Apple iPhone 11 Smart Battery Case. Or is it? By Unbox Warehouse

Hey guys I'm Mike welcome back to unbox where else now this is not clickbait. Well, hello, I'm, recording like right now, and here it is the Apple smart battery case with the iPhone 11 I have the standard one with the wide angle and the regular camera. How did I get my hands on this? You might ask well, this is a little click baby, but they haven't released it yet so how do I? Have it I'll tell you how this is actually a hack. This, my friends, is the battery case off of my old XR right before I got the iPhone 11 I had the XR I was super disappointed when I found out that they didn't sell smart battery cases for the iPhone 11 yet, but I just decide to shove it on here and see if it worked and guess what it works flawlessly, it fits like a dream. You cannot tell the difference between the way this fit all the buttons on the side line up and work perfectly you can get to the silent switch. The only problem is when you turn the flashlight on.

It happens to be covered by the shape of it here, because the iPhone 11 has a bigger square and on the standard one like me, you have some kind of ambient sensor and the flashlight LED is underneath, where the plastic is here, so today we're gonna, try to modify this and see if we can make it look pretty good, because I'll tell you what it actually works perfectly. It senses it. The software knows that there's a smart battery case on here. Everything works correctly. There's no need to go, spend another hundred and forty dollars on a new case.

If you had the XR, and you're switching over to the all new iPhone 11. So one thing that I noticed: let's just pull this out- is I've been using this for about a month. Now, since the iPhone came out and guess what no problems, not one problem to use this case with the iPhone 11, now you'll notice that it did leave a little indention here inside the case on the felt where the raised part of this iPhone is, so I'm going to attempt to cut this out and make it look good, because I can see exactly where I need to cut. Looking at the depressed felt on the inside of the cover, then we're going to see if it's really worth going and buying a brain new battery case when you already have one for your XR I, have no clue how hard this is going to be to cut if I'm going to make it look pretty or not, but regardless how pretty it is I guarantee it's going to be functional. Like I said, I've been using this for like a month.

So, let's see, if I can get this cut out and there you go. The XR case fits perfectly, and the UI works flawlessly with the iPhone 11 other than the whole, not quite being big enough for the extra sensors or more cameras. If you have them, but if you already have a case lying around go ahead and throw it on there use it doesn't waste that money. But if you don't have a case, yet I would suggest going ahead and waiting and don't buy an XR case just so. You can have a battery case now.

Wait till the new one comes out, it'll be worth it, but as for this guy I'm not willing to go, spend another hundred and forty dollars to get myself a new case when this one works perfectly fine.
