2021 iPad Pro M1 12.9 vs 11 inch Sustained Gaming Performance Genshin Impact Test

Hi guys welcome back to golden reviewer. Today we are going to do a very straightforward comparison test. As you can see here, we have the iPad Pro m1 2021 11 inches and the 12.9 inch both of them have the apple m1 soc, and we are going to compare the sustained performance of these two devices. Today we will be comparing them using gantry impact, which is a heavy game and should put these devices under quite high stress, and just now I showed you that I've set both devices to the highest settings possible. They are exactly the same and I will be playing the spiral abyss, floral knight using the same team composition, and we'll see how they perform and who throttles the first. Alright, let's go.

Energy is no, oh all right guys, it's only less than three minutes into the game, and we already see that both of them start to throttle in exactly the same way. So actually we can conclude now that the performance on these two devices are mostly the same. They will be able to sustain the peak performance for about two to three minutes in gaming impact game and then start full throttle earlier. Some of my subscribers actually asked me is the 12.9 inch faster than the 11 inch, or is it able to hold its performance for a longer period of time, because it's larger it should have more thermal headroom, but from our test there is almost no difference, and I guess the reason we, the iPad Pro is just too thin and there is just no enough thermal conductivity for the heat to actually spread out to the whole metal body. So it doesn't actually matter how large the metal body is.

The thermal headroom should be mostly the same okay already. We can already conclude the test at this point, but I'll actually just show you a few minutes more of my gameplay for you to understand how it performs, after it has throttled, okay and towards the end of the video I'll, actually show you a fps record graph for you to better understand how each of them perform. Alright, so I'll stop talking and let you enjoy the footage. Um is okay, all right guys, so they've finished the test, and here is the final result, just as we've already seen they perform mostly the same and both of them actually started to throttle after about two to three minutes and after that they also perform about the same for the fps will actually flash fluctuate between 30 and 50. Mostly, so I think we can conclude that um the sustained performance for these two iPad Pro models are mostly the same.

So if you are after performance, I think the 11 inch will just be good for you. You don't have to go after the 12.9 inch just for performance, okay, and that's all for today's video. Thank you for watching. If you find this video helpful, please share it to your friends or community, and if you haven't subscribed to my channel, please remember to do so. Okay, see you next time.
