A "cheapish" BlackBerry | BlackBerry KEY2 LE

Hey guys, it's me Ola and blackberry chose to release another device, the BlackBerry key to LE so at Ephraim Berlin, which is a tech fair that is currently in Berlin blackberry released another device pretty shortly after they released pretty new blackberry, key ?, and it's called the blackberry key ? L e, like a light addition of the key to so, it's cheaper, a bit reduced version of the back Greek -. So what are the specs? So it does look very, very similar to the black very key to it also has the same screen, but materials are different. The key to has a full metal aluminum construction. Well, of course, there's the plastic rubberized back cover on the back, which the key to also has that the key to L II also has, but the key to L II is fully made out of polycarbonate, which is plastic, so the frame and everything is plastic. The back cover, as I said, is a rubberized material. It does look like it's a bit less slippery, then on the back three keys ?, but I would have to feel that myself, and it's a bit lower power than the BlackBerry key -.

It has the Snapdragon 636 processor. Furthermore, it doesn't have six gigabytes, it has four gigabytes of RAM. Furthermore, it doesn't have the three thousand 500 William hour battery you get in the key -. Furthermore, it only has three thousand million per hours. The back brake e2 has a 12 megapixel camera with an F 1.8 aperture as its primary shooter. Of course, it has the dual lens and another one with an F, 2.6 I think and the key to LE just has the 13 megapixel shooter, and it's also starting at an aperture of 2.2 and goes down and on its secondary camera. All the way to I would have to repeat their f 2.4, so the secondary shooter might have a better aperture, but it is a bit toned down compared to like Ricky, choose camera, and I'm very interested in how that stacks up against the key to the keyboard is also different. Of course, it still has the keyboard, but it doesn't have as much space between the buttons and also the keys are 10% smaller than on the key 2, which is still good, considering the very key to had 20% larger keys compared to the previous devices, so those keys should still be larger than on a key one.

I guess it also still has the fingerprint sensor in the space bar, and it also has the speech key. But what it doesn't have is touch sensitive keyboard, which is kind of sad. The key to Ellie is available in three different colors in slate, which is kind of a bluish color. It's similar to the black emotion I think it's also available in champagne, so a gold version which is maybe for the Arabs or some Eastern Market, primarily and, of course, a very, very cool addition. The atomic red edition- and this will be my pick as well, because I think it just stands out from the crowd.

It looks kind of cool, and it brings back the wipe vibes of the old red additions like the blackberry, Passport, all the ones on the set 10. It's available in two different versions: storage, wise in 32 gigabytes as well as 64 gigabytes. The 32 gigabyte variant will be available from 399 dollars and the 64 gigabytes from 450 dollars. So what do I think about the BlackBerry key to Ellie? Well, I was pretty surprised. They released a device like that.

What do I think about it being so toned down? Well, I can see where they were going, because businesses might be more likely to invest in a bunch of phones for their employees, because they're cheaper. Maybe people that didn't want to spend that extra premium on the keyboard as on the key to they will now buy the key to Ellie, but I. Think personally, that they tone it down too much, because the things that really made out the BlackBerry key ? or the blackberry in general were the keyboard. Of course. It's battery life and, of course, it's productivity levels and with the keyboard they pretty much remove the thing that was the selling point.

It's its touch sensitivity, so you cannot scroll on it. You cannot flick up suggestions. You cannot remove words with a flick from right to left, which pretty much means productivity to me, because you are much faster on the keyboard, and you don't you, you can't even move the cursor around that you can do on touchscreen keyboards, so that, for me takes away a bit of the productivity with the battery they removed it like they removed five hundred million power hours of it. So it's just a three thousand William hour battery and not these three thousand five hundred million power battery you get in Turkey ?, so less battery life means less display or screen on time, which also means less productivity and another thing I'm, not so sure about. Are they toning down the camera? Because the BlackBerry key choose camera I, know I said it in my previous video, and you all hate me for it, but it wasn't the best shooter to begin with, and now the BlackBerry ? LE it's an even worse one, I'm very excited on how that will stack up or just perform on like Instagram stories or Snapchat stories, because it was a disaster on the key to well, not an everyday shooting, not uploading it to Instagram stories, but an Instagram stories.

The camera was an absolute disaster, so I'm very excited on how it will perform with the back break to Ellie. So whatever I look like Greek to Ellie, no I, wouldn't because it just doesn't have the features a blackberry should have, in my opinion, that they yes, of course, those features weren't available in previous blackberries, but they introduced them in the past three years. I think yeah since 2015 with the blackberry, PRI, and now you don't have them anymore after getting used to them. I think that is kind of sad. In my opinion, blackberry, maybe should have, should have left out the BlackBerry key to and took that money to maybe engineer a bit more in the BlackBerry key to segment, maybe getting that price down to a round $499, because that should be the price you should pay for the BlackBerry key ? in my opinion, and even $399 or $350 for the BlackBerry key ? l.

e is a bit much in my opinion, because if you compare it to other phones- yes, you say: I shouldn't, compare the devices to other the BlackBerry devices to other smartphones, but I definitely think you have to because it's a price segment, where it's very, very overcrowded and when new manufacturers putting a lot and a lot of awesome techs into their smartphones at a price range about $2.99 or 350, and they also use premium materials like metal. Then you go, don't get in the bakery key ? and you don't have the awesome processor. You don't have the awesome battery, so yeah I think I should have, as I said, took that money put it into the key ? and get that money down the price down too about. For $99, that just would have made everything better. In my opinion, people wouldn't be so put off by the price, and they wouldn't need to buy a such a toned down version of the library key to which actually is the phone.
