane I can connect my ear pods and play music on the go. Let's switch up the news, okay, so three, two one: okay, ready to go instantly; nearly instant Taney, asleep, pretty much instantaneously on the series 5. While that series zero had to load up now, I love the display so much brighter and bolder and vivid in three two one: nearly instantaneously ready to go. Now, let's launch up the timer three two one boom and you guys can see that loading. You see the load in the little circle here, you're, not getting that you're just getting the zoom in animation when you're launching up applications.

Let's launch up the weather, ok, the weather three: two one look boom ready to go ready to go I can see the weather, the temperature I'm ready to go, and I'm just now seeing it here: okay, let's, let's launch up the workout app three two one ready to go just like that: I can start working out tap on Goa, and I'm ready to go, and now I can finally do the workout. Here and I'm actually going to end. This wait yeah and it's so much better on this one, because you can actually go swimming. You could, you know start a workout swimming I. Just recently went to Florida like two weeks ago.

I wish the Apple I Series five came out because I would love to make a video showcasing the waterproof functionality, but I live in New York we pretty much. You know what a season is pretty much done, it's starting to get cold outside so I, don't know! Maybe next time I go away. I'll probably do that in three two one yeah instantly: okay, three, two one ready to go. It's automatically checking my heart rate. This is still loading, and now it's checking my heart rate, I'm, so happy that I waited it's the activity.

So three two one boom I could see all my rings. I can interact with the application just like that on the fly, and now I can finally do so on the series: zero three two one yeah boom ready, yeah basically unusable, and that's the thing with the series zero. It just comes to a point where I'm better off taking my phone, but with the series 5, you can actually get things done on the Apple Watch on an Apple Watch, I would say so yeah, so you guys could see definitely faster now. For me, battery life is significantly improved, but honestly I haven't really been using my series: zero, like I, wear it, but only use it to tell time I, don't really launch up any applications or doing your workout on my Apple Watch just because it's so slow and it just it's just like you may as well. Don't even do anything on your Apple Watch but tell time so battery life.

For me, I charged my watch every night now with the series 5 I was actually wearing my watch overnight. Last night I wore my Apple Watch, I forgot to take it off, and it was only on 35% and Q mind always on, but it's completely on. It was like this exactly like this I woke up I could check the time. I could look at the weather, so that was really cool. I was only on 35% I had to charge it, of course, to get a full day, but that's still pretty impressive wearing it all day yesterday and still be at 35% all night with the always-on display on that cannot be said with this Apple Watch here.

Just seeing that always-on display just looks so much cooler, but when I tap on this look, it doesn't respond right away. Then you get frustrated, and you just start pressing anything, and then it wakes up and then it just. It goes crazy. This you tap like once. You enter in your passcode almost enter in my passcode reality.

This is going to be far more superior, and I can use my Apple Card with this Apple Watch. You can't use the Apple Card on the old Apple Watch here now. I appreciate Apple for still keeping support for the 42 millimeter band. So if you're coming from a 42 millimeter Apple watching you up we're into series 5, all of your bands are still going to be compatible. So that's the thing when you've got the original Apple Watch it'll be hard to switch sizes because you have to get a completely different band set.

But for me this is the same thing as the 42 millimeter, but just a larger body, but still supporting your older bands, and this is also made out of a hundred percent recycled and minimum insane. So the series zero can't talk, but the series five can talk it's at home. What time is it look come on guys come on guys, what's the weather in New, York City, this thing is allowed, and I like that, so you could be able to hear what's going on now, Apple did move the microphone to the crown area and then the speaker since it's louder they have to have a bigger grill, so they had to make some arrangements and that's why you see on the series? Five. You can see the microphone hole there. When the Apple Watch first came out, I was excited that they have Instagram Twitter.

You can go on Instagram on your risk, so I could be able to be in class and quickly glance. Over my Instagram feed- or it's just like it was amazing, but you can't for some reason, Instagram took off Apple Watch support, so you can't go on Instagram, no more on your Apple Watch or even the new one. They's just not a thing, no more and even like little things like. If someone sends you a link, you can be able to launch up on the web. So as a sniper wolf made, a video I could go on YouTube right here on my wrist and quickly see what this website is about.

You can't do that. Obviously, on your series, zero and, of course you can't play any videos, but you can quickly see what's going on and what the website is about. So I see myself using more features and more apps on the series 5.
