Alcatel 3L Review & Photo Comparison

It's, quite ridiculous that the photos that I'm about to show you were taken on a 199 dollar smartphone. The Alcatel 3l can I travel long here from AF, TM and I. Gotta say this is a cracking smartphone. We've always known, Alcatel make great smartphones at a very reasonable price. $99 149 dollars, $199 there are $299 Alcatel. This guy.

Here, though, is brand new. It's the Alcatel 3l, and it sits at the top of the most recent 2020 launch, but it certainly sits in my mind, very, very high up in their overall quality, artificial intelligence built into the camera, a triple lens camera system. A very good screen, there's a lot to love about it. Now, when you look at this screen, you'll notice a very, very small notch at the top, they call it a mini notch. It's very small! That's where your front-facing cameras, but you'll, see overall a very high screen to body ratio, not at all in the realms of a two thousand dollar Android smartphone, but overall, very, very solid and here's.

The thing screen is bright. The screen is very vibrant, and it's also have got very good viewing angles. That's one of the things I've noticed here, and I'm just going to come straight out of the box and say I'm, comparing this right now to the latest: Samsung Galaxy a 31. This is a four hundred and ninety-nine dollar smartphone. Now the thing about this phone is, it is a beautiful Super, AMOLED display, and it looks great, but the viewing angles normally I would find on a low-cost phone aren't as good as they are on a higher-end phone viewing angles here at excellent, and that means that when you're sitting on the bus or the train, you can happily look at the thing that no no concerns about where you are and what angle you.

You have to hold the phone out because you're trying to hold it away from the people sitting next to you performance is excellent. It is not you know outstanding in terms of the way you would compare it to some of these flagship phones. This is a two and a half thousand dollar Samsung. This is a two and a half thousand dollar iPhone I'm, not comparing it to those. But what I find most interesting is the iPhone SE 714, the Samsung Galaxy, a 31 499 dollars and the Alcatel thrill at a hundred and ninety-nine dollars now.

I want to show you. Firstly, a portrait photo now that is normally using two lenses on the back to create that bouquet effect that blur in the background. So here's a photo I took of my daughter, Victoria, using portrait mode on all of these using the rear camera, so Alcatel 3el, $199, galaxy, a31, $499 iPhone has a seven hundred and forty-nine dollars. It's a very good photo for $199. In fact, I would say when you post it on Instagram stories, no one's going to notice now there's a definite darkness to the photo, as opposed to their kind of rich colors.

You get the higher end, but again you're only noticing that, because they're side by side now, let's go down to Sydney, Harbor, Sydney, Harbor, beautiful scenic area, now pretty good sunlight bit of cloud in the sky, iPhone SE beautiful, just wonderful and do you know what just on its own the iPhone SE great value given the camera, given that you could pay two and a half thousand dollars for an iPhone, so that's a big ticket for an iPhone SE. Then let's use the Samsung Galaxy a 31 again, a very nice photo now all you're going to see with this next photo is a very different color set. This is the Alcatel 3 L, now I'm torn with this one, because I actually really like the photo. Here's. Why I think it looks different and in some ways better HDR I think the phone is overcompensated I! Think it's trying really hard to bring out the HDR effect, which is overexposed and underexposed and brought together.

You can actually see more detail under the bridge in the Alcatel than you can in either of the other photos and that green Harbor, that's actually the color was on the day. So it's a kind of mix between the two would have been a more realistic representation, but again for $199 Wow. Now the Alcatel 3 also has a macro lens super close-up, 3 that 3 to 5 centimeters. Here it is again and here's another great macro photo on the Samsung Galaxy, a 31, the galaxy. A 31 is an excellent phone, and I'll come to that in another review later, but I'm just putting it there as a benchmark, Samsung, unbelievable caller.

We all know and trust, Samsung and iPhone when Apple when it comes to smartphones. So here's Alcatel head-to-head macro photos with the Samsung at $199, $300, cheaper, and you've got a pretty darn good macro photo I think that at $199 there is a huge market for the Alcatel 3l. If you're about to give you a teenager, their first phone or a ten or eleven-year-old, their first phone Alcatel 3l. Now this may not be their five-year phone. They may only have this four year or two, but you know what 199 bucks for a year.

That's fine! Let them understand how phone works. Let them understand the rules of owning a phone. Let them see what isn't good and bad about the phone from their usage games. They play and things like that, but overall for certainly for students they're getting their first phone and frankly for people who are still using a flip phone or if you're, using an iPhone, 6 or 5 or 4. You don't really care about the phones, quality you're going to be blown away with an Alcatel 3l.

It's a great looking phone fingerprint sensor face recognition. The artificial intelligence in the camera uses scene recognition to optimize the photo. There's a lot built into it. That I haven't even touched on, but overall six point: two two-inch screen great phone Alcatel 3l is on sale at Vodafone. It's $199 and comes with a Sims, AK I think about a $40 impact.

So that's pretty good value in it of itself. Full details on the Alcatel 3l, a TFT am calm. You.
