2021 Amazon fire hd10 vs Samsung tab A7 speed test By Fred's Aquariums and electronics

Hey everyone, so this will be a comparison and a speed test here between the Samsung tab, a7 on the left and the brand new 2021 Amazon fire HD 10. This is the 9 plus version, so they both have 32 gigabytes of storage and both have three gigabytes of ram as well. Both of them are expandable on their storage with a micro SD card. If you want to do that, this has four speakers two and two. This has two one and one both of them have cameras on the side. Here you can see like most tablets, you're going to these days, I'm sure they're not up top any more uh, both of them they're, actually pretty dang, similar looking side by side here.

The Amazon to me just looks a little wider, where this one looks a little taller. Both of these can do 1080p for the resolution. Both of them have very similar resolutions, very similar PPI to them, they're very similar devices. This is normally 230 bucks. This USD this is a hundred and fifty this is actually on sale at this moment for only two hundred.

So right now there's a fifty dollar difference between the two, otherwise there's about a what eighty dollar difference between the two again spec wise. They are very, very similar. Now this has a MediaTek processor. This one has a snapdragon in it, so the processors are a little different here. All right, then two.

This is actually bitten, I would say, slimmer, so this sticks up a little more, but when you're in hand you don't really notice that show them off real fast here, so this is metal. This is plastic, see we have a back facing camera power button volume rocker. There are two of your speakers on the side. Here you either have a pin or something else to get out the to get your micro SD slot there USB type-c, just like on the Amazon, uh headphone jack, just like on the Amazon as well two other speakers and a mic for some reason opened up the camera. There's my messy hair, then on Amazon.

Here are your two speakers: they are big uh, the holes are bigger. These you have your volume rocker here you have your home button. Two mics actually USB type c, your headphone jack. This is a lot easier to get into. You just need to do that.

Then there is your micro SD card expansion slot there nothing else on the side, nothing on the bottom here and then there is your camera and then again, both these other front facing cameras have them. This has the tap to wake. We just tap it twice and it wakes up. Amazon does not do that. I wish they did, but they do not go ahead in there all right now, let's get into the actual sorry, if I hit the camera there, let's get into the actual speed test here, we're going to use Google Chrome just to make this to make this more fair uh.

This comes with soap width, so browser, which is what I would usually use uh this. You cannot get silk browser on it. It's not as far as I know, since that is an Amazon thing, so go into chrome here, all right, so we're just going to check out a couple different websites both have been cleared of their history. Both are on my same Wi-Fi. One thing I really do like about the Samsung is that you have these arrow keys on the bottom.

Here I really wish all other tablets would do the same, so you can just go to the specific spot you want without having to touch it on your bar and your words one two three all right why this is not asking me? Yes, we know. Okay, I think the Amazon is actually a bit quicker there. Let's go into tablets and e-readers they're about the same, and this is on sale right now for 200 bucks, the a7. This is brand new, and it is 150. , go ahead and hit the a7 there, we'll let this load best buy always takes a bit to load on these tablets.

Unless you have the higher end tablet or ipad does seem a little better scroll down a bit to get this stuff loading overview there. These are very holy cow, they're super they're right with each other on speed. Here, I you guys, don't know which one you think is faster. I don't think I can click on you right now, all right, there's that, so they're, both almost the same. Actually, I'm very surprised. I thought for sure the a7 was gonna, be quicker.

All right, we're gonna, keep that open, get really camera there. I forgot that was on okay. Next, going to the Google Play Store one two three! You guys want to get the Google Play Store on your new Amazon fire, HD 10 or any other Amazon fire tablet. For that matter, go ahead and check out my channel. I made a video of it yesterday, three one two three two: there is a little of difference in coloring here uh, the screens are a little different.

Both of them look very, very good uh. This is almost a's a tad bit darker on, like the yellows and the different colors, it's a little darker, it's a little brighter, but if these are not side by side, they both look wonderful. They both look perfect, actually for not being that expensive of tablets on either end. Let's just go into YouTube's, I'm going to make sure the volumes are down here and make sure the volume is down, make sure hitting the right thing, nope wrong way, all right, so we'll go to explore. Subscription video we're different.

This is not actually signed in to anything all right. We're going to go into some royalties free music here right, no, not copyright! Okay, and this gets no ad- that one does look when that happens. When you're trying to do a comparison, see it's nice and loud sounds pretty dang good. Those quad speakers turn this one's volume up here now we're going to listen to Amazon. It's on this side, two okay, so Amazon is definitely louder, and it does sound a bit.

Excuse me, the yeah, the Samsung is louder and sounds a bit better than the Amazon, but both these are pretty decent, but this is definitely the winner on that. I'm trying to read that they're glare, it's on the bottom there, but it's not going away all right. Next, let's go into some gaming we're going to go into asphalt, 8 here, one two, three: okay, okay, yep! You can go away all right. I cleared those out we're gonna. Do it one more time here they both gave me some goofiness there.

So asphalt, eight, yes, foul, eight, not nine uh! Basically, the same yeah yeah show you the settings here. So, let's see where this is so high frame rate enabled yeah, so high frame rate is enabled high frame. This one for some reason doesn't show high frame rate uh, but you see actually here. Visual quality on the a7 is going to set the medium on the Amazon's actually set to high. So that is interesting uh.

This is just the non-plus version that is actually quite interesting to see there going to the cars there. We go. Okay, we'll get out of this, and one thing that Amazon does not do that the Samsung does do. Is this puts you back into how you were before you started a game or whatever this guy does not have to do it yourself. Let me set it the correct way here: that's where you guys can actually see it all right.

Next, one we'll show you guys the geek bench scores. I already did. Did these off camera, so you all did not have to see and watch it. So I'm going to show you guys. The histories here see it's May 28th, which is today 11 52.

So this actually only has a 302 and 1004. This is 316, so this does have better geek bench score. So it's very interesting why asphalt 8 actually went on high on here and running right, medium or whatever on here. So this actually for some reason. Yeah.

You can see the ram here 2.73. This has 2.64. This actually has a little more of usable ram out of f3 gigs that you have. This has the snapdragon 662. This has the MediaTek 8183.

So there you guys go on that. There's a geek bench for those that wanted to see that that was geek bench 5. All right. Now we're going to go back and open up these apps here. Oh I'm, very surprised, that's reloading! I'm very surprised! I had to reload interesting there you go that did not there we go.

Furthermore, I had to think about it. That did not go back to YouTube. I don't know why this is reloading. Well, we got rid of that on accident, so we'll get rid of this one as well. All right, there's asphalt, huh, I'm very surprised guys.

I just did a video piercing between this and the old one, and it did not reload anything interesting. Okay, so, even though they have the same gig against the ram, this is actually a little better. It seems Kevin there we go there. We go uh, one more thing before we end this video I want to say, is that um much more things here, both screens are very nice. Like I mentioned uh, the old one had some a bunch of light.

Light bleed coming through it, especially on darker screens, where they just did not look very dark. It actually looked kind of light. You can see the LED lights coming through the screen. This does not have that anymore. The 2019 version did 2021.

Does not this one also has multitasking. So if you click here, you hit split screen. You need to have another one, and you get multitasking as well, which is just really cool some reason. It keeps on reloading things but yeah. Now then too, if you get the plus version, you'll get another gig of ram on top of the three, so you actually get four.

So are you guys? Let me know which one you think is going to be better, especially since this one is on sale for 200 bucks right now compared to 150, so it's 50 dollar difference normally 80 difference here or compared to the plus version. It's only 20 different right now. You guys already know I like both tablets. I think they are both nice looking they're, both good tablets for especially considering their prices.
