Hey everyone- this is Larry welcome back to today, I feel like today is part two of how you can get very, very inexpensive cell phone service, where you can get sell a six-month cell phone plan for only 37 and 24 cents, total that comes out to only six dollars and like four cents a month, but I have the sim card in there I have an unlocked phone, I'm going to go ahead and get started. So here we go all right. Let's go ahead and get started. I have the sim card in here, so let me go ahead and uh show you guys right here. This is it. If you saw the first video, we could, you'll see that this is from tells right there.

So we have tells, and so all we need to do now is simply go ahead and get the sim card in there and then start uh the activation process. So I'm not exactly sure everything that I have to do, I'm almost certain. I have to go online and activate this sim card, but first thing it says: activate at telo. com forward, slash activate so um yeah. So I'm going to go ahead and open this up here, so we can see what this sim card is actually going to look like here.

So let me see if I can get this thing opened up and uh and get this sim card out. So let's get this package open and, let's see so all right, yeah there we go. I think that is everything there, and so we are going to have a little piece from sen from tells here it says: smart choice, uh you'll, love the extra savings and yeah, and then it says so, let's help you. Let's help you plan uh hashtag tells savings will go to blah blah blah. So there you go anyways, get that little uh card there and on the back, there's uh.

You know a little thing to help you what you want to save with, and then I have my uh my tell sim card here. So if you can uh check that out, we have our sim card. This is one of those cards that has multiple sims in there, so you have a micro, a mini and an uh and a full size. Sim and so it looks like there's going to be an activation code on there, and so I'm going to go ahead and activate it. So let me go ahead and head over on to the website, so I can get this thing activated.

Okay, so I have my computer here, I'm gonna head over to the tell website. Now it's so that I can get it activated all right, so there we have it I am on. I want to go to tello. com forward, slash activate, so let me hit that and there we go- and you can see here it says, activate your GSM sim. It says you are almost there.

Please act! Uh enter your activation code. So now, if you have a CDMA uh phone, it may be a little different. So if you had said a phone from Verizon or from sprint or something and uh, and it's unlocked, and you can use it, it may be a little of a different activation experience. But I'm going to show you this one, because I have a GSM sim all right. So let me go ahead and put the activation code in there.

Right now- and we can see right here- it's showing me my new phone number. It shows the order number. It shows that it's shipped, it's showing my new phone number right there. Furthermore, it is showing the activation code, and so now I just need to go ahead and hit activate again so that I can get this activated and you guys are seeing my cell phone number. So you know if you want to text me so there you go all right, probably don't call, because I probably won't answer, but if you text I'll, probably respond back all right here we go.

Let me go ahead and hit activate. As we say you sure you want to continue, I'm going to go ahead and say yes and see what we get here and uh yeah there we go. It looks like I am activated. It looks like I should be ready to go. So I have my uh.

I have my phone number there. I have my ESN and my sim um yeah. So it looks like I am all set to go all right. So all I need to do now is gone ahead and put this sim in my cell phone here, and I have an um. I had a Motorola, a Motorola unlocked phone here.

Unfortunately, one thing that did not come with this sim card is a sim ejector tool which I do have here. So I'm going to go ahead and get this uh get the sim uh the sim card put in my phone, and then we'll see how it is and do a speed test and see what kind of speeds we're actually getting all right. So the phone is all pretty much set up. I believe I don't think I have to do anything to it so um. Let me show you right, quick that it's actually showing that uh tells is on the T-Mobile network.

So let's just take a look there. If you can see that um get that to focus in for a moment if we can get it to focus in you'll, see in just up there in the corner, it's saying T-Mobile, so it's actually uh it's actually running on the T-Mobile network. So all right! Well, let's do this I'm going to go ahead and um I'm going to go ahead and just give myself a call here on my other phone and uh and see if this is going to work. So let me just go ahead and bring up the slime and, let's see- and let's see if this is going to if this is going to go through. So I'm going to call this is my uh, my android phone here and let's see if this is gonna, come oh yeah, look at that it is uh.

It came right on through there it is uh. It is right on through there, so nice, okay. That is good to see. So we can hang that up now. I just want to check the text messaging and see if the text messaging is going to work or if I need to do anything to get that set up, because sometimes you have to go into the settings and change some things, and I'm hoping I don't have to so.

Let me just go ahead and let me go to messages here, and it looks like there's an update for messages, so I'm going to go ahead and click update right now, I'm going to get this updated right, quick before I uh do this. If you're setting up a new phone or something or a new service, it's always best to make sure your phone and your or whatever other apps you have on your phone, are fully updated and have the latest everything it just makes it less likely that you'll have a problem. So all right, let me as soon as this is finished up, then uh we'll go ahead and see if uh, if sending a text message, is gonna work all right. Let me go ahead and uh and send this text message right now. So let me just go ahead and open up the messaging app here and let me go ahead and send a message.

Let me get this uh. Let me get this going, and I'm going to make sure I send it to myself. Actually, let me start a chat and let me just type in my phone number and I don't really text myself much, so you know all right, let's see, lets um oops actually put in the wrong number there. So let me make sure I get the right number in there all right there we go now. I have it in there.

Let me go ahead and send myself a message that will say hello. My viewers' oops are the best on YouTube period, all right. Lets uh go ahead and send that and let's see if this is going to come through and is it coming through uh. Oh there, it is there it is. It came right on through all right yeah there it is.

It came right on through the message is uh. The message: is there all right? I like that now. One last thing I want to try is: I want to see if, if picture messages come through just fine, because sometimes they don't always come through. So let me do this. Let me go ahead and just uh take a quick picture or two and get this going.

So let me just uh there we go. I have my camera on. Let me just go ahead and snap a picture. If I can right quick, let me get this going right there, and here we go. Let's snap a picture and let's get one there, we go okay.

So now we have a picture. Let me go ahead and send this via a text message there and see if we can get this thing going, this phone's, not as fast as my other phone. So it's you know it takes me some getting used to uh to see if this thing is going to work right. So all right, let me attach a photo and now send it and now, let's see if it's going to come on through to the other side, so all right, let's see it, should be popping up on here in a second there. Let's see if it's going to come in- and I don't know, let's see, did it come through.

Let me send it one more time. Let me hit that oh yeah came on through look at that. It's there we go, so it came on through there. We have it so yeah picture messaging is working um, you know, regular text messaging is working phone calls are working. I mean it's kind of awesome, six dollars and four cents a month, something like that: 37 24 for six months worth of service.

That is with that promo discount that I showed in the first video without that promo discount, it's only 49 for six months, either way with or without the discount you're doing, really, really great. With this service all right. So here we are. I have my uh my phone here with the tells service that is showing up on the T-Mobile network. I also have my iPhone, which is on the T-Mobile post paid plan.

So, let's see if we get the same speed, so I'm going to go ahead and do the uh the Motorola phone first, that has the um that has a tells service in there we'll see what kind of speeds we get so looks like we're going to get around not very fast. I never get really fast speeds with uh. You know with this service anyway. So, but it looks like we're. Going to get about six uh, seven, eight, nine, ten 11 about 11 megabits down, and we'll see what we get as far as up here.

So the up speed is going to be pretty bad, so there we have that. As we can see, the up speed is going to be pretty bad, so it looks like we're getting about there. We go 11 down and about 0.34 up so pretty bad. Let's move over and see what the pro uh the post paid T-Mobile is going to give us, and we'll check that out here and see. If it's going to give us anything better or worse and yeah, it looks like we are getting better on the post page, so it looks like we're getting um almost twice as fast.

Not quite it looks like it's dipping down a little there, so we're getting about 17 megabits, down and um, and let's see what we're going to get up here. So it looks like we're going to get uh yeah. It looks like we're going to get uh pretty slow, still pretty slow, it's a little faster than we were getting um on tells, but definitely uh. Definitely not uh what you would want, so there we have it there. We go we're looking at 17.4, gigs, uh, 17.4 megabits, down and 0.8 up on the um on the uh, T-Mobile post paid and then 11.3 down and.34 up on the tell, which is also on T-Mobile just on the T-Mobile um, you know prepaid. So let's try it one more time just to see so, let's go ahead, I'm going to hit the T-Mobile one, the uh T-Mobile post paid first, and then we'll go with tells next, so we'll see what we get here.

So it looks like it's going a little faster this time on the T-Mobile post paid. There looks like we can get all the way up to 26 megabits down our upload speeds, though, are going to be tragic. I mean they're about half of what they were before. Just yeah uploading stuff over on mobile is no fun if you have T-Mobile, so that is just tragic. Okay, let's go ahead and get this one lined up and ready to go, and so let's go ahead and tap the tells one again and see if we're going to get with the tells service here, and we'll just move this over here, so we can see it a little better and there we go we'll see what we're going to get and yeah still pretty slow um.

I mean it's its going, and it looks like it's. It's going a little faster than we got before. No, it's about the same as what we had before, so you're, not going to get the fastest data speeds on here, but at least you're going to get data speed, so you're going to get LTE, you know um, it looks like we're going to get faster. Upload speeds. This time, though, so that's something interesting, so yeah anyways there we have it.

That's it um. That is what you're going to get with tell on the T-Mobile network versus the T-Mobile um, the T-Mobile post paid versus prepaid all right everyone. So there we have it. That is it that is tell right there, that is tell phone service, and it's super cheap. I mean ridiculously inexpensive.

I was able to get six months of service for only 37 dollars and 24 cents, and that comes out to about six dollars and four cents a month. That's a crazy deal. It's going to give you unlimited talk, unlimited text, it gives you unlimited data, but you only get two gigs of high-speed data, and then it slows you down so yeah, I would say, take advantage if you need cell phone service, and you need something cheap check them out, because they're awesome and for a lot of us right now doing the pandemic on lockdown. We don't really need a lot of mobile data because we're at home all the time on Wi-Fi.

So you really just need the phone, the for the uh for calls and texts. So yeah anyways there you have it. I'm going to leave link to this down below in the video description, so you can check it out.
