Apple Watch SE Review: The Chosen One

Apple wearables have always been a little different. For starters, you need to have an iPhone for it to work, since apple refuses to open it up to other operating systems. Unlike wear wish, and the next thing is the price: it is more expensive than some other wearables out there in the market. The Apple Watch SC is a modern, yet affordable, offering that is priced at 29, 900 rupees, and that makes the question. Is it value for money? Well, I use the Apple Watch SE for about a month and here's my review. Now.

Let's talk about the Apple Watch, SE and my experience with it, you see I've been an android user and have been using android variables since the time it was called android aware, which brings me to the Apple Watch SE now I have been using this for a month and when the experience has been very good, and it is polished in terms of both hardware and software and coming back to the question again, is it a value for money? Well, I will say that the Apple Watch SC offers the maximum amount of value of all the other apple watches that are currently in the market. Well, here's why currently you get to choose between three apple watches, the first one being the Apple Watch Series 3, which is old, has updated hardware and the smaller size means a smaller battery. Then there is the Apple Watch Series 6, which is the best of the best, but it starts at a steep price of 40 900 rupees, and this brings me to the Apple Watch SE, which sits between the two models and offers the best of both at a reasonable price. The design of the Apple Watch has more or less remained the same since the very first model. It doesn't look like a traditional watch with a circular dial and if you don't like the square shape, then there isn't much choice here, but when you look beyond the shape, that's when you are bombarded with options, you can choose the size of the watch, color of the dial, as well as the strap style and material.

You can also choose between a GPS only or a LTE model. The Apple Watch SE features a LPO OLED display that produces fantastic blacks, making it very hard to distinguish the surrounding bezel. I also found it to be bright enough under direct sunlight and there is an ion x, strength in glass on top for protection as well. Apart from this, the aluminum case feels premium and the digital crown makes it convenient to navigate apple, also uses its tactic engine to produce vibrations when using the digital crown that simulates a mechanical feedback. There is one more button on the watch for switching between apps and a speaker that lets you take calls on the watch ac itself and for Siri to reply to your queries now that I've, given you a proper physical overview of the Apple Watch, SC, lets deep dive into the software, but before I do that, I want you to subscribe to the guys, 360, YouTube channel and click on that bell, icon, so that you're the first to know when we upload a new video.

So, let's continue apple keeps its variables up to date, just like the iPhone, so naturally the Apple Watch SE comes running. The latest watch OS 7 and has most of the software features that you'll find on the higher end Apple Watch Series 6. So I was really curious to see how the Apple Watch SC is in terms of usability compared to Wear OS, and I have to say that the UI on the Apple Watch IC is different from Wear OS, but it is very easy to navigate. You can swipe down from the home screen to see your notifications and swipe up to access the quick toggles to access your installed apps. You need to press down on the digital crown and for multitasking there's a button below the digital crown.

Just for that. By the way you can install a lot of apps and store music on the watch SE, since it has 32gb of storage and as for the UI, I'm glad to report that I found the UI to be very polished and the experience to be lagged. Free haptic alerts from an incoming call or message was strong enough to grab my attention and apple also uses the tactic engine for its breath and workout apps, which is nice with the Apple Watch. Se I could reply to incoming notifications using dictation or by scribbling one character at a time on the screen. I could also reply to incoming SMSes and WhatsApp messages, but I couldn't reply to emails using the Outlook app.

This could be a limitation of the app not having support for the Apple Watch, but beyond the UI, the apps and the multitasking. Let's get to what the Apple Watch is really known for its fitness tracking ability. Well, I think that it fails really well when it comes to fitness tracking. Hear me out. Workout steps and distance tracking were near accurate on the watch SC, which is impressive.

So if you are a fitness enthusiast wanting to keep a track of your routine, the watch SC is a perfect companion. Heart rate tracking was accurate as well, and the watch SC could detect changes very quickly. Sleep tracking is something that was recently introduced to the Apple Watch and while the SC does record sleep tracking accurately, it does not display detailed information. Like light deep and rem sleep like most of the wearables do moving on, I had the LTE variant of the Apple Watch SC, and it accepts Sims from operators such as v Jio, as well as a10 and in terms of connectivity. Well, it is going to be connected to your iPhone continuously, but when you get out of the range from the smartphone, that is when it will latch on to LTE for connectivity and by the way the LTE variant is more expensive than the GPS only version, and I recommend it only to those people who would want to head out leaving their smartphone behind.

Apart from this paired with the iPhone or on its own. In the case of the LTE model, you will be able to take calls on the Apple Watch. Se, but you'll need to keep it close to your face like this, which brings me to the speaker, volume, which is adequate, but there were times when I had to ask my callers to repeat what they just said: the mic on the watch, SC works decently, but my callers could recognize that I wasn't talking to them using my phone. So by now I have offered my case that the Apple Watch SC offers both form and function, but what about battery life during this review period? The Apple Watch SC lasted me for a day and a half on a single charge. With my usage, the LTE enabled I did notice a slightly lower run time with the watch managing just over a day before needing to be plugged in.

As for charging speeds, it takes over 2 hours to charge the Apple Watch completely, which is slow. So should you buy an Apple Watch? Se I would say the Apple Watch. Ac is a lot like the Apple Watch Series 5. I know it's missing a few features, but the price is also a lot lower, and I really feel the lower price is what makes the Apple Watch SE appealing, since it offers better value for your money. If you have been using an Apple Watch Series 4 or a series 5, this isn't for you.

The cd6 would be a better upgrade. However, if you are a first time user or are using an Apple Watch Series, 3 or older, the Apple Watch, SE might just be the right fit. Also, for anyone wondering if it is worth paying a premium over, the Apple Watch Series 3. Well, it totally is, and that was my review of the Apple Watch ac. What do you think about the smartwatch? Let me know that in the comments down below and as always for all things tech stay tuned to gadgets360.

com. You.
