iPhone SE (2020) vs iPhone X Speed Test - Is the A13 Bionic UnderClocked?

What is up guys, it's algae here and there's a bit of controversy out there in the tech world. Regarding the 813 Bionic chips, I found the new iPhone S II. A report came out earlier this week from GSM arena, stating that the new iPhone SE is 813, Bionic chipset might potentially be under clocked in benchmark tests performed by GSM arena. The iPhone SE came up short in processing power compared to the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 Pro, which both have the exact same 830 bios, chipset internally. It is worth noting, though, that the iPhone SE has 3 gigabytes of RAM, whereas the iPhone 11 Pro has 4 gigabytes of RAM, but nonetheless, today we are going to be performing a speed test between the iPhone 10 and the iPhone S II, just to see how much have a real, visible difference. We can see between these two chipsets, which are two generations.

Apart with the iPhone 10 featuring the two-year-old 11 Bionic and the iPhone SE, of course, featuring the 830 by the chipset. Both of these phones have 3 gigabytes of RAM, but don't sleep on the iPhone 10. It's still such a fast and snappy device, even in 2020, but just quickly before we do dive into the speed test. If this is your first time here on this channel, I would really appreciate, if you guys, can either like down below and subscribe to the channel, because that would go a long way in helping me out. Okay to start off, both of these devices are connected to the exact same Wi-Fi, both the writing, iOS 13.4 and both are pretty decently charged I'm. Only saying that, because low bid life sometimes does cause the phone to like so, let's start off by running a quick geek bike test and then compare the difference in singer, core and multi-core scores, and then we'll all put some stock iPhone apps and continue from there benchmark scores for the CPU run, benchmark, and we'll just come back to it.

So, unsurprisingly, the iPhone SE did finish. First in running the geek bike, scores we're still waiting on the iPhone 10 right now it's been about 2 minutes and 25 seconds on the iPhone.10 is still data, ok, so about 3 minutes later the iPhone 10 has a single core score of 921 and the iPhone SE has a single core score of 1326 and the multi-core score on the iPhone. Se is 34 3 and on the iPhone 10 it's 24 and 9, so quite a significant difference in terms of singer, car and multi-core scores between these two phones I just powered on both of these devices. So let's do a quick, Budapest and see which one wins one, two three so, unsurprisingly, once again, the iPhone SE take Umbra tops when 830 buttock chipsets is a piece compared to an 11. So far the iPhone SE is therefore 10 is still loading.

Okay. Finally, we are up and running I just want to show you guys that all the apps in the background are closed, no opus there and now elapsed, ere, okay. So to start off by doing three tests on some stock apps, so I talked about the camera, one two three, so the iPhone SE did open up a bit faster right there. Just close this okay. Now, let's try opening up the clock app.

There's one two three so once again the iPhone SE did come out on top right there. These are all iPhone stock apps, so they come on the iPhone. So let's try open up the wallet one two three, so it was about a tie. I think it was about a tie right there. Let's go back, let's open up the Settings app one, two three, because I thought I see to come out on top right now, so we are noticing on slight difference in speed between the iPhone 10 on the iPhone SE, but not too much of a noticeable difference where we make a difference in the real world and not open up some non iPhone apps some large stock apps I mean sorry, let's open up YouTube studio, so the iPhone 10 did come out on top right there.

So maybe it's all well optimized for the iPhone SE, but right now the iPhone type did come on top right there. So it's like advantage. Okay, let's open up Instagram one, two three iPhone SE comes out on top. If you guys aren't falling on Instagram. Please do follow me at orange.

A tech I'm going to link it down in the description below. Ok, let's try open up the Starbucks app one, two three, so the iPhone SE once again slight advantage. Okay! So now, let's try exporting a 4k file on Lima fusion. Both these devices do have dual fusion installed, and I may try X porting a 4k file later on to see which one wins. So, let's go one two three, so the movie is opening up and the iPhone is e and the iPhone SE has expected did come out on top, but the iPhone, but the iPod 10 wasn't too far behind, as you guys can see.

Okay, so we are back at Lima for here right now. This is the exact same one minute: 4k 30fps clip, and we're going to try to export and see which one comes out on top. So let's go sleeping the files apps. Even the files, are okay, so they're, both 553 megabytes, okay, ready one, two, three export okay! So, so far, they both seem to be tied right now. The iPhone SE does have a slight lead, but not noticeable.

Okay, here comes the iPhone SE, the 30 baht eclipse that is now kicking in and has just taken over. Oh my goodness look at that lead. Look at that lead right now. Okay, so the iPhone SE is done and right behind it was the iPhone 10. So it wasn't that bad of a race, but it was a pretty noticeable difference all right.

Now. Let's try opening up some games. Pokemon go one. Two three goes and the iPhone SE is loading a much quicker right now and the iPhone SE is pretty much done. We are in the game, yep we're in the game right now and right behind.

It was the iPhone time it did live a little behind right there, but yeah yeah iPhone SE is but yeah I phone as these chips. I kicked it. So let's go back. Let's go back now: let's open up some pop G one, two three go all right: so loading loading loading, okay, 14 seconds remaining estimated, the boat dialing and update the same update, okay, so the iPhone SE 1. Once again the update is complete.

iPhone SE came out on top once again, so the speed difference is pretty low. As for right now, where you can pretty much say at the 813 by the chipset is so much better so right now we are starting to see that the iPhone SE does really a majority as pretest categories, but the iPhone asked you, but an iPhone 10. Isn't that far behind? To be honest with you guys: okay, let's try up it out, one more game: Call of Duty mobile, ready, 1, 2, 3, and once again you can see that iPhone SE has a huge lead right now, it's already loading a hundred percent, almost hundred percent. There you go 100% and the iPhone 10 is right behind it, so not bad for the 11 body chipset, which has two generations behind ok, so you can see that we're going to call it Duty right now, I'm, just gonna! Let this run in the background as well: let's try writing an actual Pub G game. So for some reason the matching took longer the iPhone SE, whereas the iPhone 10 found the matching pretty quickly okay.

So but we stopped skipped ahead, and we're already in the game, even though it started matching a bit later we're already in the game that is pretty impressive, so yeah there, you guys have it the comparison and performance between two generations of Apple chipsets and, as you guys can see, the performance is a lot better on the iPhone SE, but the iPhone 10 is no slouch, and it's not like behind by that. Much if you guys have the iPhone 10 right now, and you want to get an iPhone S II I, wouldn't rush that and get it right away because, as you guys can see in terms of performance, it's pretty minimal difference. I mean it is a little faster but like not to the point where I have to like psalm an iPhone 10 I go out to buy the iPhone SE immediately, but yeah. That's where pretty much it for me guys I do have the pixel 3/8 versus the iPhone app, so you can press the video coming up pretty soon. If you guys enjoyed our please do consider subscribing to the channel, because that would go along with helping me out, and I'll catch.

You guys all in the next one take care.
